hypothetically speaking (so i don't get a t/out) would it be okay to say

"wth is that girl doing on the yellow line vigorously waving an upside down american flag - she's been there for 5 minutes!!!!!"

or

"they're heading into the residential area - uh oh"

thanks

No. That is chit chat. The police chief starting to march with protestors is significant, LE arresting protestors, some of the protestors having an interaction with businesses such as marching through the store with their hands up. If where they are headed presents a problem then post what is happening.

If you are not sure, don't post it. This is the rule no matter what thread you are in. Basically use common sense.

so apparently Bassem's equipment has been stolen from inside his vehicle while he was in jail

he was arrested AGAIN for driving without a driver's license - said he's been arrested more than 40 times for this offense WTH?

he has zero credibility IMHO

hope this link is okay -- love the comment: "you think locking his doors would make a difference? where do you live?" LOL we NEVER leave stuff in plain sight in vehicles in the StL area Just Asking For New Windows

LMAO...love the way he describes himself "distribution manager by day and an active journalist by night." It's the 'Superhero Syndrome': Wealthy businessman by day, Batman by night! <modsnip>

I do not believe we are seeing the average property owner out there protesting. It seemed to me that many of the folks protesting were young and obviously have had run in's with LE or have friends that have had experiences with getting arrested. To have order in our society we need to have laws enforced.

I agree. But I would add to that, for a free society to function well requires that the vast majority of people voluntarily obey the law.

Isn't he a cab driver? Does he distribute people to their destination?

Where do I begin with this story? First, they call her Eric, a couple of times, which is confusing to me. Also, they state: Darren Wilson, who shot Michael Brown dead, was given an award for it"

Also, isn't this the cousin he kept yellinig out to for assistance, as outlined in DW's report?

Finally, let's have a look at Mr. Brooks and then another look back at OW. Mr. Brooks was "violently thrown to the ground?" LOL!!! Is this DW we are talking about here? Because it sounds to me like they all have him confused with Bruce Willis! :loveyou:

I think they are trying to point out that OW got an award for the arrest of Brooks, but they sure expressed that poorly. First read definitely sounds like "OW got an award for killing MB."

As for the rest: Yep, this is why I do not consider DM MSM.

Christopher Brooks seems to be huge, wider shoulders/arms than MB. With Brooks was his friend Erik, Brooks' uncle, his female cousin Erica, and perhaps another male cousin on the porch whom Brooks was imploring to "get" OW. Cousin Erica "lived on the property" along with who knows how many others who could have attacked OW at any moment. OW called for backup, citing the dangerous situation, but help hadn't arrived. Showing how unfearful the supposedly terrified Erica was: "I wrote down Wilson's name on a piece of paper and said, "Well I'm sure I won't ever forget you." That's exactly what I said to him.'

DM is equivalent to the Enquirer, I believe. Take it with a grain of salt.

Do not quote personal information about family members of Brooks when the article is from a "rag" type paper that are notorious for rumors and then comment on it. If it is mentioned in MSM, it's one thing. This is the first time we are hearing this information and it may not be credible.

My bad. I thought we were OK with DM here. Sorry! :blushing:

During the arrests note that LE was filming from the steps.

I see why the free lance reporter was arrested.. she consistently put herself in the middle of it and was in LE's way. imo

i noticed that the police were wearing gloves & don't think i've seen/noticed that before

edit . . . well, they can also increase the lawsuit by this # - interesting all the "suits" waiting for them to be released today.

I was curious how LE was going to handle the protestors last night, because of the 60 million dollar lawsuit over 'false' arrests they received yesterday. Looks like they were not too worried. lol

I really thought there were going to be arrests because last night it was raining, so only the few hardcore protestors were left there. There were only about 20 but they were the frontliners and the main organizers. And they were talking about marching INTO the station. If I saw it, I can bet LE saw it cuz I am sure they are sitting in the office watching the same livestreams we are.

So it is no surprise that they finally got arrested. The cops came out on loudspeaker and reminded them about the noise ordinance. And they still chanted " We Shut da Chit Down" over and over. And they were right out front of the station. So even though on twitter they keep claiming they were arrested 'for no reason' ---they were warned.
