Seriously? Is that even possible? If he isn't called, that says hella lot to me!

He hasn't but that doesn't mean he won't be called. There is a month to go yet on this thing.

Last night with Don Lemon, the guy's lawyer said something like (paraphrasing) "yeah earlier today the FBI met with my client at my office." And then she said something like, they retrieved whatever they needed to from the recording.

I got the impression that the FBI had taken a copy of the recording, or something like that, IDK. I'm sure they have very sophisticated tools that.

Did they say what took him so long to come forward with this so-called bombshell?

I'm unclear on this (didn't read article yet so not sure if addressed)

Is the DOJ investigating regarding civil rights issues? I feel the reporting on what exactly their role is, is confusing. Are they investigating on a criminal basis or civil, or both?

It is very confusing.

Possibly 4 lawsuits

2-criminal state/federal
1-civil federal
1-civil from family

Death of Michael Brown could potentially be subject of four lawsuits

To the poster that suggested the storey about OW backing up came fom OW supporters saying he backed up when he heard the BOLO, I first heard it from DJ.

  • #965
that is a very good point !!!
was the catalyst that began the unrest and subsequent looting

who did he release the tape to? I vote he will not being doing interviews with CNN!

re It screams to me that witnesses are being coached. He learned a bunch of new words in that great You TUbe posted recently. A quick study?

RE Ok, I guess I get that, it just seems odd to me. Me too your star witness no less. We all should remember tho, that the prosecutor is the only one who decides who is a witness I think?

Has anyone heard a story on CNN that is NOT breaking news? Man if something serious was really going on conditioning would result in most just blocking it out!

Re if they do not sound close

to you did they sound close?

Before I go... Foxfire, gngr, or any others who've been analyzing the car locations...

I'm still curious about the movement of the suv as seen at the beginning of the Brady video.

Was it Wilson's, and how does it influence our cones, measurements, etc.?

Maybe I'm missing something, but that seems important....?

The SUV that pulled onto the far left of the road next to body, then parked beyond the body across the road, was most likely the second responder and his SUV is parked at the opposite end of street from Wilson.

  • #967
Not that its important, but the audio suggests to me that at least four shots (after the pause) came after MB turned & faced OW. If all four shots hit MB (big If) that leaves 2 shots hitting MB at the car or as he was rumming away.

Where did they get all this money for the Michal Jackson or the Kennedy funerals? <modsnip>

re As far as I'm concerned, Baden needs to retire while he still has some respect and credibility left. He seemed so shaky, confused, and maybe embarassed in that autopsy briefing with his "assistant", that he made me wonder what was going on. And I do wonder what was/is going on with this gratis autopsy.

Posted link earlier --the female (cant recall name) who did first autopsy clearly stated he had no idea that that fake autopsy dude was going to be with him

re but either way, I want to keep who said what and when straight.

Do not feel alone - most cant either - its a soap opera!

"Breaking" now on CNN, according to the latest report (!) it seems like this might be a case of He said She said- just wanted to everyone to know that

Does anyone think that the people (witnesses included) being interviewed by media are getting paid to give the interviews?

The WaPo examined DW's life in a guilt-by-association hit piece over the weekend. There were 3 writers named in the by-line and 6 more "contributors" noted at the end. There was nothing at all negative about DW himself anywhere in the article, despite their best efforts to smear him with the tar of a troubled upbringing and a discredited former police department.

The NYT also went dirt-digging over the weekend using 6 named writers/contributors, and also found zip, zero, nada negative about Darren Wilson himself.

Imagine what sworn law enforcement officers across America, active and retired, think when they see this young officer being crucified and terrorized before their very eyes? If a no-bill brings about "massive protests," I hope they're dwarfed by push-back from millions of fellow officers currently waiting and watching, but ready to make themselves heard if DW is sacrificed simply to stop emotionally-driven mobs from burning down their communities.

IMHO, their goal was not to find "dirt" on OW. They were simply reporting facts about his tough childhood, his mom, his steps to becoming police officer, and what they knew about him as police officer. I read the NYT article. They did the same exact thing with MB. They were more personal anecdotes about MB, but that's because MB's family and friends shared those stories, and I'm assuming that OW's family and friends did not. They are staying silent. That's why there are personal stories about MB, but none about OW.

JMO.

So what do you think the first volley of shots were about? They were NOT warning shots.

I think the first group of shots hit MB in the arm. OW waited to see if he would stop and he didn't, then the last shots hit the head.

You realize the fund was set up for this? Also- are we actually sleuthing not only the dead man, but his funeral?

IDK, I think the lawyer said he "realized" the "import" of the recording later.

Maybe for the use of their videos and definitely getting trips to NY (Piaget).

I heard it...had to rewind it to make sure I heard it correctly. Oh my...people are something else when they try to talk above the line.

well - the cnn "reporter" in ferguson that was on about 5 minutes ago gave the option that the 1st group of shots came from the car encounter = unbelievable imo (referencing her "conclusion")

so there's another scenario

Interesting information I took from his interview: He mentions that people keep calling him a "witness" but he feels that he is also a "victim" and that he not run for cover that he too would have been shot to death.

That is a HUGE stretch to me. He WASN'T shot to death. But MB was shot to death. Why might that be? So he is basically saying that DW decided to shoot and kill one innocent kid in broad daylight, but chose to do nothing about the witness that was "standing right beside him?"

It shows me that MB and DJ both reacted very differently to the situation, which is why one of the men is dead and the other is giving interviews on CNN.

And the latest witness said he knew it was safe to go out once OW walked right past DJ.

Thanks wasn't enough. Great post!

And I still contend that DJ might not have actually "witnessed" much of the shooting. His "crouched down a bit" behind a car can mean a lot of different things, and it could mean his head wasn't raised above the sight line of the car.

It would be logical to conclude that if DJ was hiding behind a car to prevent getting shot. That he would not have exposed his head as a target. Can you imagine the terror felt by the drivers and possible passengers in the three cars that happened upon this incident?

While waiting for a traffic light to change in a high crime area of Atlanta, a few years ago. Several other people in cars and I witnessed a drive-by shooting of a man waiting at a bus stop only feet away. It was surreal. It was as if we were all thinking to ourselves, "did we really just witness that, or was it a horrific hallucination"? The bleeding shooting victim immediately got into a passing car and was transported to the hospital. The traffic light changed from red to green, at least three times before anyone proceeded on their way.

I wonder what the forensic experts will make of the position of MB's arms.

If MB would have his arms in the air (as a sign of surrendering) or close to his stomach, holding his stomach in a kneeing position as some witnesses indicated, wouldn't MB's arms being in a completely different position? Above his head/closer to his head? Or under his body as holding his stomach? JMO.

Instead, his arms are alongside his body. Which, IMO, could be identical with someone running full speed with the head and body slightly bent forwards.

My take on it is the cival rights part comes much later after they can ignore the grand jury . I dont know which link sorry! But is was in these casue I was surprised the other day when I learned grand jury really means nothing but cover the prosecutors a## and stalls everything. IMO they are in la la land if they think stalling this is going to help any of this.

IMO I think it is going to do the opposite. Cause if the prosc decides to, after grand jury, go ahead, we are trial lovers here, then we are really in for a long haul

Cnn said last night that Trevons stuff is still putting along the system..............

like remember oj it went on forever

I am confused. How did this audio get released me too Lamb anyone know? IN the old days attribution was given on anything!

RE Did they say what took him so long to come forward with this so-called bombshell

IMO becasue of the foreground dialog.

re supporters saying he backed up when he heard the BOLO,

that is how I recall it too. It made sense to me BUT the first day they said he did not know about the strong arm robbery ..... so like everything else thus far.................
