I will be the first to say MB was a 🤬🤬🤬🤬 🤬🤬🤬. I will also be the first to say telling someone to get out of the street is complete BS. Not that that has anything to do with this case. And yes, I know, others disagree. Here, there isn't a day that goes by where kids aren't walking down the street, oftentimes right in front of cops on their way to school, and are never told to get out of the street.

Just because others are doing it doesn't make it right.

It's what I tell my 3 boys every. single. day.

Nothing more than legal posturing. I believed them in the beginning when they implored no violence, but you cannot stand right next to a separatist who incite riots with your fist and say you want peace. It's almost like saying you're the peaceful guy in ISIS.

It's not just that. It's the continuing to schedule the protests earlier on so that they ended at night. While there probably still would have been some issues, I don't think it would have been as bad if their protests ended at 3:00.

Clearly, there are files/records to open.

She acknowledged that Siwak could open files further but implored her not to, saying the integrity of the family court was on the line.

In fact, the statement above, plus the fact that Michael attended four different high schools and the fight to hide these records by the fam's attorneys *could* also be because Michael turned witness to avoid charges at some point. Beyond destroying their false narrative, that would make the angry looters and shooters Shahid and others are exploiting abandon the cause.

“It’s very dangerous,” he said. “They kill us if they think we are responsible. People don’t understand that.”

“Snitches Get Stitches” message spray painted on burned-out QuikTrip

The word on the street (in fact, I think it's in one of Piaget's first interviews) was that Michael's strong arm robbery occurred at QT.

Walking down the middle of the street is stupid and dangerous.
It doesn't happen where I live.

Incorrect. It is not that they are NEVER arrested first. That only happens if it is OBVIOUSLY without a doubt, going to be charged.

Or, if I understand correctly, there is probably cause a crime has been committed.

Oh goodness! The meeting isn't going so well according to twitter.
It's out of control... but what did they expect? Approx 200 in attendance.

Sorry I'm behind and may have missed an answer.

To me, those things look like vid cameras for attaching to athletes (bikers, surfers, rock climbers) to record action from their POV.
W a quick search, I can't find any images.

But, but, but......it's for their own safety. Have you seen some of the drivers out there? And let's not get into a discussion about people who text while they are driving and run up over curves. Kids/children do not belong walking down the middle of the street, ever. It is the duty of the officer to tell them to get up on the sidewalk. It's why we have sidewalks.

It appears to me, they have never before attended a city counsel meeting;)

I think Officer Wilson's right to due process most certainly is being denied. Police have not named him a suspect in a crime yet inflammatory rhetoric is being lobbed to arrest him. In that regard, it is no different than the public outcry against Richard Jewell years ago. A man vilified publicly and he actually saved lives during the Olympic bombing.

Such rhetoric influences public opinion greatly and will impair Wilson's right to an impartial jury if he is indicted. There is no purpose whatsoever in the rhetoric other than inflame public opinion and fuel a lynch mob mentality. It disgusts me greatly.

JMO

It certainly seems they're trying to cut short the process already underway. It almost seems like they believe he should be arrested just because they say so. What an incredibly dangerous precedent that'd set! You cannot hold a city hostage just to imprison one man on your word. It requires evidence.
