The tension there in the streets is much worse tonight than it's been all week, IMO. I hope no one gets killed.

Well this certainly appears as if he wasn't running away, and shot in the back. Also, it seems from this report the shots were not at close range. Cop certainly didn't stand over a kneeling person and shoot him in the head.

Looking at the autopsy drawings, all shots were from the front. And yes, ,shots were not at close range according the article, but they need MB's clothing to know for sure.

As bad as tonight has been, this is only going to get worse IMO.

it was family's autopsy. Which means they wanted it out. First autopsy is on hold until DOJ is done.

“The sheer number of bullets and the way they were scattered all over his body showed this police officer had a brazen disregard for the very people he was supposed to protect in that community,” Mr. Crump said. “We want to make sure people understand what this case is about: This case is about a police officer executing a young unarmed man in broad daylight.”

Seems this will be the narrative.

I don't get how this happens?

Black Talon bullets maybe? They fragment when they hit your body.[ i think they are illegal now but there is a new type used that fragments too]

Since we the public are being "protected" from hearing anything negative, in my opinion, I am wondering if the first autopsy has more eye opening conclusions.

What are the laws regarding freedom of information in Missouri? I imagine the media has known since before the first autopsy was even completed.

Jackson said that it would 'show the people ' that he was kneeling in surrender, just like they thought. He apparently ignored the other possibility, also in the ME report, that MB might have been rushing towards the officer.

Too bad this theory completely discredits at least two witnesses. Possibly a third, but I am still transcribing witness accounts. I'll probably finish them after the case is over at this rate!

You could be right - we saw that happen with the release of the robbery video that destroyed the myth of a "gentle giant". It just inflamed things.

I worry that things will be inflamed no matter what. Like a runaway train. This has been brewing so long. There is still a lot of unresolved feelings about several previous verdicts of hot button cases that are festering.

I think it really important to view each case on its own merits.

Different cases have had me feeling certain kinds of ways lately.

I can honestly say I have not decided how I feel about this one.

My opinions on previous hot button cases of late are no secret.

This one I am truly trying to not form opinions on before everything is in. I worry that politics or good old boys or public pressure will play a role. To me that is not justice. :(

If Officer Wilson shot Michael brown without cause I WANT THAT KNOWN AND DEALT WITH.

I do not think any of what is happening right now with unlawful behaviors furthers that goal.

A MOO MOO here A MOO MOO there, yada yada

Thanks! You answered my question! I missed this when I wrote my last post. :shame:

Thanks for all your hard work!

This is the 9th night LE has had to deal with "protesters".

Does this mean hands were not up on the air? To get shot on the top of the head, but instead leaning down. Geez jmo

ciao

This proves 100% that his hands were NOT in the air. If his arms were in the air the bullet would have entered from the back of his arm not the front. Also there is no way that the officer would be firing at arms raised above his shoulders. The officer would be aiming for his center mass not at a spot above his shoulders.

Based on this report officer Wilson is completely vindicated!

The gun residue tests will be/have been performed.

Although Baden didn't have the clothing, the injuries sustained in his forearm and in the head would have evidence of residue if the shots were fired at close range.

He didn't have his arms in the air. The bullets entered his arm from the front. Baden noted he didn't have access to his clothing to check it for gunshot residue.

JMO

His arms may have been raised after the first shots; the head shots were the last ones.

Please explain how the cop with the gun knew the kid didn't have a gun. There is NO way he could have known.

An Excellent point IMO. If MB had taken the cop's gun away he could have shot the cop with it. This has happened many times.
