I am not sure I should even post this....but I can't help wonder what the outcome would be if MB had shot Officer Wilson instead? Would we have even heard about it? Would the people of Ferguson want justice or would they just keep going on with their lives like nothing happened - just another cop dead - oh well. I agree that it should be about what what's right and wrong...but it has turned into something terribly ugly because MB happened to be black. All the riots, the looting, the shooting...and that's just tragic and sad. Racism works both ways sadly. It's really sad that we as loving and free human beings can not get past the color of people's skin and have equality.
Indeed. In Jerise Wright's case, I have heard the killer referred to as a "kid" and all kinds of speculation about him having to have been a victim of abuse himself or how else could he be so evil? And posts about how the adolescent brain is not mature at the age of 18. And even trying to blame his heinous crime on speculative (not a scrap of evidence) head injury. Geez! Where is the "what if" for Michael Brown?
He (Gabe Gaeta) admitted to brutally raping and murdering a six year old child. And yet, he is afforded more consideration and, YES, sympathy than dead MB. Who is just a few months older. And MB raped and murdered nobody. Why are people so desperate to make allowances for the white pedo rapist killer, but not for the black guy with a handful of cigars? Are cigars more valuable than a little girl's life and innocence? I guess so.

But he is slightly "different" than Gabe the baby rapist. And it's not location.
This is really just horrible and I am shocked it has not been addressed.
