Oh yeah, we love us some Tim. While other "reporters" were hanging close to the LE line, whining all the time about how badly they were being treated by LE, Tim was out in the trenches, getting shot at, gassed, talking to protesters, non-involved citizens, other reporters who'd been in the trenches, etc. Like the other VICE reporter said earlier, the more popular MSM reporters file reports which get whittled down to 30-second blurbs twisted to garner a desired reaction. These VICE folks (and other smaller media outlet folks) are bringing us the whole, ugly story in a manner which makes us feel like we are right there with 'em.

The warrant is for stealing and dates back to June 2011.

ABC 17 News looked into Johnson's past and found out he has also been charged with filing a false police report in the same year.

After cross referencing several records, ABC 17 News found the warrant, which is for Dorian Jordan Johnson, is actually the same person as Dorian Jarvis Johnson.

Maybe he is good and has a conscience. But his lies if he lied caused a whole lot of trouble.Riots everything. Very sad.

I don't believe it was his lies that caused all the trouble but instead caused by the lies told by Piaget and the other woman. I think the FBI canvassing uncovered other witnesses who have debunked their lies. DJ crafted his story to fit with their versions. It will be interesting to see if either one of them is charged. Lying to a federal agent IS a crime, as Martha Stewart found out.

Could be. His parents live in a different part of Ferguson, I've wondered the reason he stayed elsewhere. I can't be too harsh on the parents, even though they are allowing Crump to turn this into a circus. Much like the Peterson family in CA, your kid is your kid and any serious wrong doing by them has to be hard to swallow.

ANd just imo I think him coming is going to escalate all kinds of stuff . It a tinder box == IMO the last thing they want is to talk to a authority figure - they have lived with it -- THAT is the whole issue - being disenfrachised.

IIRC, MSM (sorry, no link) a few days ago, referred to Ferguson voter turnout in last election (I believe Nov. 2012)
as 12% of the registered voters. So the other 88% of registered ppl could have voted but did not.

I just searched for data to support this but could not substantiate. JUst found info re county wide turnout.
If anyone finds anything showing this data to be off, pls post.

IIUC, Jesse Jackson,Rev. Al, and/or others from outside St. Louis metro area are planning voter registration drive soon.

If Ferguson's discord is based on disenfranchised ppl, it could be in part,
due to ppl simply not turning out to vote in their own interests, whatever those interests are.

And come to think of it, his attorney appeared on one of the shows last night and said DJ wouldn't be interviewing because he is now a witness. And I didn't see his attorney anywhere on the shows today or tonight, while I saw plenty of Crump, the Brown's attorney... not that it means much, just something I noticed.

The report claims that DJ has admitted to investigators that MB struck DW and fought for the gun, i.e. he changed his previous statements. This seems believable to me because DJ made statements previously to the media (and I presume police) that have now been proven false. He claimed that MB was shot in the back which has been proven false by the autopsy report. I suspect that his attorney probably advised him that he was in serious legal jeopardy for making false statements and probably arranged immunity from prosecution in exchange for making a full confession.

If in fact this is what has happened it seems strange to me that a GJ was convened. Not even the proverbial "ham sandwich" could get indicted with this set of facts.

Given the source of this information - a local (albeit small) media outlet - I think we can give weight to this report.
