Let's not forget 18 year olds can fight wars.
besides 18 year olds know right from wrong......legal from illegal.

But they can't buy a beer or rent a car........probably a good reason for both.

And current brain research shows that the frontal cortex of the brain is not completely mylenized until about age 24. That part of the brain governs critical thinking, executive functioning and decision making.

In fact, the brain of the 6-12 year old is in a much more 'stable' state than that of an adolescent. Once adolescent chemical changes meet the underdeveloped frontal cortex.....well, yeah, teenagers.

Not that all teens are incapable of rational thought, but generally speaking, well, if you have a teenager, it will remind you of the toddler years.

"Um did you REALLY think shaving your head was a good idea?"
"Well, I know you were angry, but could you have thought of a better way to express that than calling him a ?@$&&?# ?"

Not excusing criminal behavior. But am explaining that an 18 year old is not an adult, developmentally speaking. And also that on these very boards I have read posts positing that minor perps must have "had to have been victims, themselves".

Hannah Anderson comes to mind. Super sketchy stuff there (IMO and not just MO) and yet she was a pretty, popular cheerleader and as such, given a huge pass. And called a victim in MSM and everywhere other than comments from real people who smelled a rat.

Even young killers who without a doubt are guilty of the crimes they stand accused of.....I read post after post speculating about abuse or sexual abuse or brain injury or medication use or wrestling injury.

I read no such posts in defense of this young man. None. He committed a crime, yes. Not murder. Not rape. Not baby rape. Not killing his mother and little brother. I understand what Officer Wilson did. What I do not understand is why, with all the looking for "answers" we do on here regarding other young offenders, we are content to just assume MB needs none of this consideration.

Where is the discussion as to "why?" for Michael Brown? Why is this 18-year-old just a 🤬🤬🤬🤬?

Guilty is guilty. But to search for explanations for some, while just treating others as "here comes another one"?

That, I do not understand.

Fox is saying there is solid proof that Brown touched the gun.

On FOX now... prove MB touched DW's gun

can someone clarify? Was it reported that it is fact that it is PROVEN that Brown touched Wilson's gun or was it being discussed that IF Brown touched Wilson's gun that SHOULD be something that can be proven? TIA

Nancy Grace tonight, Daryl Parks, when asked about reports of DW suffering facial injury said:

"without question we know, that there was a major altercation at the car there's no question about this so you will never hear me say there wasn't a major altercation within the car"
"We have a video of the officer right after..." shows Piaget Crenshaw video "that guy doesn't appear to be in distress right there, he's not holding his eye, he's not bleeding from his eye"

Interesting that last night he referred to it as "there was some level of interaction, strong interaction, between the officer and Michael at the car. We don`t deny that,” Daryl Parks It's now a "major" altercation.

The classical music link is right below the shooting link. Refresh your page and try again, or maybe change browsers?

Or click on the YouTube logo and watch it there. :)

IMO I think this is gonna branch out :

Although unrest among blacks in South Los Angeles after the verdicts in the Rodney G. King beating case apparently led to the start of the riots, by far the biggest single group of eventual offenders were Latino men from 18 to 24 years old, accounting for 30% of the arrests, the analysis determined.

"This was clearly not a black riot. It was a minority riot," said RAND criminologist Joan Petersilia, who examined data on more than 5,000 cases processed through the Los Angeles Municipal Court system.

Honestly, I can't answer that. I know when it happened, it was a little swollen, he was given an ice pack and sat down . ( daycamp at the time) when the nurse checked on him, three hours later, they called me all panicked and an ambulance. I met them at the hospital. It had swollen shut, the eyeball was blood red, and I swear, not exaggerating around his eye and his eyelid swelled up the size of a baseball.
He did say he was very disorientated but didn't loose consciousness.
He had a CAT scan and saw "eyeball"
Specialists. ( forget the name) neurologists..and even a plastic surgeon.

I can't find the early photos... This one is 3 months later. I edited it so he can't be recognized per TOS

Holey [emoji202] ! Poor guy! We can't "see" him, but is that your handsome son with the dreadlocks? (Lol did I even spell it right)

I found 2 links. Apparently the lower eye muscle can get caught pinched between fractured bone ynder the eye and the eyeball gets "stuck" and a can't move ~shivers~
I think that is when surgery is required. I'm sure some other reasons.

I noticed that if she doesn't agree with what her guests are saying, she cuts to commercial.

She always does this. Especially with parents she thinks are lying about their missing/dead children. She has been wrong a few times.

To be fair, most of the parents she treated as suspects, I also thought were guilty. But I don't have a TV show.

Oh new witness came forward..statement on Megan Kelly....crap I didn't catch his name.

Corroborates much of Wilson's version.

Off to google.
Do you have a link to this?

But why did the recorder put music over the video preventing us to hear the verbal interaction?

Seriously, why?

I did the same thing, turn off volume from 1st/store video, in goes into a long commercial. Then watch 2nd video.

This guy talking on fox right now needs to go away. He is an <modsnip>

I don't like this guy on Argus radio live feed. There is a lady there supporting Officer Wilson and he says, "She is OBVIOUSLY here to agitate the crowd"

I guess he is a mind reader.

Anyone have another link for live feed? His is good quality but he's too biased for my liking. Ah, maybe I'll just wait for Tim.
