I was serious, but I am harmless and not upset. I get a lot faint praise to anesthetize from the brutal cuts to follow. JK

These are allegations. If he is such a serious threat to public safety, why has he not been sanctioned, due to appear in court, or in jail? Doesn't mean he is not fraud, but why aren't these people working to file charges, if they are so concerned?

This attack is the reverse of an appeal to authority in a debate. For, instance are you going to argue with the pope, President, whatever authority figure you hold in esteem? Well, Nobel Prize winner thinks x is wrong, are you going to argue with him? The debater wants you to be so flustered as to not realize that what x is advocating may not be in his field of expertise and his advice may be worse than the average person.

It is trying to discredit Mr. Parcell's character, credentials, expertise, while not really addressing if what he is stating is suspect. Baden is well respected, so they go after Parcells. I think what he is stating is medically sound, and Baden has repeated the same points. I have not seen any attacks that address problems with the autopsy, only attacks on Parcells credentials. etc. That is a cue they can't impugn the autopsy. They want to sidetrack interested parties in a sideshow and muddy the situation.

He may be a fraud, but it doesn't mean he doesn't know what he is explaining. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

"I'm not really a medical examiner but I did stay in a Holiday Inn last night"

(Just joshing with you mdna)

She was in total denial of innocent until proven guilty. And that's a community leader... shudder. Kept saying but he was shot twice in the head! Never wanted to hear anything about possible self-defense

Wait. That is the same thing the clueless protester kid was saying.

Right, he said that the day the still photos were released and hours later the entire video was released. A reporter asked him why are you releasing this now and he said well you all requested it using FOIA, I was obligated to release it. (paraphrased). But he said that the day it was released. Not sure who asked for it though, since some of the reporters asked why he released a video none of the reporters knew even existed.

I haven't seen this posted before. According to this FOX report the video of MB robbing the store was released in response to a FOIA request and that Chief Jackson held off releasing as long as possible in order to allow MB's family to view the video first.

If this is true (and it should be easy to prove) how was the false narrative of a "smear" allowed to take hold? If Ferguson PD Chief Jackson was simply responding to an FOIA request how can people ascribe an ulterior motive for the release? Of course if this is true Chief Jackson did a lousy job in presenting this information to the media or defending himself in the aftermath. In his presser he should have made it clear that he was simply complying with the law in releasing the video.

If the above is true it is despicable that the lawyers for the family would issue the statement claiming Ferguson PD smeared MB. They had to be aware of the video being shown to MB's parents and most likely aware that the video was to be released in response to a FOIA request.

He did state that. IIRC when he was speaking right before the PC started the first time, he said he had a planned meeting with the family that morning and they didn't show up. He said he guessed the lawyers didn't give them enough notice so they could make it.jmo

Why does everyone keep saying, "we want justice for Mike!"

How are they so certain justice hasn't already been served?!?

Alright, I did it. I finally listened to O'Reilly's truth about Ferguson talking point. I think I shared the other night that I really really don't care for him.

That man succinctly and eloquently expressed my thoughts on this case. As if he is in my head.

I am freaking out. I completely and totally agree with Bill O'Reilly. Like literally EVERY word of it.

What does this mean?

How did this happen? To me? A hybrid, a card carrying conservative liberal???

 :waitasec:

:thud:

Where is the link? I keep reading references, but must have skimmed over the OP. PM or post here.

Thanks.

It was recommended by a poster here to just YouTube the incident because there were links provided here but there was an issue with audio.

RE"
etty funny to have it turned around on him.

Oh, I played that part like 5 times, iloved the whole thing, tone of voice etc . It was priceless!

I was surprised, when I saw it earlier it only had a few hits, I thought it w3ould go viral !!

Colorful and appropriate -- but shame officer will only get a paid vacation out of it.

The officer was not from Ferguson and Cpt Ron Johnson said he has been removed from security duty in Ferguson.

New witness heard a altercation outside. A strong voice
Looked out window saw a tussel at police car. Officer still inside car. Saw another guy in front of police car by passenger side front bumper.
(This witness only heard 2 shots)
After tussell they took off running
Witness does not know MB but saw him in neigjborhood.
Saw officer get out of his vehicle and starts shooting.nheard maybe 1 or 2 shots. Does not know if MB was struck.
This is when new witnesx ran outside to capture it on video
.
Mb was 20 feet away when shots eere fired.

Once outside MB was facing officer
MB had his arms under his stomach leaning half way down.
Officer then lets out 3-4 shots.
Saw MB take one or two steps towards officer when officer shot him.

"We want justice, Here's your peace"
You know, I still think they should bring the bikers in to keep the peace. I don't think they would be talking to them like that.

I can't believed I missed both of the stories on the new witnesses! I must have been clicking around at just the wrong time. I wonder if Anderson reruns, Megyn Kelly usually does.
I'd like to see both grrr...
