LIBERTY, Mo. -- A Clay County mother has been indicted Tuesday on murder and several other charges after she allegedly fell asleep in her vehicle last summer with her two young daughters, who later died.

Jenna Boedecker, 30, has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder, four counts of child endangerment, one count of third-degree domestic assault, one count of armed criminal action and one count of first-degree property damage. That's nine felony charges in total.

We have all been waiting for the murder charge to come. It has taken a long time. I honestly didn't think it was going to happen. Now it has and I bet she will take a plea and get a light sentence. Missouri is a harder state when it comes to sentencing criminals though. We shall see.

Anyone have a thought about why there are four charges for endangering the welfare of a child? Also, I'm still a bit confused on the timeline..did the husband leave the home at 11:00-11:30, or was it 3 in the morning? I'm inclined to believe the earlier time, as I think the call to Cps was 11:00 ish or so. The story has been very hush hush. Or certainly, I haven't seen much. SM has some crazy stories, and I do wonder what really happened. And why did these charges take so darned long??

Charges stem from an argument w/husband re his infidelity on night of 7/3. Plead not guilty. $75K reduced (7/31/18) to $25K cash or Surety only bond, & then changed (8/16/18) to $200K.
ALSO charged (1/29/19) with 2 counts of 2nd degree murder, 4 counts of 1st degree endangering the welfare of a child creating substantial risk, 3rd degree domestic assault, 1st degree armed criminal action & property damage. $500K bond.
Bond conditions for assault charges: Supervision by def. to report within 24 hrs of release from custody & thereafter every week, submit to drug tests, wear GPS monitor. Must maintain fulltime employment & show proof each time in court. Can not possess weapons of any kind, no contact w/husband. Can not leave State w/o court permission. Nothing yet on death/murder charges on little girls.
8/30/18 Update: Bond Hearing for 8/30 continued to 10/4. Defense files Motion for Disclosure.
