Damn I was SOOO naive when I first came to this site!!!! I really thought teachers, police, firemen, etc were good guys. I am obsessed every night reading on here. Thanks for posting this case. Crazy world we live in....

Remember, Missouri's the state where a candidate for U.S. Senate, Todd Akin, said there was "legitimate" rape (and the woman's body "shuts down" and she can't become pregnant) and rape which isn't "really" rape at all but a consensual activity, with "regrets" later.

AND he was very nearly elected. Dark Ages indeed. This all ties in.

Talking to MailOnline from their detached home in Maryville, school teacher Mrs Barnett, 50, said: 'The more you dig, you will get closer to the truth. It is not on the surface, you&#8217;re going to have to dig for it, unfortunately we can&#8217;t help with that because that is not our personality.

Mr Barnett, 52, added: 'There are hundreds of cases across the nation. My kid is being assassinated. The way this has all been spun, for example my son being a football star, he was not a football star, he was a back up.'

I believe all 14 year olds who have been found out side in the morning drunk several times! If the mother and 14 year old would have been willing to be deposed by the DA so hew could put them on the witness stand at trial under oath the "rapist" might be in jail now!
