Oh wow, thanks CherrymegThis is an interesting article.

I'm saying Joe and/or someone he knew (and someone Garrison also knew) were spooked by the women talking to cops. This doesn't stop with Suzie. There may have been concerns of what Sherrill knew as well.
Joe used Stephen Lada and so did Mike. Dusty's was different.
Attached screenshots. Different case numbers.
Look at the dockets. Mike used Lada every single appearance. So did Joe.

Wrong.I’m looking at the files and there was a statement of conflict filed because of that and they gave Mike a new lawyer.
Wrong.I think Mike had a different attorney once Joe made a deal.
Wrong.
Mike appeared with Lada every single appearance. Joe did as well. Who was the new lawyer then if what you're saying is true?
Why did the same Lawyer fight for polarizing sentences? Interesting a bit, isn't it? Mike must really hate Joe.
Reminding you that Joe hasn't said jack in 27 years. He's been holding up well. Despite your claims to how criminals and cops should/shouldn't have operated. Also, things don't always work out how they "should" or seem. There is absolutely no proof Sherrill spoke to the police.
Also why let Joe go if not only did he talk at a party, make a statement, testified against friends, on first hand knowledge, but kill three women on a whim they may talk. Joe was proven to have talked, but now they will trust him and kill three innocent women.
Prove he had a different lawyer. Just show the lawyer's name and case number. Shouldn't be a big deal.So you are saying I have false files???

My biggest thing with the Clays and their narrative here is the thing where Mike claimed to have been Suzie's friend. But did not say anything like that in 2012 when he first started posting on various forums. It still sits with me. Not to mention a friend wouldn't hope another friend is dead.
The revisionism is well documented

Honestly, this is a pretty minor inconsistency. I would be concerned if he started exaggerating how much they hung out and saying that they used to call each other every day, but "He said she was a friend seven years ago and now says she was" isn't a smoking gun. We don't know how often they saw each other or how much they interacted on those occasions. There have been times where I looked back on (non-romantic) relationships where I considered the person a friend but, upon reflection, realized that it was more of an acquaintance relationship than anything. It's fairly subjective stuff.
"I hope those *****es are dead" is an awful thing to say, but it sounds more like the angry outburst of a 19-year-old who clearly wasn't a great decision-maker at the time and incorrectly thought that Suzie was the one who ratted him out.
I'm more concerned about evidence and someone's ability to pull off a crime like this. I don't think three guys who broke into a cemetery high on LSD and then got caught because they tried to pawn off the gold teeth using Mike's ID card are competent enough as criminals to pull off an abduction and (presumed) triple homicide, get rid of all the evidence, and get away with it for nearly 30 years. Using your own ID to pawn off something as strange as teeth, only a short time after the break-in and a short distance away, is amateur hour. IMO this was the work of somebody who wasn't new to committing violence against women and knew how to cover their tracks.
How do you know that Joe hasn't spoken to LE about the case in 27 years?

Wait he changed lawyers but still appeared with Lada? After Lada filed the notice of conflict on 10/01/92 there are a couple different lawyers on his case papers. Not giving you more than that. If the mods want proof I will send it to them, but not putting anything on here. Lada is also on his probation in 94. Lada is on and off the case because he agreed it was a conflict defending them both. Mike is at work and will ask him when he is home about it.
