once defense knew that judge was not going to let her refute the things he allowed the defense to say, she should have concentrated on the flight risk and risk in the community. Not that it would have made any difference but being well prepared to address those was her best chance to not have bond set. Wasn't there something in the past about the M's talking about going to Canada- don't need passport for that.

(Would the time line fit for this?):
What IF - SM met Heather (she picked him up oh say.....at a Kangaroo gas station on 10th) - and she was killed BEFORE anyone got to PTL.....that SM drove Heathers car to PTL and had TM pick him up there -- and the only thing they needed to get rid of at that point was the phone??
I have always believed this to be a good theory. Timeline fits. The only thing that was divulged was that the car seat was set for someone of Heather's height, but that doesn't mean someone taller couldn't have driven it.

She didn't go to meet SM at 1:30am. 1:30am is the first contact between the 2 of them, with him calling her cell phone from that payphone.

The timeline is that it was around 3:30am that HE left her apt to go meet someone at PTL. Phone call logs establish it was SM she was calling over and over as she approached PTL.

I believe he set her up. Whether he wanted to or not...he did and is as involved as his wife.
Phone call logs establish it was Heather's PHONE that was attempting contact with SM's PHONE. Unfortunately, it didn't have to be Heather or SM who had their own phone in their possession at that time. I have concerns that LE has the sequence of events sufficiently wrong enough for the M's to believe they can get away with anything they might have done.

If they have no direct evidence against the M's Ive got to got to wonder what the state does have and if the state can prove HE is dead. Not feeling really good about this case. jmo

Looking forward to hearing about SM's release tomorrow. Who will be there to pick him up, do you think? I wonder if his little "conference" with TM yesterday impacted his previous plan of residing in his grandmother's house.

The timeline could work and it sounds possible, but that doesn't explain the frantic one call after the other to SM's phone right before her phone signal ended.

Actually it does. If either SM or TM killed HE sometime between the pay phone call and PTL then the killer could have driven the car to PTL and used heathers phone to call the other to come pick them up. Actually the last completed call between heathers phone and SM phone happened right before her car and phone left for PTL but that doesn't mean it was HE who drove the car or made the calls. It could have all went down between the call to the roommate and the call to SM phone from her apartment. We just don't know much.

So going back to square one over a year later, what do you guys make of SM calling Heather at 1:30 from a payphone? Do you think he was calling to lure her? Or trying to meet with her / talk to her? Maybe warn her? Do you think TM was either tracking his phone, or following him?
RSBM. I'm getting caught up on the thread (again), but didn't want this topic to pass me by. I stand by my theory from whenever ago: After drunken IE escapades, TM and SM got into a fight. They were at Broadway at the Beach (Tilted Kilt) at the time. Either she left him there or he ran off from her. On foot, he went to the payphone at 10th Ave N, to call Heather. Something tells me that whatever TM did at TK was over the line to SM, which led up to the big fight. Now that we know he was filmed sneaking out from behind a dumpster to use the payphone, I think his call to Heather about leaving TM was genuine, even more-so than before that tidbit came out. That vision makes me think it was TM he was trying to avoid. He didn't seem to notice the camera, so I just imagine him having a buzz and trying to "escape."

Have we seen that video?

I agree with your theory about the fight and have thought this all along. I wonder if once he was presented with the fact he's on CCTV using that pay phone he explained how he got there and where he went/how he got home after that.

I haven't decided if SM lured her or got caught trying to meet with her. I don't believe that he loved Heather, though. The pics of him smiling, after Heather was gone, show me nothing but a slime ball who used a 20 year old and then went to Disney with a grin on his face after Heather was murdered.
How can we be sure that any of those photos are real, as in not Photoshopped?

I agree. The truck coming and going was simply to pick up the person who was dumping Heathers car at PTL.

I'd really like hear a theory on how things went down if this is the case. Anyone have one?

BBM: Nah, I wish. I definitely have my own version of it, stuck on loop, in my head though, if you want to borrow it. ;)

He did run in the Disney Marathon,as per LE, and he was smiling and waving along with the other participants. I don't think TM would bother to photoshop everyone in the photo.

Agreed on the Disney photos, but TM put forth many other photos of him/them, and those are the ones I imagine were doctored. As for him smiling in the Dis Marathon pics, it would be pretty difficult for him not to IMO. I've never run more than a 5K, and I know he didn't RUN the whole thing, but running creates endorphins and puts a pretty cheesy grin on my face. Even more, try not smiling in "the happiest place on earth."

He would be a fool!

Yes, Tammy had texted someone about going to Canada and the State did not bring it up at all!

Here is a photo gallery from the bond hearing that I had not seen

http://www.thestate.com/2015/01/30/3959797/moorer-bond-hearing.html

The prosecutor also didn't bring up that they both have Florida state ID's (which was brought up at the 1st bond hearing) etc.

I agree that this was 'just a bond hearing' - but things can go off kilter in a trial too, and if the prosecution isn't able to 'recover' better than they did at the bond hearing - that just seems worrisome?

He does not strike me as the Disney type of guy!

Whats with the Disney addiction?

BTW - media reports have verified SM is still in jail. It is being surmised that he may get out today though........
