The police have evidence of where she went. They have her phone records and can determine her locations. The Backwoods Bar and Grill does not fit with the location of her car or anyone who told the media they spoke to her or any facts released by police or friends so far.

WE, WS members, have no evidence. We are all in agreement that LE holds the key with the evidence that is remaining confidential, that will hopefully lead to the arrest of JC's murderer. Nobody knows where she went. Many of us are throwing out ideas for the purpose of discussing them with other concerned members to gain further insight into what could have happened prior to her murder.

Jessica was attacked after she left somewhere and there has been a media report she was attacked a week earlier.

What we haven't seen is any evidence Jessica socialized on a "whim."

I found another link reporting allegations Jessica was attacked a week before she died. There is also a video at the WECT link.

These allegations if true are significant & investigators according to media reports pursued questioning Ali.

PANOLA CO, MS (WMC) -People in Panola County are talking about what may have led to Jessica Chambers tragic death.
Amid rumors, Ali Alsanai says he doesn't know whether someone choked Jessica Chambers outside of his store. He says he just found out about the allegations and it is not in his surveillance recording system.
"I heard from random customers walking in and out that she got choked a week before she died. It was early in the morning.....I didn't know about it because I wasn't here," said Alsanai.
District Attorney John Champion says there is still very little chatter on the street.
"I'm not going to comment about that. It wouldn't be fair to investigators for me to comment," Champion said.

Respectfully, LE have not said anything about Jessica being in a bar in Sardis, Mississippi the night of her death. Her affiliation with faith-based programs and churches was apparent by the number of ministers and testimonials at her funeral and are known facts.

There is a difference between speculation based on facts and rumor-mongering, imo.

No offense intended to Mr. Chambers, but some info he gave was incorrect: JC wasn't on fire when first responders arrived. She wasn't in a domestic violence shelter or women's shelter; Leah's House has 2, 3 and 12-month residential support for drug and alcohol sobriety. He said JC didn't smoke; CCTV, an acquaintance & AA confirm she did smoke. I don't blame him for hiding the dirty laundry; after all, she's his daughter and will always be his angel. I'm just not taking everything he and the mother say as the gospel truth.

Do you have a link to support your claim Jessica was not in a battered woman's shelter? Mr. Chambers didn't say she was at Leah's House, he said she was at a battered women's shelter. I don't view the fact that a woman who seeks shelter to be "dirty laundry." Especially when the woman is torched to death.

Chambers' father, Ben Chambers, said his daughter left a battered women's shelter a few months before she was killed.

I was making the point that your opinion is no more or less valid than anyone else's. You continuously ask people to provide proof that she was somewhere they think she could have gone, but yet you offer no proof that she went to her pastor's residence. I've had the same feeling/theory about this from the start, but no suspect/s until tonight. If it's gang or drug related, I'm way off base and have no idea who it could be. But if it's relationship based like I believed from the start, things are beginning to come together in my mind. Everyone thinks (what if) in terms of their own personal experiences, and I am no exception. Just to be clear, I am not accusing anyone, just suspicious of 1 to 3 people which I will not name on a public forum. I'll just keep sleuthing, and it could turn out that I am totally wrong and change my direction of focus.

But if it's relationship based like I believed from the start, things are beginning to come together in my mind. I agree with you. I think her killer might have gang or drug-affiliation but I seriously doubt Jessica did at that point in her life.
