Oh, dear. Maybe it was just for me, lol! I occasionally have troubles type-delete-type-delete-post-edit-post-edit again-post-wish I could delete.

So, this last time I went to edit a post, an entirely different page showed up with a section at the top before the section where you type a comment, and there were two fields in it. One said Delete and the other said Reason for Deleting (or something like that)

Gone now. If it comes up for me again, I'll make a note of what I did. :/
Go to Edit Post. Click on Delete button. The delete field appears. Click Delete Message and fill in the reason if you wish your post to remain or you can simply click the Delete Post button to get rid of the post entirely.

This time I won't delete directions for deleting. ;)

LOL! I do thank you for your directions! :tyou::tyou:
I would do just as you said before and I honestly could never find that dang delete button to begin with so I'd edit, one time I erased everything I'd written and left a single period punctuation mark instead (on purpose) and another time (on purpose) I used button to Report my own post in the hopes it would get pulled. I'm pretty good with puter stuff, but this issue just eluded me every time. :D

Interesting that last night I did a quick Who,Why and What may have triggered the alleged altercation involving Jecssica?According to media reports (REF: Timeline)'whatever the grievance' it escalated into something physical.

Not,that I remotely would credit the incident to the following (But you bring up good questions). Recently,Jessica was employed at Goodies and her father had returned her car.

Now,could someone have insisted that morning Jessica give them some money or Could someone have insisted she give them a ride(perhaps her insurance didn't allow her to carry passengers?) or Even, she was late going to work & couldn't reciprocate some demand???

Or,it could have been some female who was warning off Jessica from some perceived flirtation? Anyhow,I have been puzzling over this alleged altercation that LE have investigated.(REF:Timeline)MOO

Nit picky on my part..sorry. But the only source of Jessica's car being withheld/returned is questionable at the least. Her father nor mother has stated anything about her car. A blogger supposedly talked to someone who said that he was her former BF in an exclusive interview with all kinds of gossip about murder and mayhem (rolleyes, imo) ..... I have a french model boyfriend... I met him on the internet ;)

Here are a few crime scene photos showing the tracks in the mud up the embankment.

View attachment 67263 View attachment 67264 View attachment 67265 View attachment 67266

Understandably, the original tracks were destroyed by the tow truck but, the angle in which JC's car was positioned is still evident in these pictures IMO.

In order to tow the car away, the tow truck driver would have had to line up the lift bed to the car. Chain the car, and then drag it onto the bed.

Looking at the angle of the tracks in relationship to Herron Road and the fence, it is my opinion that JC's car was traveling NE and made a sharp right turn towards the tree where it came to a stop. Contrary to that, if she simply pulled off to the side of the road "normally", she would have:
a.) pulled directly into the dirt driveway OR
b.) if she wanted to actually drive up the embankment, she would have driven in from Herron Road at much less of an angle.

IMO, the position in which her car was found is not natural (from either direction on Herron Road).

I'm yet to see any pictures of Herron Road where any skid marks were present. No skid marks, no brakes – for the most part.

If another car was traveling SW towards JC (traveling NE), it is possible that JC swerved hard and to the right to avoid a head-on collision. Being that her car did not slam into the tree leads me to believe that she was not speeding or driving too fast. The embankment would have also stopped her car as well and possibly cause JC to gash her head.

Was this possibly an accident? An accident with a cover-up? Did someone deliberately run her off the road? Could someone else have been in the car and pulled the steering wheel to the right causing the car to drive up the embankment?

We all know the final outcome but, how and why did her car end up where it did in the first place?

What is the blue thing just below the crime scene tape in picture #4. Is that a muffler?

Until + unless someone with some credibility (medical examiner, coroner's report, etc) says this on the record, I totally concur.

Shoes, soles + all, will absolutely burn given enough time + exposure to oxygen. So long as someone is standing, feet on the ground, the soles of his shoes will likely burn last. But how long does someone stay standing if one is on fire?

Shoe soles will eventually burn or melt, but they will serve as a barrier before the bottoms of the feet burn.

There's a fantastic book out there (non-fiction) called Nine Minutes, Twenty Seconds about a real plane crash and the stories of the individual passengers; some survived, some did not. There is some vivid detail about the conditions of those passengers who suffered varying degrees of burns. It is hard to read some parts (seriously, I whimpered aloud at least twice) but I found it fascinating and sympathetic to those involved. Book link via Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/Nine-Minutes-Twenty-Seconds-Tragedy/dp/0609810162

Um, my point was: real life example of people's shoes, soles+all, burning right off. Totally possible. And this book has been a key source that I keep coming back to reading about burn injuries + survival condition after the fact.

I didn't say it was impossible, I said it was unlikely when seated or standing. Jessica wasn't in an airplane.

At this point I don't even know if the statement about her feet was true or if it was just a generalized statement meant to illustrate the horror of the extent of her burns

I believe it to be a true statement that does illustrate the horror of the the extent of her burns.

Chambers was flown to a hospital in Memphis but later died. Authorities said initial autopsy results reveal that Chambers died from severe burns that covered 98 percent of her body.

Darby said detectives are working to learn who the woman may have been with before her murder -- examining her cellphone, which was left at the scene.

I doubt anything said by a former boyfriend, especially when it seems to fixate not on Jessica but instead on her parents and family.

GM's arrests apparently have NOTHING to do with Jessica's murder.
imoo
As far as I've read he is NOT a POI. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
imo

no one knows what he was arrested for yet, right?

There is nothing to say any of it was legit. The blogger never verified his source, no vetting. For all I know it was a punk job by anonymous. I think it was a fake to bait certain folks in. imo

The image presented in the January 1, 2013 Panolian definitely bares a remarkable similarity to the Fox interview. What bothers me is the reference in the article to 1994. A subsequent Vinelink search on George Mister will produce a "George Mister Jr.", birth date 8/18/1970, and the relevant photo shows a man who appears to have similar features to the Fox-character, but without the stringy hair-style.

My point that I think that I am trying to suggest here is that the Panolian, January 1, 2013, photograph may not be the correct person for the article. If you think about the charges, and the $110,000 bond, it seems highly unlikely that that person charged would be walking the streets with his pants sagging by May, 2013. That man would have been 43 years old.

Thus I believe the "saggy pants" George Douglas Mister III is the person who walked that walk, and he is also the person in the Fox interview standing next to Rachel Denise Tutor. He does not appear to me to be 44.

However...in the final analysis, I would be happy if LE had Geo Sr, Geo Jr, and Geo III all behind bars for the next 60 years!

I'm 44 (born one month and one day before GM Jr) and I get carded at restaurants. you would not think I was even 30 yet. Mista the third appears to be a teen (16 or so I think).

imo, the soles of shoes don't burn whether you are standing or sitting.

depends how hot the floor is. I melted the soles of my shoes sitting around a fire pit with a metal grate which I was resting my shoes on. It has to be very hot and you have to have contact for a couple minutes at least. I think JC was up and moving, not in contact with hot surfaces, and not on fire for long.

Not that I'm aware of. :)

I'm wondering if maybe LE is finally starting to haul some of these characters in on other charges, just to kinda shake the tree and see if anything good falls out.

Sorry, that more accurately was a reply to Absentia, who was asking if anyone knew what Mister was arrested for.

That's what I think is happening here IMO.

It just reminds me of the Haleigh Cummins case. LE couldn't get people to talk so they started locking them up on other charges. Everybody that people suspected of being involved in Haleighs disappearance are currently locked up on other charges. IMO, it creates a bargaining chip that can be used to solve the crime...if only these people would talk. JMO

Soooo Mister and Auntie just got locked up again?

Wasn't these the same two who had a hold placed on them in the beginning?

Yes! And also SteveP's original quote + octobermoon's "I think you are spot on" comment.

From the National Geographic article I posted earlier in the thread, on unsolved murders:

"The enormous backlog reflects the decline in convictions in recent decades, with 63 percent of murders solved in 2014, compared with 91 percent in 1965, a change attributed to rising drug gang violence. Such crimes are particularly difficult to prosecute because many witnesses, out of fear or gang allegiance, are unwilling to name names at the time of the murder. That means roughly 6,000 murders go unsolved every year....Study leader Davis suggests that gang-based crimes can in time be solved when gang members are arrested and feel motivated to testify against a rival gang."

Now before anyone freaks out: I AM NOT SAYING OR IMPLYING THERE IS NECESSARILY A GANG INVOLVED, directly or indirectly. But the idea that people in a community are arrested for one thing and bargain out by agreeing to testify or offer info about another crime is totally relevant.

Since we really have very little that we know is verifiable and the truth, all we can do is speculate. So what follows is my own speculation only: I absolutely think JC was a very sweet and loving young lady. But I also think JC was into drugs at some point now or in the past and perhaps had relapsed recently. I think that there is definite gang involvement and that drugs are distributed by said gangs. I think JC was believed to have betrayed the gang in some way, either through not associating with them, breaking up with a boyfriend, or stating that she was writing a book. I also think someone or something lured her to the "party," a euphemism for a group of people getting together to hang out, drink, do drugs, whatever. And I believe the intention was to hurt her or kill her, which they did in the most horrendous fashion. I base these opinions on some family experiences. I have a beautiful, shy, thoughtful niece who somehow ended up in the pain killer epidemic sweeping the country. None of us knew until very late in the game that she was an addict. But after exhausting the usual resources of doctors and ER visits, she began to hang out with a less than desirable crowd that no one had ever met before. Long story short, she is clean and sober now, but not before her husband died of an overdose, she was arrested for illegal drugs, she lost custody of her two children, and the person she had become most friendly with was put into prison for dealing and for gang related activity. I thank heaven every day that nothing horrific was done to her, as was done to JC. When gangs and drug money enter the picture, all morality, compassion, and respect for human life goes out the window. And beautiful, loving people become victimized. IMO, IMO, IMO.

I agree. There seems to be a lot of finger pointing on social media and maybe that is the way these groups have communicated in the past. It's also possible the baiting is being down by LE, who are probably quite adept at it.
