Found Safe MS - Nathan Covarrubias, 14, autistic, missing from boarding school, Walnut, 29 May 2020

Yep something is very wrong with that place how did cps not shut them down. They seem shady as heck . At first glance of their website they seem like a religious behaviour modification setting but the more we hear about it the more disturbing it seems.
Exactly!! It's crazy how some places cover up their shady ways by playing a ”christian” role!!

I hope le have searched the whole grounds of the school , why the delay in reporting him did they go looking for him my minds taking this to a bad place . Having other children supply discipline because they couldn’t is so wrong on many levels . What was the issues with the schools dogs are they dangerous do they patrol the grounds ? I hope they find this boy fast something just isn’t right

I have all the same questions and so many more!!!!

“I became aware from the CPS worker that Nathan was on top of their list” for concerns related to “inappropriate discipline,” Covarrubias told the Daily Journal “””””””””””””” this part from that article really bothers wtf did they do to him why did he run .....

There is a FB group with other comments and rumors about this place. I can't post any of the info here but if you search his name you can find everything.

i think his mother has said he was "intellectually below normal" so i doubt he is high functioning. I'm also wondering if he might have a genetic disorder due to his facial features and head shape? (im not trying to be rude, theres just many disorders that also impact the bones in the face) Personally I cant see either how a facility for non-disabled boys with behavioral problems is a good place for this boy but I don't know know his family or his medical history so I will try not to cast any judgement.
I hope the facility is held accountable for Nathan's escape :( im guessing the facility wasn't set up for the care and consistent supervision that Nathan probably needed, though.
I thought the same about the size/shape of his head/face. I was thinking of Fragile X syndrome; What is Fragile X Syndrome (FXS)? | CDC but it is very rare. However ASD can be a comorbidity of FX, I think like 60% for males - don’t quote me though).
MOO.
(Side note, when I was trying to figure myself out [the oddities and whatnot], before my ASD diagnosis, I thought that I could have quite possibly had Fragile X. But learning about it was the catalyst that led me to my autism diagnosis!)
