Found Deceased MT - Rebekah Barsotti 33, & dog (fnd deceased), Town Pump, Superior, Mineral Co, 20 Jul 2021 *Reward

To be honest I don't get the story completely. Did the van-owner came forward now because Rebekah witnessed someone damaged the van on July 2nd? And she left a note under his/her windshield stating that somebody threw rocks at Cerberus and damaged the van while doing that? And now they asking for possible other witnesses who were there that day and saw somebody throwing rocks to Cerb but also to her/her car, wanting to identify this person?

According to the Find Rebekah Barsotti FB page, run by her family, Find Rebekah Barsotti this picture was taken on 7/20/2021. It was used in (one off) the very first missing persons flyers, because it was thought she was wearing the clothes seen in the picture when she went missing. I'm not sure how the family got it. It think it's a selfie. In the reflection of the sunglasses there seems to be her arm. Maybe Rebekah send the pic to her mother that day, but I'm not sure about that.

I found the picture of Rebekah and Cerberus on NamUS website and under the picture it says selfie taken the day she went missing. Since LE has always had the phone in their possession, I suspect LE provided the photo to NamUs.

I want to clarify the time. I was curious if the photo on NamUS was original from RB's phone so I had an IT tech at work verify it is from her phone and it was taken around 1:00 pm. She showed me how to find the info on the photo on NamUS website but I can't remember how to do it now. So tomorrow I will seek her assistance again for exact time.

I am new here, although I have been reading everything from afar, I am also a friend of Rebekah and Montana native. I worked with Rebakah 2014, employed her later and was friend of Rebekah back in 2014/2015. I am here to help solve this disappearance for her parents. I live in the mid southern part of MT and will be traveling to numerous points of interest the weekend of Feb 17th, in hopes of putting all this in a map context. Together we will solve this disappearance.

If I am remembering the time correct, this photo would have most likely been taken on her way to Superior from Missoula. She was last seen at Town Pump in Superior, MT at 2:15 pm the day she went missing.

And if the time stamp is correct in this photo. This should be close to Missoula. The drive from Missoula to Superior is APPROX 50 mins. This photo should be somewhere close to the outskirts of Msla on the way W to superior. She would have left approximately 1 pm from Missoula to make it to her 2:15 meeting at the TOwn pump in Superior to get her belongings.

BBM, I just wanted to respond to this part of your post, it's not uncommon for bodies to not be found right away. I was trying to find a specific case from when I lived in the area of a young man who was witnessed falling into the river and it took a year before his body was found.

Anyway, I couldn't find that specific case, but this is another case that isn't the Clark's Fork, but Remains found near river identified as Yellowstone employee | ktvb.com this man wasn't found for 3 years after he went into the river.

I sincerely hope Rebekah's remains are found soon.

You must also consider it is called Hellroaring creek for a reason. This story has no relevance other than its a story about a person people saw go in and couldn't be recovered. In this case there is NO evidence RB went in the river. IMO

It appears the new PI has discovered something they believe is relevant to Rebekah's missing case. The family is asking anyone that was at Council Grove State Park on July 2, 2021 around 3pm to 4pm to come forward. They want to know if anyone saw Rebekah's car, a 2014 Silver Passat? Or, if they saw a specific van or other cars there? AM has already spoken to the owner of the van and they have confirmed Rebekah leaving a note stating that someone was throwing rocks at Cerberus. There is also a crack in Rebekah's windshield. They want to know if someone threw rocks at her car as well? There are photos of the Van and cracked windshield on Rebekah's car taken on July 2, 2021 at 3:40pm.

Poor Cerberus! It appears he was caught in the middle of a marital dispute which ultimately resulted in his death. All dogs go to heaven or so they say. MOO

I'm trying to decide if the image in RB's sunglasses match this Google Maps Street View screen shot. This is traveling North on US 93 towards Missoula. The white building on the left (the Lolo Community Center) looks like a match. I guess it depends on the resolution of the blow up of the sunglasses image.

There is a dog training facility (Wind Rivers Canine Partners Dog Training) off of US 93 South of Missoula. Maybe RB went there with Cerberus on the morning of July 20th and was heading back to Missoula prior to her trip to Superior when she took the selfie. I suppose it depends on which time stamp is correct.

Fairly certain this is correct, right building profile 100%
A thing to consider is are the sunglasses lenses curved, if yes even slightly the perspective won't be exact regardless

I asked AM if she thought the image (previous image posted) was I 90. She consulted with a local and neither of them believe it is I 90. I agree this image you found of I 93 does look very similar to that in the reflection in RB sunglasses.
