Further to the prescribed burns in Lolo National Forest this spring, I hope that the fire crews will pay particular attention to patches of fireweed. Why? Fireweed grows in areas of disturbed soil. The distinctive colorful flowers will be coming into bloom in June.

Patches of this flower have been documented near St. Regis, Tarkio, Alberton and Missoula. Eyes open and look for disturbed ground covered in colorful flowers, please.

There are a number of homes on 4 Ave. in Superior, across the river from the Big Eddy boat launch. Were they canvassed and security camera footage checked?

Since only one person allegedly saw Rebekah after her last shift at work, and that person worked for Rebekah's estranged husband, the "facts" as we know them are open to debate, IMO. Let me rephrase that: no independent witness(es) can verify Rebekah's whereabouts after she left work in Missoula. Therefore I believe that the timeline for her disappearance, and the discovery of her belongings and vehicle at the Alberton recreation area could be misleading. A phone pinging is just a phone pinging. Security footage of a vehicle is just an image of a vehicle. Belongings on a riverbank are just belongings on a riverbank. Where was Rebekah and when did she go missing? I have seen no proof of the alleged timeline at all. I cannot restate this enough.

I continue to believe that Rebekah is nearby. That is MOO. Critical thought processes prevent me from accepting this story as it was presented. Not buying it.

Honestly, I don't know. This interview is the first I have heard anything mentioned about Big Eddy. I'm not sure who the information came from. Since this is the first time I have heard AM specifically name DB's caretaker that met Rebekah, I wonder if it came from her. But that is just speculation on my part. It's doubtful, if AM just learned this info, security camera footage would be available 8 months later??

I agree. I don't believe anything is as it seems...meaning I don't believe the situation is as it was presented by LE back on July 20, 2021. But I believe that is the way it was intended by whoever needs to be brought to justice for Rebekah missing.

I suggest that concerned citizens of Mineral County should do their own research on the internet to determine the past history of each candidate. Past behavior is the best indicator of future behavior. This is a very important election, not just for the Barsotti family, but for everyone in Mineral County.

I don't have a main stream media source yet, but I have recently received information that there is a new person collecting signatures to be able to run in the November election for Sheriff of Mineral County. She would actually run against whoever wins (Funke or Cashman) the July election. Here is her bio:

My name is Gretchen Webb and I would like to introduce myself to Mineral County. I am gathering signatures, so I can be placed on the November ballot, as an Independent candidate for the Sheriff of Mineral County. I have lived in Mineral County since 2015. During this time I have seen many people come and go as Sheriff.
In 1975, I started my career in Law Enforcement, as a part-time dispatcher. In 1981, I joined the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Florida and rose to the rank of Captain. When I retired from Palm Beach County, it employed over 4000 people. I managed and supervised many different units: Patrol, Organized Crime Bureau, Special Response Team, Negotiator, Training Bureau, Internal Affairs, Watch Commander, and District Commander. I am a graduate of Florida State University and the University of Louisville – Southern Police Institute, Administrative Officers Course. From 1987 – 2009, I was an instructor for the Palm Beach State College Police Academy. I taught high liability and tactics, and general law enforcement classes. As Sheriff, I will bring my skills and knowledge to Mineral County. Road Patrol, Report Writing and Investigative skills must be improved. Police Academy training is not enough.
