Gosh Amen. I don't mean for one minute to make this about my family, but we can't help but think about things like this.I am glad he is not there now. But I am sure this must be painful for him. I am so sorry.
Gosh that scared me. The itinerary chages a bit each voyage. they did not go to Myanmar and this group is coming back in a few days. they are almost to Miami
I understand wat Meduza was saying. I am also aware of the fact that our government is begging this country to take the money offered, while U.S. Katrina victims were begging our government for help.have you actually ever lost your home to a natural disaster?
i have... 3 times.
so... yeah, i think that if their own country can't support them, then yes, then we, THE wealthiest nation in the world, should help those who are without shelter right now...
i'm sorry that you are having problems with the gov. right now, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't help a country that is in dire straights.
:furious: Why oh Why is the government seizing supplies ?! It makes no sense to me.
Hey*wipes your country and its people need help!
This just makes me so mad!
I just read that ALL of the supplies that they allowed the UN to bring in have been CONFISCATED BY THE GOVERNMENT and are NOT being handed out to the population. Unfortunately, this is another one of those situations where the military will be fed first and the rest of the citizens and die. Very, very sad indeed.
Unless aid is given directly to the victims, they won't get any of it.
imo
Yes, and that doesn't seem possible.
