Yes those scientist even did their own testing on pizza. Kobi lost his common sense when he got hired by the defense. He reminds me of Geragos after the Peterson's hired him to defend Scott, he also got very annoying.

~~ my bold

OMG, that's an understatement. Nothing like "red herring" Thursdays.

No kidding! You'd think there would be some sort of clause that would end the contract if he went to work for the defense of a case they are discussing every night on the show.

Do you think it may be possible that the judge will not allow him as a an expert witness when the time comes due to his appearances on NG?

Thank you Themis and Angel Who Cares. I thought it should be in court but was confused by TonE's attire. Guess I'm just dating myself. . .

I hope we won't see Baez and/or Kobi giving daily lies on the courthouse steps like MG did here. Made me want to throw up.

My favorite lie - that Laci had a sonogram the day before she disappeared. It took Dr. Yip calling the paper and denying it to dispell that red herring. Don't even get me started on that case.

That woudl be fabulous. I would love to see that happen.

Probably his mom..Sounds like weve got another Cindy Anthony :furious:
Funny, you should say that...I was thinking CA could right a "Handbook of Mistruths, Lies, and Other Annoying Behavior"...oh, better not give anyone an idea.

I hope he lets him if he is a stupid as he appears.......

I can hear the DA now; Kobi is your "world renowned" lab certified for police work?

Kobi: ah, oh, ah........NO

DA: Why ?

Kobe is out and out lying. He said the FBI report said it COULD be human decomp. That is true, bu8t then Kobe says it could also be animal decomp. I thought the FBI ruled out animal decomp.

Also he disses the cadaver dogs when he lauded them early in the case before he was hired. He specifically said that cadaver dogs are trained to alert on two decomp chemicals, putricene and cadaverene (sic) and ONY human flesh decomps to those chemicals. So Kobe is now an officdial liar along with the rest of the defense team.

The validity and reliability of cadaver dogs varies among cadaver dogs. Well-trained cadaver dogs tend to produce reliable results. One can espouse the belief in the efficacy of cadaver dog science without believing every cadaver dog is effective in producing valid and reliable results.

They did rule out animal.............He is either TOO STUPID to read the report or he is deliberately lying. Either way he is a fool, because both will come back to bite him in the butt in court.

Where did the FBI report "rule out" animal decomposition? I don't think the FBI report made any definitive conclusions.

from page 27:
"Finally we wish to discuss the possibility that these chemical signatures are of human origin...While the direct correlation of animal bone to early human decomposition may not be exact, the results are interesting and potentially point to a human origin as the source of the scent."

from page 29:
"...indicates that a portion of the total odor signature identified in the Florida vehicle trunk is consistent with a decompositional event that could be of a human origin

I don't see how the report rules anything out, nor do I see how Kobi is revealing himself as "stupid" or "deliberately lying."

It's a new science and the scientists themselves aren't making definitive conclusions-- everything is up to interpretation.

He really should go home at night and watch himself on the show so he can see and hear how stupid he sounds.
==================
Yes he should go home and watch. It is so obvious he is trying to answer as defense! I also remember reading FBI even knows where the body laid in the trunk, evidence on wheelwell for spare. Now wouldn't that mean they know the aproximate size of the body? If only say 3 ft. it would be a child unless someeone in their family is a midget.I read this once and never saw it again. Not another Garagos please.....IMO

P.S. cadaver dogs have been around for years. They are specially trained to track Human cadavers, nothing else. One can visit The Body Farm and read up on all of this, good articles on hair also, not to forget decomposition..

During the previous hearings, Fox News Network started with it for a few minutes, but it could be streamed live also. I streamed all the hearings, which is nicebecause you have them for later use.

:rolleyes:I've done the same with most of the reference, docs., etc.

With break from a lot of new news r docs I've been going back to review from the start(video, docs etc.). :waitasec: I've been surprised of some details that seemed minor before now make me go :waitasec::waitasec::waitasec:!

So.....it's possible that KC was toting around suicidal squirrels in her trunk??

I don't think "two dead squirrels crawled up under the hood of Casey's car and died there"-- primarily because dead squirrels don't crawl and also because, well...:waitasec:

But! If this is in re: to the discussion above, I asked TURBOTHINK to substantiate the claim that the FBI Report "ruled out" animal decomposition because I think the FBI Report is being misconstrued and overstated all over the place. These misconstructions are being inculcated as facts. Erroneously, IMO.
I see countless posts asserting that the FBI report concludes the hair sample could belong only to Casey or Caylee. I see countless posts asserting that the FBI Report explicitly rules out animal decomposition. These are not facts. Such statements are, IMO, misconstructions of the actual information contained within the FBI report.

I know you were probably just making a snarky aside :), sorry I had to bootstrap this post in here because the 400 Lb. Gorilla thread is gone and I await TURBOTHINK's reply. :woohoo:

I recall that during one of the searches cadaver dogs hit on animal remains.

I didn't get that at all. Can you tell me where that came from? By the way,go back to where you came from, we are talking about you!

Now why would anyone want to talk about little old me?

Let me see if I can find the thread about the dog hitting on animal remains. I remember a bunch of us were here waiting on pins and needles for LE to say what the dogs had found.

  • #99
I remember hearing that some where ....maybe TV....or on another site...but it was a dog that one of the search teams was using....and I do not believe they were with TES either...and my not have been one that has been trained like the LE dogs are....

something like that awhile ago.....does that make since...Im getting really sleepy...
