I'm hoping this doesn't sound insensitive to Nancy... but does anyone know where the dog is and how it's doing?
I have been waiting for someone to ask this! Anxious to see responses because I can’t make that align in my mindI am confused by the timeline. The doorbell camera went offline at 1:47, yet a person was detected at 2:12? This is either an error or refers to two different cameras.
I think they should say "movement detected at 2:12 and aren't sure if it is a person or animal" - just my opinonI am confused by the timeline. The doorbell camera went offline at 1:47, yet a person was detected at 2:12? This is either an error or refers to two different cameras.
I can see some value in releasing the timeline details they have released. For example, if this perp is a relative or associate of someone who has worked for NG in the home or on the property and the person who worked for NG has been having some "feelings" that his or her relative or associate is involved, then knowing some precise critical hours when NG was taken might spur them to call LE.Should they be giving all these timeline details to the public??
my notes state the same. he def said person and then went on to say it could be an animal.More from the FBI agent, less from the sheriff please
This is what the sheriff said about that (I was typing while he was talking)
"2:12am software detects person on camera but no video available. no subscription"
Sounds like we're saying the same thing.definitely no....not for me. searching through over 200 threads to try and find what you want is just not...working at all. You're right though, there's no one way that will make everyone happy.
In that case, he would definitely say they couldn't go into it.The point in asking that question would identify if they were looking at anyone. If they liked someone in particular.
Yea, as soon as I saw that "laid in wait" Same.Ugh, having Jennifer Farber Dulos flashbacks.
5 minutes is far from a long time. JMO .
I like him calling reporters Monday morning quarterbacks over and over.He is! I just prefer the "short sweet & to the point" style of the FBI agent.
in this case, I think whoever sent it, took extra steps to not be found or traced.MOO
I feel for the famiky. If the ransom letter is even kind of credible, do they pay up? Risk losing all that money to a fraudster, without getting their mom back?
Normally a ransom letter is a guaranteed scam... but... in this case?
JMO
Much better today.I actually think the sheriff is doing a good job. This is a huge and complicated investigation that’s happening under the media microscope.
I’m probably just misunderstanding how the tech works but if a camera is offline then how did it detect movement?I think they should say "movement detected at 2:12 and aren't sure if it is a person or animal" - just my opinon
It just stood out to me for some reason.I'm not sure why the path an abductor took has to be the same one NG would normally take? She's not going to say "I prefer to go in and out through the garage". I think it's as simple as... She entered that way when she was alone that evening, and he ushered her out through the front door. Plus, he can easily close a front door behind him. Closing a garage door usually takes a remote.
One way was easier for her, the other way was easier for the abductor. JMO on all that.![]()
I completely agree - I wish someone there would realize this and ask for clarification because it isn’t making sense to me at all… and seems like a fairly important aspect of the timelineI am confused by the timeline. The doorbell camera went offline at 1:47, yet a person was detected at 2:12? This is either an error or refers to two different cameras.
Are yours in use or retired? My home is on septic and the "lid" is a small slab of concrete that can be lifted. But it is not buried. Otherwise, they would have to tear the yard up whenever it's emptied. Perhaps it depends on local codes. So, in that area, are the lids ground level and not buried? I guess I assumed all septic tanks were buried several inches in the ground which all ours have been and a bobcat or backhoe was needed to removed lots of dirt to reach the lid.
