that's why I'm wondering if this is a faked kidnapping and the inheritance is the real goal...with the possibility of ransom cash.

serious kidnappers would put her on the phone and give a serious proof of life, because they want that bitcoin.

waiting for a new ransom request.
i seriously don't get the impressing that NG is loaded..... i don't know what she did as a job to raise her kids once she was widowed.... but i've not seen anything that leads me to believe she's rich.

her home is valued at a million BUT it was apparently purchased for $85,000 YEARS ago based on posts early in the thread.

do i can't see where HER money is the motivation for ransom.....

SA is never about s3x, but control.
Absolutely! I posted this earlier, but it's probably buried over 100 posts back, so please forgive me if you've read this before...

About a month ago, I was listening to an FBI Profiler. Astonishingly, she said that if an elderly woman living alone is raped/murdered, it's more likely than not a neighbor's teenage son.

Maybe Nancy faked her own disappearance to run off with a secret lover and is now sipping frozen drinks on a private beach.

Just trying to come up with something less daunting

So many pages of posts, so many details. And lots of non-details!

The person who hurt/toom NG could have been in the house WAY before 1:47. That time and the 2:12 could have been after the fact/ converging tracks.

Ransom doesn't see legit if they set a deadline and still made no contact.
Yup. There are only really two options:

Someone did this to throw off the investigation.

Someone is trying to cash in.

At the very least, you'd expect a real abductor to reach out to the media again offering some semblance of proof of life.

Maybe it's just me, but what kind of ransom note says send the money by 5 pm Thursday or else.....or Monday. This whole thing is very odd.

Yes, THIS! I'm sure she hated the fact that she wasn't able to walk very well, so my theory is that she insisted on taking an Uber. That would also be a way to exercise your independence.
I was thinking the same thing and maybe she got friendly and had the same Uber driver for things she needed to do.

Interesting!
ETA perhaps this together with the bitcoin request would impact the age range of the perpetrator?

I mean, supposedly the ransom note included a bitcoin wallet address. So the ransom could have been paid without any contact, and maybe that's what they wanted. It's not as if contact would have been needed in order to comply with the demand.

Tricia said yesterday this Tiktok was allowed from this forensic scientist, former CSI, blood stain spatter specialist yesterday so bringing i it up again for anyone who might have missed it.

It's about the blood outside and it's quite interesting, IMO.

Thank you for this. Very interesting.

I think the Ransom note is just a complete hoax - if it was true then I believe once it hit the media (about 48 hours ago now?) there would quickly be a ‘proof of life’ sent. This is an 84 year old women who requires medication to control health issues.. she would also be under huge stress.. I don’t think time is really on ‘the abductors side’

I also don’t think if you was abducting somebody you’d notice that a smart watch was left behind.. This information was released in the media prior to the note imo.

I think the FBI person played it clever by reporting an arrest for a hoax letter.. I think this will send the other ransom note author into a panic and they likely will never hear from them again MOO

So I am fairly sure some of the homes in this have cams to the outside. I haven't seen any news regarding looking at door cams of neighbors etc.

I can see how an abductor may not want to contact out of fear that LE will catch a lead. If you're abducting people to get a ransom payout you'd do everything to ensure you get paid. If the ransom was an afterthought by the actual abductor then this is a completely different profile of a criminal. Just something about it is odd.

Real real estate values are not what they seem to be. Even if her property is estimated to be worth 1 million USD, it does not record until the property has sold for 1 million.

Issues. Properties are spaced apart, and many are set back from the road, and kind of offset.

So there's a long distance between cameras and roadways, and there tends to be desert brush in between.

TMZ is live on CNN right now. Says they think the person is local to the area that took her. The person noted the exact location of her Apple Watch.
