I have searched everywhere and cannot find it any videos on YouTube or anywhere else of them saying this can you please provide the link.
I couldn't find anything new on TMZ, I think it's old news tbh.

WS changed things up and now threads just continue.

moo
I know. I made my thoughts know though separate thread for talking about it. It drives me nuts.

Harvey explained on TMZ that the note says if the ransom is paid they would bring NG back within a few hours. He extrapolated a driving radius of how far that would be based off that time and made a map (see pic attached). That's what Harvey came up with. Take it for what it is, I mean it's TMZ.

If this is the case why are they towing the car from Nancy's home?
I'm lost.

I feel like the FBI has taken over at this point? And they are doing their own... MUCH BETTER.. search of the home.

IF they think she was taken across state lines, wouldn't this automatically become a Federal case?
I think given the notoriety of the case, the FBI bring involved was inevitable.

Maybe they think it was someone who had been in her car recently but I’m leaning more toward just covering bases at this point

I'm about to vent a spleen here.

If this car is in any way connected to her disappearance, Sheriff should go ahead and put in his papers for retirement.

I'm no math whiz, but that crime scene has been held and released X3 already, by my last count.

I can hear the defense's claims of evidence being planted ringing in my ears already.

JMO.

I’m hopelessly and helplessly a million pages behind and won’t be able to catch up until I get back to New York ( if the plane isn’t canceled due to weather).

I saw this post though as I am hurrying through. I agree it seems like a strange thing to say in this context of literal real life and death.

I wonder if perhaps, in the ransom note which we have not read, maybe Savannah was instructed by the kidnappers to say this? Some kind of coded language that is supposed to be a message back to the kidnappers?

Just speculating.
I thought the same thing while listening to the video. Very intentional

IMO a random, unknown bad guy, didn’t have access to NG vehicle.
nope this will likely end up being committed by someone close to the victim it seems

From Google:

Forensic automobile searches and driving history analyses leverage data from a vehicle’s onboard computer (Event Data Recorder/Black Box), infotainment systems, and state records to reconstruct events, locate individuals, and investigate accidents. Experts can extract GPS, speed, braking, and phone usage, while
MVR Online or TransUnion provide official driving records.
Key Aspects of Vehicle Digital Forensics
  • Event Data Recorders (EDR/Black Box):These systems record critical data, including speed, braking activity, steering angle, and seatbelt usage for a few seconds before and after an accident.
  • Infotainment & GPS Data: Modern cars store navigation history, frequently visited locations, connected device data, and phone call logs.
  • Advanced Data Extraction: Techniques like in-system programming (ISP) and "chip-off" (removing memory chips) can be used to recover data if the system is damaged or encrypted.

because one thing has nothing to do with the other. Harvey/TMZ is going off an email and choosing to believe the info in it is legit--which it may not turn out to not be true at all. No one knows what is really what yet.

I want this to be a successful ransom received, victim released but it doesn’t make sense to me. Why wouldn’t they leave a ransom note in the house for her family to find when they check on her? Tell them to not contact the police and pay the ransom and then it’s done with no publicity? The ransom note doesn’t sound like it’s some type of “manifesto” that the writer would want media attention for…if someone is all business, a professional criminal, why would they wait days and then send the ransom to news stations? Is the name of the game in ransom not discretion?
