Any thoughts on why the second communication didn't go to TMZ and the NBC local affiliate, it only went to KOLD?
Your guess is as good as mine. Why not all 3 stations? or why not KVOA, the local NBC affiliate that she worked for when she lived here? We all know something is weird and something isn't right of course, but it's just....totally bizarre to me

Really? Why are we investing belief in a guy that runs a celebrity gossip site?
Because he runs TMZ and he read the note.

Investigators searched the house three times. I wonder if they were looking for anything specific?
My husband, who isn't really following the case, has broached the subject that perhaps her captor/s were in the house waiting for her before she got back home.

Why would NG enter her home via the garage and not the front door? This has been bothering me. The entire garage situation is bothering g me.
There were 2 locks visible in the video's of the front door. That looked to me like a screen door and I'm guessing here that there is a steel door behind that one with a minimum of 1 lock, possibly 2 (door handle and a dead bolt). Unlocking 4 locks takes time. The garage was the easier way.

Did I read NG’s cane was left at her home or did I dream that? TIA

What I was responding to was the post about how the call from the church member is not on the official LE timeline that was produced at the last press conference.
Just musing.
What was NOT said at the PC may have been pertinent.
eg....dodging the "forced entry" questioned
dodging the who took Nancy home
SIL as suspect (everybody is suspect)

Conversely, they did give info we did not know beforehand ...Uber Driver
I don't remember if anyone asked about the church member call, but regardless it was not mentioned. Either because it didn't happen or because it's a detail that they do not want to disclose and have reason not to disclose.

There are multiple locks on the front door. The garage could be opened by her phone. The door from the garage into the home was probably easier to unlock than the front door? Maybe one or two locks? That could account for the almost two minutes everyone keeps talking about before the garage door closes. Plus maybe she has an alarm to disable? I'm so curious about an alarm system that may have been installed in addition to her unsubscribed Nest set-up.

Things that are unusual IMO:

1. Kidnapping for ransom, just generally
2. Kidnapping an 84-year-old, specifically
3. Sexually assaulting and then kidnapping an 84-year-old
4. Sending a delayed ransom note with two different deadlines

Things that are normal or at least normal in some families and are not a sign of some nefarious intent IMO:

1. Entering a home via the garage
2. An 84-year-old living independently
3. Taking an Uber to someone's house if you don't want to drive home for some reason
4. A son-in-law driving his mother-in-law home unsupervised
5. Not walking an elderly relative inside
6. Acting odd while filming a video under unimaginable stress

Not all of the above are necessarily what I would do with my own 88-year-old father, but none of them seems wildly inappropriate to me. The only thing that ever made me raise an eyebrow regarding AG and TC (besides their proximity to the victim and basic crime stats) was the report that it took them an hour to call 911 but even that has now been debunked.

Yes, me too. That whole aspect of the story is fishy to me. I STILL don’t know whether NG regularly attended services every Sunday, or not.
Same.

I've seen insanity on FB, reddit.....I've just tried to distance myself because there's just too much going on. Too many people appear to be unhinged in this day and ago IMO
And greedy, vengeful , uncivil and cruel. UGH. JMO

I have an exercise for those of you who wish to try this. Ask your favorite AI or even internet query the demographics of someone who uses bitcoin, follows TMZ, and knows how to use tools to hide their identity on the internet. Then ask what occupations frequently use those tools. Then be creeped out like I am.

Amateur opinion and speculation
I'm sorry idk what you're getting at plz explain.

I don't know if it's true or not, but I've read that their homes were only ten minutes apart. I would think that if the card game were planned in advance, AG would have picked NG up. No matter how wealthy you are, Ubers are still expensive. I feel there may have been some tension between NG and either AG or SIL and NG might have taken the Uber to confront the other person. A lot of older people have difficulty seeing to drive at night. Perhaps the tension escalated from there?
You'd have to go back to the beginning of the thread and read from there. It was surmised that NG may have came from elsewhere (not her home) then to AG's by Uber for dinner and game. Like maybe she was with other friends elsewhere first. But who knows. The main discussion about the Uber ride prob happened in this thread on Monday or Tuesday. It's also possible her vehicle was already at AG's because it had been previously borrowed. It's also possible AG drove her home in it, then rode back with TC. Or also possible that NG drove herself home. We don't know. It's been stated that many would not want their 84 year old mother Ubering alone. And yes, it's been also stated that many would. It's a week into this, understandable some readers are just coming in, but most all of the info, opinions and timeline is accessible.

My guess... because it was reported on yesterday, widely.

The one went to TMZ around the time of the press conference on Tuesday where it was stated that they didn't have any letters/demands.

Well if that’s true then I can see why she’d go through the garage, no stairs, more room.

I had the same thought...garage would be easier for her, would provide a more even/safer surface for her to walk on than the front entry, she would not have to get out her keys to unlock the front door, etc.

One thing I do wonder is whether or not the garage door had an automatic light inside that came on when the garage door was opened and if so, whether or not that light was working when LE examined the crime scene.

In that case, there would be more risk of being noticed than at night.

ADMIN NOTE:

What DJT has to say about this case is allowed. As with any source, it is up to members how much weight to apply to the information provided by any allowed source.

Just stick to discussing what he has to say that is directly related to Nancy's case and forego any/all political commentary.
