curious if there would be any proof of life or what response would be if a nominal amount like $10 was sent. Somebody liking publicity and power if real. Jmo
Aphrodite said she will be back on the board later tonight. I will ask her to provide the information about the forced entry.Where is the link to a forced entry? As the sheriff has reported to the media that they won't be disclosing this

Either it's a standard script that FBI uses for this situation, which the writers of Silence of the Lambs used for accuracy, or maybe Annie the writer of the family (with a seemingly morbid imagination, given descriptions of her poetry) was selected by the family to write the statement, and she quoted the movie deliberately.Don’t know if this has been mentioned about the ‘movie quotes’ in SG’s response: sometimes there are family jokes which refer to something one member finds interesting or amusing, phrases from The Godfather, Austin Powers, etc. Could the SOTL quotes be a particular phrase used or enjoyed by a possible POI?
1000%Very rapid developments last night...
Very quiet today...

I believe it's coming.

They should probably pay it. Hell, NBC should secretly pay it. NG comes back, SG comes back, Today Show ratings go through the roof. I don't mean to be flip. Just that, they have the means, at this point, do you just take your chances. The DT comment about "a solution" was an odd choice of words, but who knows, he likes saying words. It actually did make me think for the first time that Nancy could still be alive. I don't know. This whole case is off the rails. We may never know.Harvey Levin did an interview with Mark Geragos an A Lister defense attorney. He knows how these guys think. He said family just needs to pay the ransom and hope for the best...without proof of life. I tend to agree. Otherwise nothing may happen at all...NG is killed and the kidnappers may never be found. She might be dead but I don't think they have much choice.
Wow! The most important information here is that they are canvassing the area between the two houses.
My point of view is colored by the fact that I have a lone brother in a sea of sisters. In any emotionally charge situation my brother is the least likely to speak and if he is pushed to do so he chooses few words and refrains from showing emotion. When I saw NG‘s son’s plea, my own brother’s way of responding was the first thing that entered my mind.I thought the plea by her son yesterday was luke warm at best. I would have expected a former military guy, career National Guard is what has been said, would have spoken more man to man..
Typically, sexual assaults committed against elderly women are most often perpetrated by men in their teens or early 20's, and tend to be neighbors and live locally. I can't fathom an assault victim who also might have been fatally injured during an attack would be taken from the home under any circumstances. For what reason?I've lurked around and researched old threads on here for awhile but I've never been able to jump on WHILE a case was unfolding.
This is a wild situation. Personally, I'm starting to think the ransom/kidnapping & disappearance are two different crimes being committed, with the ransom for a kidnap return just being someone attempting to take a really unsavory advantage of a sad situation.
Something I saw mentioned a ways back, who knows how far, but sexual assaults on elderly women do happen more than we'd like to think they would. Elderly women don't strike people as "sexually appealing" but we know rape isn't about sex, it's a violent crime of power. For someone who maybe has not previously acted on their desire, an 84 year old woman with a pacemaker and mobility issues is a bit of a "wounded gazelle" in terms of potential victims. Not saying that this is the case here, obviously JMOO but a beginner predator who perhaps had previously encountered NG (whether tangentially known as someone who worked on the home or for NG) may have entered with one crime in mind, a sexual assault, and the next thing you know, between being off balance and blood thinners, bad heart, etc. suddenly someone is deceased...it would not shock me at this point. But the timing of that first ransom demand, the repeat with no new demands, and then ultimately sending it to TMZ? I think that may truly be a different sicko taking advantage of a sad situation.
thank you! i found it. That was quite the rabbit hole to go down, that man is deeply upwellPosted screen shots above![]()
Thank you so kindly for coming back to update and clarify what you’ve learned. Sending so much love to all of Nancy’s family and friends. I am adding my prayers for her safe return.First of all, I want to apologize for jumping the gun regarding the white van being found. I got that tip from a valued source this morning, but all these hours later, I went back to my source and the tip was walked back. Unfortunately, there's been a bungled investigation, calling to mind "shades of Jon Benet Ramsey" where misinformation ran rampant. In fact, it seems Donald Trump was also jumping the gun yesterday when he suggested that information from the FBI or DOJ "could come out soon," hinting that a suspect had been identified. That comment was made over 18 hours ago, with no follow up -- yet. All of this leaves us in the dark, hoping that sophisticated FBI devices will be able to identify Nancy's abductor.
LET ME ADD THIS: Savannah is a person of faith who has total belief in the power of prayer. In fact, in 2024, she published a bestseller titled "Mostly What God Does," describing how her faith helped her during the most difficult times in her life. OF COURSE she and her family are praying and believing that Nancy is alive, and why would anyone want to squelch that hope?
At the same time, the intense focus on this case, fueled by the combination of celebrity, crime, and mystery, has become a national obsession. We have not seen this much media coverage since the O.J. Simpson case, and it makes sense that the public wants to help. There ARE signs of forced entry into that house, and many of Nancy's neighbors fear there's a killer on the loose. And meantime, LET US PRAY.
I believe they took her car away..which begs the question, how did they transport her (If she was taken) and did they check tyre marks and cctv for cars at that time?I’m thinking forced entry may have been from the door inside the garage to the house. I think the perp may have snuck inside the garage when NG was brought home that night. He waited until he thought she would be asleep. After he confronted her he opened the front door and leaning out he disabled the doorbell camera. He then drove her away in her car perhaps after smashing another camera first. The roofing idea is also on my mind. Perhaps that one camera smashed was an oops I accidentally broke it not. The camera on the pool house may have been disabled on purpose while work was done.
Exactly, I have a lot of older people in there 80’s in my life and they would absolutely open the door in the middle of the night. In a safe area, wanting to take care of people. It’s not beyond comprehension.Oh you know I never thought of her opening the front door, once inside, but then it's seemingly locked again.
Would the ransom note composition be recorded or monitored anywhere? Could the company that runs the AI contact LE and say they saw someone use their software for a purpose that looks suspicious due to certain details related to NG and it was used before it was sent to the news stations?Legit question. Grok, write me a ransom letter that would be untraceable of any emotion or clues for an elderly lady kidnapping and plot out my strategy to avoid detection....ever.
That may be true; however, it's interesting that they're canvassing the area between the two Guthrie homes. If the SIL isn’t involved, AB will be in a boatload of trouble, career wise, reputation and financially. She would have to believe without any doubt, what she was told is the absolute truth. She cannot backpedal because of the harm caused emotionally, financially, mentally, physically, spiritually. Her own security could be compromised.
I've been theorizing similar to you. Though I was considering NG to still be alive when the car pulls into the garage. And possibly when they leave the home too.
Also, yes pacemakers often have to be turned off after death, this can be done with a magnet. But it's stated she had a pacemaker app on her phone, theres also things like Life Alert. LE likely has way more data than we know.
Car pulls into garage with occupants, door shuts. Then we have no idea what's going on in the home until the ring cam disconnects in the early AM. I'm very curious when anyone last saw Nancy prior to this family get together.
I don't really understand why they will not confirm if it was forced entry or not? Surely if it was not forced it kind of eliminates who could have done it?I’m thinking forced entry may have been from the door inside the garage to the house. The camera on the pool house may have been disabled on purpose while work was done.
i don't like the guy but at this point I think behind the scenes if that last message had any info to confirm they have NG they might be making some moves to pay the ransom.oh lord Mark Geragos LOLOLOL. Too many memories of him
Wouldn't that be something!?!I was already thinking DJT maybe already DID pay it, and they are not telling.
I can think of various reasons why he would.I was already thinking DJT maybe already DID pay it, and they are not telling.
So glad you are saying that. If anyone here has a history of accuracy with case predictions, it's you, @MassGuy .I've never followed a case this complex, but I have followed countless cases. In doing so, it's easy for me to gauge where law enforcement is with an investigation.
Not only am I not seeing an indication that they are lost, but I'm seeing the opposite. We're not seeing all the things we usually see when that's the case.
Press conferences have become more sporadic, no regular press releases, and they're not asking for tips about vehicles or persons of interest.
I see a focused homicide case.
I would think maybe SG is too busy and lives too far to be trustee. It could be a family lawyer or bank trust company to have a professional and neutral trustee. Especially if NG gets money from it to live on and for healthcare needs, I think someone local and with more time would need to manage and disburse money. But yes I'd also assume SG is not standing to get much money upon NG's passing. Jmo.I would guess with her impressive income SG has probably removed herself purposely from any monetary interest in NG’s trust? I’m sure SG’s only interest would be in sentimental items. I am also guessing either SG or her brother are the executor of the trust.
