Picking her up to come to the restaurant with them would also have given them an opportunity to take her home. Taking an Uber there means nothing when it comes to that.
Call me confused, but I thought the dinner was at AG's home.

who is this
It is a youtuber known as JLR. You can find a Wiki about his quite sordid past online. I get the sense posting his videos and content here is discouraged for those reasons.

I get the impression that it was never confirmed that the ransom writers had NG.
Nothing specific, just that they had her, won’t answer questions.

First ransom note, they said that it would be their only communication, yet they did send through another note Friday am, still nothing specific, just send money by monday. No proof of life in either note.

I think SG’s words that they would pay, are for the slim chance that family would get the body back.
It would be helpful to have the entire message. Then we would know for sure what, if anything, the abductors included as proof of life or confirmation of possession.

What do we think of when someone says proof of life in a kidnap situation? What do we think of when someone says ransom note? Usually it's things that have come before in kidnappings. This kidnapping seems to be throwing all the preconceived notions out the window of the past and right into kidnappings of the future. No more cut and paste ransom notes (unless you use Adobe Acrobat to digitally create a selective font cut and paste note); no more tied up in a chair with a dated newspaper photos; no more phone call verification of life; no more leaving the money in a trash can at such-and-such location. This will either become a future blueprint and trend or it is a completely out-of-the-box one-time kidnapping.

Wow, this does change things then.

So you're saying that they'd only have the data from the last interrogation, and it's entirely possible something could have happened to her much earlier?
I can pull up limited data in the app. It shows the date/time of past interrogations. Mine are usually around 1:30 am or thereabouts. If the interrogation is successful I can see if my pacemaker recorded any anomalies or concerning events.

If Ms Guthrie's pacemaker sent a data pack the previous night at 2 am the only thing you'd see in the app is a successful transmission the previous night and a disconnected/failure on the night in question. There is no data in between.

Brian Entin of News Nation reported flashes in the garage that indicated it.
Fair enough. Flashes to me only indicate a camera is being used - nothing else IMO.

Wow! Thank you for sharing this. I've heard LE say that her wallet and phone were left behind at the house. It's been mentioned a lot that she is in pain and needs medication. I wonder if the pain medication was left behind at NG's house as well and pills counted? Could the perp been looking for prescription drugs?
I still content that if the plan was to kidnap her and hold her for ransom, they had know that someone of this age would most likely have meds they need. So they might have left the bottles, but have taken some meds to get her through the time they needed her.

Maybe maybe not.
SG may have felt that keeping a united front took precedence ?
imo
Totally agree - at this point I assume the siblings may be being told different information, as well.

Also re: the son - I would not let the police talk to my minor child in any situation, certainly not without me and a lawyer. It's possible SG feels the same way and because of that isn't second-guessing her sister's parenting decisions.

MOO

how can the family be staying in this house with all this stuff going on.
I feel they must be somewhere else.....
Massguy already posted something confirming they are not staying there anymore.

Newsnation saying that Savannah and siblings were at Annie's house but now they aren't there due to all the media prescense.

The problem here is that the whole family is hunkered down there, the brother and their famous sister. They obviously do not think they are murderers.

While I of course don't know which way this will turn out... and all of this is just MHO...

There are some major problems with the SIL theory. It would be a complicated crime, drop off and then return un-noticed by your wife, leave no trace for LE to find. Every part of their story is easily checked. If they lied about anything so far, LE would be questioning them at the station, and their family would not be holding hands in those videos. They would need to be in on this together. They don't seem to have the technical background to evade the FBI in a bitcoin for body scheme. They might or would be expected to know the cameras have no subscription, so why destroy them. They cannot be sending ransom notes from that house.

Alternate explanations: FBI has set up communications tracking equipment in the home in case the kidnappers contacts them there. That is a lot of the cases we see going in and out. They are there as adjunct security for SG. They took pictures of the car to make sure it isn't any of the cars they are seeing on video. Some of the items from Nancy's home were removed and are now in Annie's home, like her purse, keys, phone and LE is examining them there. There is other communication with the kidnappers we are not privy to. I can go on and on.
But the family is not hunkered down there. They’ve been in a different location.

And they didn’t just take pictures, they took both cars.

In my scenario- with SIL as perp, they stage scene to make it look like a kidnapping. Took cameras for that. They had to have known of the camera on roof but didn’t take it, because they knew no subscription and they had already set the scene enough. Why leave a back door open for any other reason? In my scenario, they planted the watch and blood.

A ransom note only required a VPN. They can use the website contact form and VPN anywhere. Bitcoin wallet is anywhere. Both are writers. Both are local as Harvey Levin pointed out.

In retrospect, it makes the most sense, absent motive for me, but in plenty crimes I see no motive.

I do think evidence will be research on how to do things recovered from phones.

IMHO, it would be difficult to stage blood droplets without using an anticoagulant during collection; there would be evidence of something like EDTA found, even if the human source was on blood thinners which only slow clotting.
Also, wasn't there discussion of the droplets containing sputum? That makes me feel these droplets were likely deposited from NG directly.
Do we have any timeline for when these droplets occurred?
Just my opinion--
We don’t know when the droplets occurred, but Brian Entin’s video - which shows them - was posted on February 3.

Would it be normal for this to happen at odd times, and not a specific time on the dot?

Just a warning that AI isn’t entirely accurate. It was giving me funky results on the Guthrie case, so I had to go do the research myself.

True story: I was asking ChatGPT about the date of death for Rob and Michelle Reiner - on January 9th - and it told me that they were very much alive! I have screenshots. Despite the deluge of news stories about their untimely murders, AI was telling me they were alive.
I understand, but it's ok for a collation of various news articles. I did find one AI that said that "There was no evidence to say t was locked" However, when looking at the 4 articles suggested, they do not mention the door and looking through 6 pages, nothing is mentioned. Do you have any? I wonder if it's my search engine. I can't access the DM as its behind a pay wall, and I'd rather not pay money to that particular tabloid. Many thanks.
