A person could easily pass through the opening. Removing the lid is a matter of ease, a few bolts and it's off. BTW, I'm very knowledgeable when it comes to on site septic systems 👍

Edit to add, many new systems have more than one tank underground.
Thanks statt.
So it would be fairly easy to dispose of various types of evidence from a crime scene it sounds like.

That’s interesting—I do wonder how someone at NGs church would have had AG’s contact information so readily available then (if the calls even happened). I thought they might have attended the same church, this congregants knew both mom and daughter. I assume they first would have called Nancy’s phone and then her daughter so it was prob pretty easy to confirm if the call was false. Which I think it was.
How do we know for sure AG attended Episcopal church (St. Phillip’s?)? Is there a source for this information? IMHO AG doesn’t seem like a churchy person.

Couple of comments in relation to random posts: Perhaps Nancy changed churches during/after COVID and it was a member of this new church who contacted AG. That might account for not having the service at her pre-COVID church. As for the Guthrie Nevada Corporation, established, it was posted, in the year her husband died, Nancy may have originally purchased her house through the corporation, which some people do for the sake or anonymity or tax or estate purposes. The "president" could be the lawyer who helped her establish the business (which may well be an LLC).

Metal detectors looking for Apple watch or pacemaker? JMO
They have her Apple Watch. Who knows what they are looking for...a weapon maybe 🤷‍♀️
It's lunchtime on Super Bowl Sunday, lots of reasons for someone not to be home.
or bc it's earlier out there, could have gone to church/lunch

One thing I got from Brian Entin video a couple of nights ago.....the fact that they are not using lights to do night search. He had a guest on that I think is retired from LE and he mentioned that the Sheriff would not go against the light ordinance but he could. Seems like nightime is being wasted for any searching.
The guest was from Border Patrol. Since he's a federal officer, they can atuomatically override local ordinances.

However, I assume the sheriff could, if he requested.

The “mystery man” looked like he was wearing a badge of some kind on a lanyard. Any info on wjat it said or if it was an id of some kind?
that 'man' was an investigator, not any person they were looking for.

Pacemaker + Apple Watch;

How They Work Together
  • Heart Rate Monitoring: The Apple Watch uses optical sensors (photoplethysmography) to track heart rate, which is useful for patients with pacemakers to ensure their heart rate stays within desired, doctor-prescribed ranges.
  • Activity Tracking: The watch helps monitor daily activity levels, which is useful for patients whose pacemakers are programmed to adjust heart rate based on movement.
  • Irregular Rhythm Notifications: The watch can alert users if it detects heart rhythms that appear to be atrial fibrillation (AFib).
  • ECG Feature: The ECG app can record a 1-lead electrocardiogram. However, if a pacemaker is actively pacing, the ECG may be "confused" by the electrical signals from the pacemaker, often leading to inconclusive results.
  • Data Sharing: Users can share heart rate data and ECGs with their cardiologists.
This is very helpful. Thank you! I've had an Apple Watch & iPhone so I had a general concept of it.

But the attention that's being paid to one of them "disconnecting". Is that just being "un-paired"? I don't think I was ever far enough apart from my phone if I had my watch on to know what it does. So are we assuming the watch was taken off then at some point? Separate from it being paired to a phone? Ugh I know what I'm trying to figure out but not how to ask it lol

this has been hashed over before but SG has relationship with her bank and investment people and could come up with that cash in a more speedy timeframe than most. She can and probably has got the cash required together.
I would imagine that with her profile, the bank would advance the funds. Possibly even with additional guarantee from her employer. She could reimburse out of her assets under less time-sensitive duress. Her husband reportedly is wealthy, too.

I'm sure this has been stated before but was the ransom related to the perp but not a real ransom but instead done in order to buy time to cover evidence?

I apologize, but I have searched and read the posts and re-read the posts and the watch/phone/pacemaker connection is something I don't understand. I am not at all familiar with pacemakers and any app/monitoring it would connect to.

Can someone explain how the pacemaker/watch/phone thing works & what it detects & doesn't detect & what it means when it "disconnects"? I mean explain it like I'm 5. Please.
Pacemakers act by sending electrical impulses to the heart to get it to beat the correct amount and is usually used for patients with too slow heart rates. The pacemaker does not need an app or external device to operate but can be used for monitoring reasons (usually so cardiologist can review abnormalities, such as missed beats or too slow or too fast rates) and to see if any adjustments need to be made. The pacemaker works without an app/external device. If someone gets too far from the device, it won’t transmit data anymore (think of a walkie talkie) but is still working to correct abnormalities. If a persons heart stops or they are in an immediately deadly arrhythmia, the pacemaker is not capable of doing anything to improve survivability.

I’ve been looking at the drone footage looking for the location of the septic tank on google maps, I think I’ve found it here circled in red, it’s behind the neighbours house.

We don't know about the validity of the ransom and how it is (or isn't) related to the crime at this point. We can assume by SG and family's video yesterday they think there's a chance it's real, but it's all speculation at this point for us outside looking in. JMO.

The tiny detail in the Nancy Guthrie ransom note that makes FBI experts think the writers aren't even in US

“Why would you use that if you’re a domestic person? That points to somebody who might be potentially outside the country, which also lends the potential for this being a scam,” former FBI agent Michael Harrigan told The Post.

“If you’re domestic, why would you ever put ‘USD?’ You put six million,” he added.

Guthrie’s supposed kidnappers demanded a bitcoin ransom to be paid in “USD” by two deadlines – one at 5 p.m. MT Thursday, with the amount increasing for a Monday deadline after the first was missed.

The note sender has made no contact with law enforcement or the Guthrie family since the note was first sent to news outlets last week, and investigators have not determined whether the notes are real or not.

Our vacation/lake house had a septic tank...that's too big an opening for septic. And the tanks are usually close to the house with the field drains going outward, downhill and away.
Maybe septic design varies depending on geomorphology and climate. The photos do not look like the systems in the Northeast that I am familiar with. Ours has a single square opening, less than a foot wide and the hump for the leaching field you describe. What they're probing in NG's yard has a manhole cover. Actually I see 2 manhole openings. While it doesn't look like septic systems here, I'm in a cold climate with granite ledge. It's probably different in a desert location with caliche.

I'm totally lost. Just logging on.

Watched last night: They towed NG's car
They went do AG's house. Did they tow any cars there?

That's all I know between that and several hundred posts from today.

I don't have time to read all the comments, but it looks like discussion of little details like types of septic tanks etc.

I don't see much referring to specific action in the case that have happened today.
to be honest lots of repetition today as there is really NO NEW NEWS TODAY.

If I were explaining it to a child….maybe a little older than 5 :)

Pacemaker is a little device in the patient’s chest that helps the heart beat steady - it may also have a defibrillator to send a gentle shock if the heart races too fast or dips too low - to get it back in normal rhythm. The doctors need to monitor it from time to time - sometimes monthly and sometimes more often. They can do this when the patient visits their office but like to see it between visits too. An app on an iPhone allows them to do that without the patient needing to hook up to anything or call in like they used to. Typically it will send those reports to the pacemaker provider who will send the reports to the cardiologist who will contact the patient if there is an issue. But there are some things the patient can use it for such as checking their pacemaker battery. The pacemaker connects to the iPhone via Bluetooth so it can become disconnected in the same way any Bluetooth device does - getting too far from it - the phone losing connection to cell tower or wifi - or the phone being turned off or the battery dying.

Hope that helps
THANK YOU! I'm a whole adult I swear but this was for some reason really tripping me up.

So I am assuming we don't know if she got too far, lost wifi, turned phone off & the location of said items.

I think I got it now. THANK YOUUU!
