Transcript:

"Hi there everybody. Um, I wanted to come on and just share a few thoughts as we enter into another week of this nightmare. Um, I just want to say first of all thank you so much for all of the prayers and the love that we have felt, my sister and brother and I. And that our mom has felt. Because we believe that somehow, some way she is feeling these prayers and that God is lifting her even in this moment and in this darkest place.

We believe our mom is still out there. We need your help. Law enforcement is working tirelessly, around the clock, trying to bring her home, trying to find her. She was taken and we don't know where. And we need your help. So I'm coming on just to ask you not just for your prayers but no matter where you are, even if you're far from Tucson, if you see anything, if you hear anything, if there's anything at all that seems strange to you, that you report to law enforcement. We are at an hour of desperation. And we need your help."
Thank you so much for transcribing this. I watched it, but TBH, I couldn't bear to listen. It is just so heartbreaking and reading it is easier at this point.

New article on LE using AI on ransom note. Does anyone have access to article, who is a subscriber?

It would still be circumstantial evidence.
Of course but if you have vast resources, which I believe this case does, it's likely worth a shot. run down the 10 IP addresses that might've hit on that address. See if anything shakes out.

However, I don't have an answer to the question as to whether or not Google can easily retrieve that information

I don’t think you can say that with certainty. There are plenty of documented cases where serial offenders broke into homes, abducted people, and then transported/disposed of the body elsewhere. BTK did this. The Golden State Killer was literally known for home invasions. Israel Keyes abducted victims and moved bodies. So the idea that “a serial killer wouldn’t take the body with them” really isn’t a rule, it’s something that has happened.
Exactly. Another example is serial killer John Floyd Thomas Jr., also known as the Westside Rapist. He preyed on elderly women in their homes. One of his suspected victims, 85-year-old Isabel Askew, was abducted from her apartment and her body was found in a vineyard over a week later.

Quite contrary, IMHO. Something has changed. Seems to me, she has gotten information that the ransom appears to be proven a scam and not related to her mother's disappearance or just as she was about to hit the button on sending $6 million to someone--LE had to let her in on where they are at in the investigation and it's pointing elsewhere like many here have said. She's now in the loop with LE, so to speak.

Ok, so I'm going down this rabbit hole and now LE approaches and says hey wait a minute--here we have x,y,z. After the initial shock, your like ok. I'm composed I know what to to expect next. We need your help finding mom. Yes, I do believe that she's come to terms that this is a recovery effort based on what LE told her. Now, she's appealing to the public to find mom's body. As morbid as that is to write.
That's how I'm reading this latest video.
Fair enough. If she thinks SIL could be involved, maybe appealing to a possible accomplice then? 😔 Idk what to think.

I am hoping Savannah sent this last video because they expect or hope the abductor a will be begin to move Nancy back towards Tucson after the ransom is paid and they want people to be watching out because they could be anywhere.
this is a good point!

The assumption has been 5pm local (AZ) time, which is two hours behind the east coast. But allegedly the note didn't specify. JMO.
TMZ and the local station both reported that the note stated "the final deadline to pay the alleged ransom in the kidnapping expires at 5 PM Arizona time today."

True but, and I'm just going to throw out a random time period, let's say 2 months. So who in the two months before NG was taken, who searched her address. Then you match it up with other queries in the local area and see if the crumbs lead to the same IP address.
I think if you wanted to go down this path, the way I would start is by taking a look at the Pima County Assessor website. Check into who has viewed the records for NG's house in the last 3-6 months. That should be a very small number (for a random house, I would guess zero, or a single digit number — maybe a few more in this case because of her relation to a high profile person). I don't think it's incredibly likely that the perps here would have looked that up; even if they were doing some serious planning, I think they could get most of what they need from Google Maps and Earth. But it's at least something to look into, if you do suspect that it was carefully planned. And I think it's more tractable than going through the hundreds of billions of searches Google does in a week (let alone two months).

Moo… I think Savanna is appealing to the public for help. Many times we see families and law enforcement ask for the public’s help. She is desperate.

My heartbreaks for her. I am happy the family is away from the fray of reporters and cameras. I hope her husband and her brothers wife have been able to join them for support. The next hours will be excruciating. I can only pray for them.

I’m frightened for Savannah.

I like that her tone is a bit less defeatist, but it all still seems so helpless since she’s appealing for help far from Tucson, and from average citizens.

I’d love to see Nancy Guthrie strolling down my block in NYC. I’d call my police precinct immediately while giving Nancy my phone to call Savannah, and then take care of Nancy until they can bring her home.

But that’s not at all what I expect. This call for help from anywhere makes me feel that they still have no good idea as to Nancy’s location, whatsoever.

The tone was imo a mixture of defiance AND desperation. But it was also Savannah not giving up on a successful recovery, for which we all hope and pray.

I am now moving to the possibly they are thinking the ransom angle is unreliable, or they are using public posts as a tactic to flush out whoever is behind it (real or fake). I am lead to believe that her latest plea is acting like a psychological hook. "we believe she is still out there" implies, to me, we don't have proof she is deceased. She is a seasoned journalist, married to a high-level communications strategist, and I strongly feel the recent video from today was coordinated by LE.

This was strategic.

Yes. The first two videos were speaking directly to the "kidnappers" and only them. In this new one she cuts them out completely and appeals to her public for help. Major FU.

My opinion only.
Agreed. But WHY? What changed?

  • #15,077
but they said she went in through the garage
Correct, they being LE. But how did LE conclude that? AFAIK they only know that the garage opened then closed.

  • #15,078
I got a sense that SG is taking matters into her own hands now and is fed up of LE.

Seriously, how can we be getting this from SG but absolutely nothing from LE?! With no perp, what are they doing all day?

  • #15,079
I am more confused then ever.

Please delete if I can't say this, but early on someone else pointed out that AG is hiding her ring finger between her legs during the 2nd video. Did anyone see her wedding ring?
I don’t think anyone knows if she’s actually married or not.
