As of an hour ago, HL of TMZ says the ransom has not been deposited into the Bitcoin account that was in the original ransom email.
SG may mean that Nancy can feel the prayers in the afterlife.

I’m surprised (or not surprised) that they’re allowing people to do that given how many times they keep returning to the property for evidence.
The sheriff's department and private security are keeping people away from sensitive areas.

I’m beginning to believe that this will turn out like Caylee Anthony: NG is going to be found buried/hidden somewhere close by (in NG’s area of Tucson.) SG’s recent announcement sounds like something has changed. Like she hopes someone has seen something out of the ordinary that might lead to a body. Just MOO

Although, according to Ashleigh Banfield, there are higher ups willing to leak information.
That could be? I'm sure certain people like certain attention. I don't watch her and I don't believe that theory but who knows?

I am reminded of the movie, "Spartan," with Val Kilmer. Traffickers snatched a girl from Harvard. Routine for them. EXCEPT it was the President's Daughter and they did not know THAT. So the race was on to rescue the girl before they learned who they had because, with such a "hot potato," there was a fear that they would just kill her to cover their tracks.

Maybe the kidnappers just snatched a rich old lady, not knowing that she was the mother of a national news anchor, and were not prepared for the heat.

Could be too she’s making a plea to return N to the family. If more than one person was involved, maybe she’s trying to get them by saying if you see something, contact LE. I don’t know what to think about this video, the timing for making it was for a reason.
Two videos with SG and siblings. One solo video with brother alone and now SG’s solo video. I’m wondering if SIL or AG are not involved, could it be individuals connected to either one of them?

It's not just about Instagram. The second this post went up, every major news outlet reported on it. Tonight, this will be the lead story on all the nightly news broadcasts. It's already all over Twitter, all over Facebook, and all over TikTok.

Every local affiliate and newspaper will also be broadcasting/writing about this.

I get your point with focusing on the outlets in the immediate area and surrounding regions, but you're going to have a similar result, only in reverse.

There's a ton of resources on this, and law enforcement knows how to prioritize tips, ie, people saying "I saw this online," as opposed to "I saw this that night."

The latter is what they'll focus on.

Indeed. It's the first time we've seen her utilize her platform in this way in this case (and thankfully she is!). She was being managed before. What has changed?

This just doesn't happen in America, not to low risk victims, and certainly not to the family members of high profile people.

You won't know for sure unless you read it. But if you choose to read it, it is rude to then complain that you had to scroll down 26 times. The first couple of scrolls would be sufficient to see if you are interested in the content or not.

I get that you were frustrated by either the content or the format. All I am suggesting is to be kind to others who post content you find engaging enough to read. If you don't appreciate the format or the content, you can offer concrete suggestions, counter opinions with your own, or just move on. If you find a post engaging enough to respond to, it's worth saying whatever you want to say in a respectful wall.

This disappearance is vexxing and nerves are frayed. Let's hope for Nancy and the family's sake--and all of us hoping for the best--that resolution comes soon.
Thank you, we are all only hoping that NG is safe and will be returned soon.

I think SG's message today was to let the ransom-note writer know that he's not getting the money because he hasn't held up his end of the deal. He hasn't communicated about NG and the family is letting them know they will search for her without going through the kidnapper.

He has a few desperate hours to contact them if he's really the kidnapper. Otherwise, moving on.

I fear this case has been botched from the get go.

The State Police should have been brought in IMMEDIATELY to help with this case. This tiny agency is not equipped.

Both Nancy’s AND Annie’s properties should have been sealed off as crime scenes. NO MATTER WHAT. Those were the last supposed places Nancy was seen alive. All vehicles should have been seized.

Then ALL the family members should have been dragged down to the police station and DRILLED. Questioned. Proved their timeline by providing corroborating evidence. Taken polygraphs, etc.

All electronic devices should have been seized.

All vehicles should have been seized.

And should have been done for purposes of elimination. Eliminate the family first. Then work out.

This is LE 101

These “statements” about driving Nancy home, at what time, by whom, and what exactly happened at the drop off don’t make any sense. Was it just the SIL? Was it Annie & the SIL? How does an 85yo woman with SERIOUS physical limitations get into her garage in 2 minutes? There should be history on that remote opener to show the average time it takes her. 2 minutes just seems way too short.

Crime scene experts should have gone over BOTH properties with a fine toothed comb. As well as all vehicles. These were places that Nancy was confirmed to be.

That first critical 48hr window has been lost here because of sloppy police work. And the delay of reporting Nancy’s disappearance.

We are now into the 2nd week and they are just now checking Annie’s house with Luminol. After the family has continued living there? And possibly doing a clean up??

They just discovered there was a camera on the roof of Nancy’s house. What else did they miss?

We have a supposed ransom demand that has not been confirmed legitimate.

My questions are these:

1. Why haven’t the family members been eliminated as suspects?

2. Why can’t they confirm the legitimacy of this ransom demand?

3. Why do they keep going back and doing basic things that should have been done on day 1 or day 2?

4. And WHY would the Sheriff go to a basketball game with a case like this going on so early in an investigation? Normally a case is worked by all involved without sleep for days. They’re not going to events. This is a very bad look.

This is heading for a catastrophic conclusion. In more ways than one.
I agree with most of this but I previously explained how it's very possible if not probable that she could capably walk with her assistive device very slowly from a car parked a generous 20' away from the exterior garage door to inside the house through the interior garage door in well under 120 seconds:

I think, and this is JMOO, the usage of IG from the jump has likely been, at least in some part, dictated by the ransom demanders. The risk of "too many tips" is absolutely a real problem LE will have to deal with, but there have been a lot of crimes solved with something incredibly simple sounding. And unfortunately, I don't think anyone other than NG and her kidnapper/foul player knew what she was wearing that night so not shocked that hasn't been "revealed". Plus we are over a week in - those clothes absolutely could have changed.

As far as the IG algorithm goes - who knows what the FBI has perhaps encouraged "tweaking" for SG's posts.

Also, while the initial video is posted to the Gram, it is VERY quickly picked up by all MSM, YT, X etc. so, basically, appears absolutely everywhere.

Yes I understand that part of it - it just seems crazy to me that anyone can access the wallet to see how much is in there. I thought it would be like a bank account where you have to enter your password to see your balance.

This just doesn't happen in America, not to low risk victims, and certainly not to the family members of high profile people.
100% It was more prevalent in the 20th Century but certainly not common anymore.

Me too.
So hope I’m wrong.

The latter is what they'll focus on.

Also, after the last video, lots of media were reporting and chatting that they thought it seemed like the family knew that Nancy had passed.

That is very unhelpful to the investigation IMO especially if it is not the case. Especially if video goes viral.

They don't want the public to give up and stop being alert, because breaks in the case can come from a member of the public - for example - realizing that so-and-so keeps coming back to the pharmacy for heart medication he doesn't need (or whatever).

I think they want to keep everyone's hopes alive, and also in case Nancy is alive and can see them. They haven't given up. JMO.

Maybe Savannah is asking people to be on the lookout so they can report anything suspicious they might see while the perp(s) are preparing to deliver Nancy.

I keep changing my mind about this case.

Maybe there really has been an abduction.

There was a very odd case in my country in 2007. A plot to abduct and unalive a famous pop star reached its final stages. Many people thought the story was BS at the time, but then criminals were found and received lengthy jail sentences.

And in 2023, there was a plot to abduct and unalive a morning show anchor. It was a real plot and the plotter received a significant jail sentence.

These things do happen unfortunately.

What would constitute "proof of life" for the kidnappers to send? A photo could be faked with AI. A voice message could also possibly be faked if they had samples of her speaking.
The only thing inbound id accept as proof of life is a private moment recalled by my mom one that might be very specific and not knows to my siblings and one that i asked the question to my mom. Like what happened that one time before my tounament with the Emergency medical issue? Like my mom responding your front tooth cracked before your tounament and I got my dentist friend to fix it after hours. Im still alive.
