But why would they go back and get them now? Even if they had solved the case I don’t think they’d be focusing on going back to retrieve them. It’s not like they’d put up cameras that weren’t streaming and saving to something.
You never know. If this is what they did, maybe they've got what they were waiting for and are about to make an arrest.

Trump just said on Air Force One that there have been major developments in this case in the last couple of hours and that they are getting closer.
more info from DJT than the Sheriff!!!

Any more developments regarding Banfield’s finger pointing to the son-in-law?

I think this former Navy SEAL commander/hostage negotiator is insightful. Says person is not negotiating in good faith, has shown propensity for violence (NG's blood at front door), and that you basically can't pay without proof of life.
The Navy Seal Commander is correct. In addition to that the family should discuss with a Doctor the chances of NG living this long with out prescribed medication.

When is the last time in modern history with current technology that a kidnapper returned an alive hostage for ransom after 6+ days? Returning a person is the biggest possible risk you can take. As soon as you release her you would be caught.

i read that electrical work had been done since a real estate listing was posted in 2024.

What real estate listing are we talking about here??

although I don't believe we've heard whether or not her medication is missing or still in the home.

I'm sorry.. I can't keep up tonight and read everything right now...

They are saying they found a camera? Is it possible it's one from the front door or back door? And they threw it up there? or out back?

Thanks guys!
They took something down from the side of the guesthouse. We are speculating it was a solar powered camera.

I find myself wondering if NG was targeted in order to get our undivided attention. The perp has something to say and is using SG to convey it - has NG somewhere safe and sound, but has specific demands that must be met. I do not think it is $$$ but rather something that will have to be granted by our govt…? military…? perhaps?
The video plea from the Guthrie siblings seems so scripted, as though they were required to include certain phrases. The AB exclusive may have been a requirement- as a decoy or red herring… I realize this is crazy, but I can’t stop wondering. So far this seems to be completely controlled and directed by the perp(s). We have not been told what the “consequences” are if Monday deadline is not met. We have assumed it is harm towards NG, but may be something else.
My speculation only.
I'm wondering if the cartels are involved in this abduction. President Trump some time ago designated the cartels a terror organization and promised action to stop them.
Interesting to me that he seems to be personally involved in the investigation.
Perhaps the abduction is a message to the administration to back off?
I know, grasping at straws here, but this thing doesn't make much sense.

If it's that interesting, I'm sure it will be covered somewhere else as well.
I’ve not yet seen a Live 1 hour report with current ongoing video and information.

Some really good observations. One more. Could the drops of blood been planted as a diversion? Really careless on abductors part to hit her and leave it untouched IMO.
First, I am truly outraged that the media is showing (presumably) the blood splatter of an elderly woman, Have we really sunk this low as a society? Can you imagine the unfathomable pain that must be causing her family to see that! I am disgusted. As far as why the blood was left where it was, it is likely because the Perp was (again presumably) trying to move a partially imobile, bleeding elderly woman to a vehicle without detection. No time to tidy up.

Who(m) ever they are, I wish their days ahead to be ill fated. Despicable cowards.

Amateur opinion and speculation

I tend to think he has involved himself due to SG’s status in America. Seems she is a long standing, well liked and well respected news anchor/journalist

Did you listen to him? He acknowledges the difficulty that the family faces. He seems to have more experience than you.

Argumentum ad auctoritatem.

Acknowledging the difficulty the family is facing is not the same as giving them sound advice. Advising someone not to pay a ransom when statistics suggest that 90% of paid ransoms result in returned victims is foolish at best and derelict at worst.

JMO.

Exactly. I still suspect the ransom demands are a separate crime not directly related to missing NG. And I hope if this is the case they are found and prosecuted under the full extent of the law. The added anguish they put this poor family through is unimaginable, then the wasted LE $$$$ resources. IMO
