He spoke to Savannah and then surged resources to the area, this was likely done prior to law enforcement having a clear picture of what happened.

So you would expect him to be receiving regular briefings, as he wants to show results.

If it's some random dude or group, I wouldn't expect a statement like what we heard to day.

I don't disagree entirely, but I'm confident those resources would've dwindled substantially by now (or packed up entirely) if the feds didn't suspect that the kidnapping/ransom demand was legitimate. The FBI only preempts jurisdiction if the kidnapping/ransom demands are real and they are born from an IP that is out of state or out of country. Sure, they can assist local and state LE if asked, but if they eventually concluded that the SIL was the likely perpetrator they'd have probably left by now.

And I think I even saw Senator Kelly in casual clothes at the Sheriff's department. Yes, it could be that he's just there for a popular case about a popular family in his state of Arizona, but normally these kinds of things get the obligatory "thoughts and prayers" tweet from a handler in DC and then on to the next matter of Senate business.

Yes, however the most recent timeline by Nanos said "family members' dropped Nancy off. So I'd think maybe one was driving and the other would be helping her inside if they did help her inside.

If the family members who dropped her off turn out to be guilty, it's possible they drove into garage with NG's body in car. Then waited till 1:47am to turn off cameras, and carry her body out front door (gets cut on way out, to explain blood) to new car. Pacemakers will continue to send electrical impulses after the heart stops beating, so I wonder if it's possible the scene of the crime was elsewhere.

My impression is that she called him when she was on her way to Arizona from wherever she currently lives (I assume somewhere in or near NYC).

I don't think this is what happened but it's worth putting out that a few years ago my lyft driver followed me into my house/building unbeknownst to me. I own a tenancy in common with two others in a three story building that has common utility rooms on all floors and the lyft driver hid in this room on and off for hours and entered my house when I left but didn't take anything. My neighbors/co-owners caught him trying to enter their house and immediately watched footage from the cameras and saw the guy creeping around for hours. Police came and arrested him a few blocks away but it was really unexpected and unclear exactly what he wanted. It was also insanely bizarre that he somehow noticed that our security gate didn't fully catch behind me when I entered so he was able to enter after me but he was driving and working so I never considered him a threat. I guess I just think you really never know because the most random things can happen.

Really? If the FBI figured out that this man abducted and killed his mother-in-law, they would just leave and let the less experienced Sheriff deal with it?

They are not pre-empting jurisdiction because the POTUS asked them to come and help.

I don't think they'd walk away. I think they'd gladly take the perp down as fast as they could. JMO

Right, which was a 2 minute time span. And that's why I thought they just pulled up and watched her go into the garage.

Two minutes does not seem like enough time to help an 84 yr old with mobility issues, using her walker or cane.

You'd have to pull into the garage, allow time to go open her car door and help her get out of the car and grab her belongings and cane or her walker, and then slowly walk w/her into her home, turn on the lights, and say good night ... then the driver needs to walk back to their car and pull out.

Right, but 2 minutes is not much time to get all that done with an 84 yr old with mobility issues, imo. And I took care of my mom for several years and I know that everything takes longer when helping an 84 year old move around, etc

Sure, well I was only saying if it were me I'd hop out and help the elderly person to the door.

2 mins can take longer to tick by than we might first think... it appears the times are rounded so garage could've closed at 9.50 & 50 secs, making it closer to 3 mins.

When I mentioned the possibility of someone entering the garage in that time, I didn't necessarily mean that the driver was unaware of this...just considering one of the discussed possible theories.

If Nancy's car was at her daughters house because maybe from a previous visit earlier that week because she didn't feel well enough to drive back then or she ran out of gas or something and so she left it there so her daughter or SIL brought her home that time maybe it would explain her taking the Uber to that dinner.
