I like AB ok, and she is sticking to her story on Meghan Kelly. So she really thinks it’s either TC or someone close to him.
Also, I thought Trump talking about Circle K, Teslas, checking videos for a car they are looking for, was interesting. Plus Yesterday Trump said the investigators are very close.
Lots of clues!
Lets be fair the president says many things that....show he has no knowledge of what is really going on in a lot of situations. I'll leave it at that. I would not expect him to be a reliable source

The problem with that is, to me anyway. They can hide behine secure servers to send a message, but once you add attachments like a picture, video, audio, is that as secure? Yes info can be removed from them, but can the FBI recover that info? I don't know.

Same reason someone wouldn't leave a paper note at the house. That just leaves evidence behind.

All JMO
What i meant is there are so many things i could include in a message that only my family would know (not attachments or pictures, just random facts that would prove it is me that only they would know)

Has Nancy's car been worked on recently? If it has, is there a connection and the car needs to be processed for potential evidence? Remembering the unknown DNA handprint that was connected to a sexual assault in AZ in Suzanne Morphew's SUV. Not that I think it's the same person just wondering about her car being serviced or worked on.

Sadly the sheriff was right, they are Google Nest cameras which are designed to rely on cloud services. They can't be fitted with SD cards.
That information was about the front door and inside camera(s), not about the one they just removed yesterday evening. It is quite possible she had more than one brand of camera.
Because I’m not familiar with the Nest brand I did some research and found their outdoor battery/solar powered models record and save 3 hours of event history WITHOUT a subscription to the cloud service. So even if the one removed yesterday was also a Nest camera, it should have 3 hours of recordings on it. Unfortunately by now those recordings will mostly likely only be police activity. 😩

Please could someone link to or confirm where the white van is mentioned?

Is this the link you were requesting; that the white van has been located? I have highlighted it in red.
If not ‘the first reporting in the thread of a white van’ was from a neighbor who contacted investigators that a white van was observed on NG street or perhaps near her drive way?
<snipped quoted post for emphasis>

All that said, as of this AM, they have collected the elusive white van and as you all know, a second note was sent to KOLD yesterday which has been verified as coming from the same encrypted server. This note apparently made contact with the family, responding to the videos made by Savannah and her siblings. We now have President Trump indicating that officials are close to identifying the abductor or abductors. The horrible thing now, of course, is that we have no proof of life. I PRAY that Nancy is alive after being without her meds for 7 days. It is totally possible. Let's remember that. In fact, billboards are now being put up in AZ and surrounding states asking for the public's help. The hard question now is: WOULD YOU HIT SEND to give millions in crypto to this abductor before the deadline on Monday? If no one is caught this weekend, Savannah will be struggling with the possibility that non-payment could mean death for her mom... MY HEART IS BREAKING FOR HER...

''TUSCON, Ariz. — Neighbors of Nancy Guthrie reported spotting a suspicious white van parked on their street in the days before the 84-year-old vanished.

Guthrie’s neighbor Brett McIntire told The Post on Thursday that he reported the unmarked van to the police, who asked him basic questions about what he observed in the days leading up to the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie’s 84-year-old mother.

“It was somewhere on that street. It was a white van, full-sized, with no printing on the sides. It was parked on the street,” said McIntire, who lives across from Nancy.

“Normally people that are coming to work on your home will have a company vehicle or if they’re independent, something written on it,” the 72-year-old added. ''
So can we stop bashing on Aphrodite Jones now? Good lord.

This is a very good article that details Nancy’s career after her husband died in 1988.

Nancy worked for the U of A from August 1990 until Jan. 1, 2007, first as spokeswoman for University Medical Center and later as associate to the vice president of university advancement.

As part of her duties, she coordinated the Center Stage program, which brought in musicians from the university and beyond to put on monthly lunchtime musical performances at the hospital for staff, patients and visitors. She also served as program director for Medcamp, the U of A’s annual introduction to the medical field for select Arizona high school students.

In recognition of her work, Nancy was elected president of the Southern Arizona chapter of the Public Relations Society of America in 2000.

Retired U of A vice provost Elizabeth Ervin said she was working in marketing and communications for the College of Fine Arts in the 1990s, when Nancy was brought in to help them broaden their reach “beyond our own walls.”

She said Nancy would lead regular committee meetings on how they could improve and expand their messaging at a time when the university’s various departments were doing great things but in an isolated, “siloed” sort of way.

Ervin said she and her colleagues looked forward to those meetings because Nancy kept them upbeat and fun. “She was a good leader,” she said.

You never would have guessed the woman was in the early years of a new career after the death of her husband.

“She was always extremely positive,” Ervin said. “She has an amazingly positive spirit.”

Former reporter Carla McClain said she often interacted with the public relations team at University Medical Center during her career covering health care for the Tucson Citizen and the Arizona Daily Star. She described Nancy as level-headed, accommodating, gracious and “totally upfront.”

She was just great to work with. She understood what my job was as well as her own,” McClain said. “When you encounter good people in life, you know it right away, and Nancy is a very good person through and through. There’s a kindness and an aura around people like that.”

That’s what makes what’s happening now so unfathomable, she said. “This is a woman who I’m certain has no enemies,"

I AM REPOSTING my comment and will check back later this afternoon to see your responses, still hoping that LE will have something new to report later today.

SO -- I've waited before making any comment because I felt we were all rushing to judgement. It's a human reaction to pin the crime on one of the nearest relatives, but it can also backfire. I know Savannah personally, and the last thing I want to do is bring more pain to the Guthrie family. Imagine if your mom was abducted and the public was pointing the finger at you. The sting would be that much greater. All that said, as of this AM, they have collected the elusive white van and as you all know, a second note was sent to KOLD yesterday which has been verified as coming from the same encrypted server. This note apparently made contact with the family, responding to the videos made by Savannah and her siblings. It must be a very difficult decision! One can never know what they would do if put in the position the Guthries are in… but if the ask is 7 mil, and I can say ok, it’s one year salary for us- is that worth it? If I have 10-15 more earning years to make it up I think I would take the gamble. If Nancy is returned it is no doubt worth it! Either way, I would trust the authorities will do all they can to apprehend the ransomers.

Just adding this screengrab from my TV for whatever it’s worth. This shows how close neighbors were, and a general overview of the immediate area around NG’s house and property. I’ve seen many comments elsewhere (not Websleuths) that assume the home is secluded and out in the desert. Local Websleuths have commented that it’s actually quite close to “civilization”. The house seems to enjoy some privacy, but it’s not in the middle of nowhere!
someone posted a map shot of the road closure yesterday and i was shocked at how many homes were in the area! i truly thought that she was like at the base of the catalinas with nothing behind her... just neighbors to the sides and front.

Waldo, how do we know it's 7m? I haven't heard an exact number just several million. Thanks!
good question lmma checking - It popped right out of me so I thought I heard/read it somewhere - did they not specify the amount in cryto?

But the same principle applies to whatever the number is - Yes I would pay the amount if my financial situation allowed. Peace of mind = priceless.

I’m thinking the same. The garage door may have opened and closed again (maybe around 2 am ?) and they left it out of the timeline. The car may have been returned then if borrowed.
Did I read her phone was in the car? Was her pacemaker syncing to that phone?

There was a report that her phone was in her car. I don't know if this has been verified though.

LE has stated that at 2:28 a.m. on Sunday Nancy's pacemaker app shows disconnection from phone.

If Mrs. Guthrie had not turned up missing maybe but under the circumstances the blood appears to be evidence.

I think the family is wise to not touch the property even after release. For example not cleaning the blood, or staying in the home or even the guest house, not gathering there for any reason, until there is some resolution, imo.

If the blood was from a previous incident considering her home appears to be well kept I think it would have been cleaned up pretty quickly by either Mrs Guthrie, if we are to believe she’s fully able of taking care of her tasks, a house keeper, or her daughter who I presume would have been told I had a bloody spell on the front porch I got it stopped but it’s a mess out there.

The front door is used as evidenced by the package.

Also neighbors or friends stopping by she wouldn’t want blood and lots of it out there since she seemed tidy.

I am realizing that many aren’t as involved with their moms like me; we’ve always hung out a lot.

So maybe the routine was the partner drops her off late in the deep dark night and is on his way without a second thought as many seem to think that not unusual.

It may be they are just not that close or involved in her life or don’t want to start any time consuming habits of assistance.

All imo
I agree if it was my mom and I had SG money id have it guarded, blocked off, protected until crime solved...period. I might want to bring in my own Sherlock Holmes if I had to and would want everything preserved.

I am late to the blood spatter discussion, there are so many posts to keep up with!
So sorry to ask a question that may have already be answered.

So we are looking at a force coming at NG on the porch while she was already bleeding. And she could have been standing or lying on the ground?

Or maybe she coughed or sneezed meaning no blow on the porch?

But she could have been injured in the house and then injured again on the porch?
Where on the body would the blood have been coming from?
being on blood thinners it could have come from the tiniest of cuts!

Just catching up here...Her car is important because its being reported that the watch was found in the car. They are looking for perps DNA when the watch was placed in the car. Hopefully they have found a profile for the perp.
i've not see this about the watch being in the car. can you give us a link or tell us the source so we can read this, too?

i can't read much into the blood on steps at front door given NG's medical condition. She no doubt bleeds very easily and could have been just a small cut or bump.
you can see her bruising here in this photo..common in older people who take blood thinners.

Pretty sure Tricia has mentioned Aphrodite Jones books on the Websleuths YouTube channel. She may have been a guest at one time, but I don't remember for sure.

Aphrodite Jones was a guest of Tricia's on the WS Book Club Zoom meeting.
She wrote the book that was our January Book Club selection.
And she is considered an outstanding crime researcher.

the POTUS is not a reliable source of factual information on many things, IMO
I think he has been briefed by the FBI on the latest and as usual he wants the spotlight on him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is the one who announces any breakthroughs in the case. He has done that in the past with many events, bypassing the traditional route/announcer and stealing their thunder.

That damn white van every time…. imo
True. One day, I was walking to my car in my insular little neighborhood, when a pack of local kids came running toward me. "There's a white van going up and down the streets!! " The kids were scared. At that moment, the van came to where I was standing with the kids and stopped. The man was smiling. He knew the kids were scared. I asked him for ID. He was a carpet salesman and had samples in the van. This was about 25 years ago, when people were still buying carpeting. The "white van" has become something of an urban legend.
