As many white vans that are witnessed in crimes, you’d really think we’d have a lot less unsolved crimes in this country. Just look for the white van! 🤣

Eta: Yes i’m well aware it’s the most common vehicle known to man. Just a bit of levity

I have been wondering about that. Usually I would think they can not only match the blood to NG but how old is it? From the description of her medical condition and photos (one with bandaid and one with SG and NG in blue top and her left arm in all bruised...a clear sign that she bleeds easily. It could be from another time and just not gotten it cleaned up yet given she mostly uses garage door?
and not cleaned up because i can assume it would be hard for her to bend over to clean it... and i doubt her cleaners, gardeners, etc are there daily.... i'm glad this "when" is getting some traction.... i mentioned it could have been there for a while a few days ago.

I'm reading between the lines.....It's a "What would you do?"
I wouldn't be surprised if she has been in touch with Savannah....

There was a report that her phone was in her car. I don't know if this has been verified though.

LE has stated that at 2:28 a.m. on Sunday Nancy's pacemaker app shows disconnection from phone.
before this has everyone chasing their tail and we go in circles again.... I think the phone being found in her car is NOT correct.

Her phone was found at her home.

The articles that said 'in the car' said it was said on the Today show on Tuesday (I don't even want to link the articles) I listened to it last night, I heard no reference to 'in her car'.

Link to the today show if anyone wants to take the time to listen to it lol

Let’s be fair the president says many things that....show he has no knowledge of what is really going on in a lot of situations. I'll leave it at that. I would not expect him to be a reliable source
Haha, agreed. Just thought it was interesting him chiming in.

Pacemakers only work (broadcast) within range of just a few meters i recall reading. I cant remember the exact distance but they only have a range of i think 6 meters. Can anyone verify the range they cast?

I wonder if her medication is missing? Did the kidnappers take her meds?

Yeah, but both my 30s daughters know the reference, so do I... TSOTL is more recognizable now than most 90s movies I would think
Teenagers know some of the memes: “it puts the lotion in the basket”, “I’d f*** me”, the lizard tongue thing. TikTok is reviving many old things!

The problem with that is, to me anyway. They can hide behine secure servers to send a message, but once you add attachments like a picture, video, audio, is that as secure? Yes info can be removed from them, but can the FBI recover that info? I don't know.

Same reason someone wouldn't leave a paper note at the house. That just leaves evidence behind.

All JMO
Cyber security PhD student checking in here. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the digital trail (even behind a VPN server) is what might help to take them down. Our federal cyber capabilities are extremely powerful.

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>I question his ability to go to his mother-in-law’s house, stay there for 40 minutes, kidnap and drive her somewhere, return home and sneak back into his home with his wife (Nancy’s daughter) or kids even, not noticing he was missing. Plus he’s been a family member for decades it seems. Suddenly he turns heartless and does this to his wife’s mom? Serious doubts about that. MOO

i imagine that LE was not happy at all with DJT's comments. Really out of line and self serving in my opinion.
i do agree. He always has to say 'winning' things. I think this is terrible for the family to hear. Even if he has been told some "new details", I am sure the family does not need this increased hope and blabbing from all of us about it.
Just not right, for this poor family.
I feel similarly about AB. I do like her tenaciousness, and clarity at times.... but she is just pushing her credibility (with Meghan), and THAT does not help the family either.

It is just NOT about THEM.

I have been consciencely been trying to put myself in the family's shoes. I just feel such dread and pain.... and some personal guilt over all my blabbing about it.

Yeah, anytime I see an unmarked white van, I think what’s going on etc, but it seems to be more common than not one is involved 😉

The only thing is that the first "ransom letter" referenced the Apple Watch's location in the house and it was that fact that apparently led the FBI to at least take the note seriously and consider it. I would think that means that the Apple Watch was in a somewhat not-totally-obvious location in the house, otherwise "her Apple Watch was sitting on the nightstand charging" isn't exactly "only the kidnapper would know" significant information.

That's a good point. I also still don't think SG is an obvious target for money. Yes, she makes on-air talent money. But an estimated salary of 8 million a year isn't an "extreme" amount when compared with hedge funds, finance, celebrities, athlete salaries. I just don't see money being the true motive here. But who knows.

I also don't think it's family. This is way too big of a spectacle. What kind of family member would try to carry off a crime when a close relative is not just a public figure, but national news media. That seems wildly risky. And if someone does get a big bitcoin payoff....how exactly would a known family member suddenly hide their big windfall? Suddenly they have money to pay off debt? Buy nicer cars? Take tropical vacations? Disappear overseas and think no one will notice?

The only reason AG's husband's name has been out there is because AB reported that a LE told her that he "may" be a suspect. Nothing has ever been confirmed. There was a big flurry of comments when it was reported that LE was first seen at AG's house earlier in the week. But then that turned out to be in preparation for the family's first video release. It's definitely shady that the sheriff has suddenly backtracked and is being tight-lipped on who actually dropped Nancy off after the family dinner. But he has also said conflicting info about the church service, what time the family got to the house, how much time they spent looking before calling 911, if the cameras were smashed or not, etc. There's either shady things about the family's timeline, or he purposely is releasing info scattered, or he spoke before having all his facts verified. No idea.
Seems very weird. Either the sheriff is incompetent or deliberately misleading. We do know there was a no-confidence vote for the sheriff.

JMOO---How corrupt could this sheriff be? Could there be involvement? Just missing cameras, not processing the scene correctly, releasing the scene too early---seems to be oddly strange to me. Diliberately done? IDK Just throwing out theories.

My inquiring mind wants to know, if the kidnappers can send a note to the local news station, why can't they also send a generic photo of NG to show proof of life? What would be so hard about that?? I mean, they can print it off and send it along with however they are sending the note or email.

JMO.

Yes, Nancy’s car is interesting, and they may have just found out about front end damage on Nancy’s car, maybe when preps took her to desert to kill, bury her( sorry), driving, no lights on, full moon, hit rocks. They returned car, not sure how they got into garage without an alert, maybe opened door manually?
I know I never leave my house keys on my key ring when I drop my car off for service. The person servicing the car could easily go to walmart around the corner during test driving my car or on his lunch and make copies. My address is right on the paperworkso easy breezy. I see countless people all the time hand over their huge set of keys with not even a thought.

So can we stop bashing on Aphrodite Jones now? Good lord.
Right. Aphrodite is a friend and colleague of Websleuths. And an excellent crime researcher and reporter.

one would think she wouldn't say anything that could expose an investigation or throw someone potentially not guilty under the bus yet that's possibly IMO where we are
agree - I have no respect for AB leaking this info AT ALL unless its sanctioned by LE which it appears it is not but who knows.
I am just relaying what is happening on that front.

AB is not one of my trusted go to people - nor is her friend MegKelly.

For all we know, Savannah is reading this thread, too. Who knows. But this sounds like a what would you do poll. I'm totally creeped out. But that's just me. :)

is it possible that Nancy tried to get into her car and escape? perhaps a struggle in the garage and the watch was removed and and thrown into the car ( if that's where it was ) ? maybe they then pulled her out the front door so the garage door would not be opened throwing light around. I honestly can't stop saying how much this case is giving me JBR vibes.
