I’m a little behind and not sure if it’s been discussed as to why NG’s car was towed last night.
I’m thinking LE saw evidence from a license plate reader or security camera not at the home that it was being driven that night. Why and by whom? Those are the questions.

I theorized that Nancy could have been transported in her vehicle (alive or deceased).

However, we only know of the one opening and shutting of the garage that evening around 10 p.m. when the SIL allegedly dropped Nancy off which leads credence to that story.

If there wasn't more opening/shutting of the garage there is no way that car could have gotten back in to the garage, unless it was taken out at 9:48 p.m. and not returned until the next morning before LE was contacted. And that would be HIGHLY suspicious.

I am still on the fence.

He followed it up in comments to include the act of kidnapping also triggers FBI involvement. I believe the use of ransom notes (among other things) gives them primary jurisdiction as well (at least according to AI).

Im mentioning it from a very technical standpoint because if the attacker knew the pacemakers had a range of contact with her phone, they may have wanted the phone near her while they were moving about the home, possibly placing it in her car as a last thing to do before loading her up. Another technical detail I'll mention since I am going down the rabbit hole is pacemakers ping every second basically. The readon is so at the Dr's office they can connect up to install updates. Pacemakers are actually easy to hack and we studied them in my PhD program in regards to cyber security. I won't go in more detail but as part of a cyber security investigation id want to know every detail. And also if she steps within 7 meters of any hospital or dr office it would pick up her device mac address. So, if it were LE, id get her device mac address and let hospitals and dr offices know to see if they have equipment to pick up her device if it came in range. Far fetched. Yes. But believe it or not, its an actual topic that ive studied in a cyber war class.

Our HOA tried to enforce this in our neighborhood. Unfortunately, I think that is because some people stay up all night with lights on their lanai or pool area that shine into a home's bedroom that is directly behind them. The rule is for the few who are inconsiderate not the majority. We actually have trail lights in the back and dusk-to-dawn lights on our garage. No houses behind us, fortunately.

That being said, there is so much distance in NG's neighborhood that I can't see how anyone's floodlights would disturb another home?

Why not just have motion detection lights that come on and record when there is motion around the home?

They make amazing black out shades, some even can be installed and controlled by a switch by your bed. I would rather pay for these shades and have the neighbors have lights on. So many evil people in this world now that I would never tell neighbors who have night/dark fears they can't have their lights on.

I can see why someone would think that for sure, but I can also see that it's as likely that she is media shy and uncomfortable in those types of settings, particularly under these circumstances. Lots of folks have scrutinized and commented on her breathing and/or her blinking in the first video, but I attribute it more to "fish out of water" behavior myself.

Three different family members going through the worst experience of their lives, and you'd expect each of them to be handling this very differently. No one is the same, each has unique personalities and stressors, etc.

Police are being vague. The doorbell camera was a Nest camera. LE has also mentioned ADT but they aren't saying if they have more Nest cameras or ADT alarm and/or cameras or what? Just that video is limited. They also mention floodlights but don't say if it is cameras, floodlight motion sensor or what

Okay gotcha. I’ve been wondering if any of her camera devices could have been hacked, someone could have been watching her for some time. I’m also curious who these cameras are for if there is no way of retrieving back history with account limitations

Im going to disagree slightly with his comment. There was an acid attack in Savannah, GA recently against a woman walking her dog. She's still alive and recovering. FBI got involved within about a similar time frame to analyze substance and they even created a holiness for tips. There is no dead person and no crossing of Stateline in that case. FBI can get involved for a variety of reasons and often do.

Since the Sheriff hasn’t officially cleared anyone, that technically means anyone could be a suspect.
Because of that, when you’re discussing someone in that context, please use initials only.
We do this so if someone Googles a name, they don’t find page after page after page of posts tying that person to a crime. Even if nothing ever comes of it, that kind of digital footprint can follow someone for years. Jobs, relationships, reputations — it all gets affected.

that's a good point. The reason LE couldn't access some video is because Nancy didn't have a subscription (per LE). Again, they didn't clarify what cameras or what subscription (I'm assuming Nest, but who knows?)

To install automated shades in our town cost an arm and a leg. We got an estimate for $4,000. So, we decided for now not to do it. Fortunately, we are on a golf course with no houses backing up to ours.

We live in a retirement community. Those complaining unfortunately live back to back on small lots. Their neighbors are noisy, stay up half the night with television on back lanai blaring and all the lights on. It's not for safety. We also live in a gated community with little crime in the surrounding area (fingers crossed).

On the things people like to think are flowers- if they were truly flowers, don’t you think LE would have taken them into evidence? Although as I say that the Amazon package was there.

I really think the plant debris by the front door matches the purple flowers seen along the walkway (likely ruellia / Mexican petunia). If that’s true, it raises the possibility that someone approached from that direction and unintentionally tracked plant material right up to the entry, either on shoes/clothing, or possibly by staying low/crawling to reduce visibility to the doorbell camera.
What also stands out is the green smudge/marking near the doorbell area, which looks consistent with plant transfer (like brushing against a stem or leaves). And since doorbells are typically mounted around 48–54 inches, contact in that area may be more naturally explained by someone taller than Nancy (5’5”). A person around 5’10” would be more likely to brush that height with their shoulder/upper arm. That said, Nancy could still have made contact if she stumbled, raised an arm, leaned into the frame, or was being pulled.
The presence of this debris near the entry feels like a detail that could matter.

I agree. Speaking out won't do anything except fan the flames more because everything said or done will just be picked apart. I'd rather keep silent myself.

I think it means limited street lights. Not sure what restrictions there are about porch or garage lights. A lot of these houses are set back from the street. maybe someone can clarify

I live in this neighborhood. We can and do have floodlights and lights on motion detectors. I also noticed NG’s pristine roof coating and would guess it’s been done very recently.

Anyone think that this whole thing is too much work for people to make money? If they are such criminal masterminds couldn't they have found another rich person (maybe even a non celeb without the connections SG has)who has a beloved family member that wouldn't be such hard work like NG? I am starting to think like some of you that the ransom note and all that "noise" is just to try to keep out of jail as long as possible and they know they are cooked.
