I was referring to a comment made by The Word of God in the link on Massguy’s post.(see link above). If you go to The Word of God ‘s posts on X there is a pic of a white van , in his January post.He had commented that “ grandma Gauthier could be found in an abandoned warehouse , seen in a pic he posted.Sounds like a very weird dude!
strange. I went to the link and didn't see a comment made by anyone with that name, must be getting filtered out for me. Thanks for explaining!

Even if AB's reporting turns out to be true, was it her place to report it while the investigation is ongoing and no POI has been named? I think THAT is the issue.

Reporters routinely have info that they hold without disclosing.

jmo
Maybe she was instructed to let it slip...

Agreed. If it was someone close to her it could’ve been anything. She could’ve become aware of something and they needed to keep her quiet. The possibilities are endless. Especially for true crime followers and anyone who likes murder mysteries. I could literally list off a thousand different scenarios and end up being completely off. It is usually Occums Razor but I feel like there’s been at least one recent COMPLETELY random crime. Oh Brian K being the person who murdered the 4 college students. Occums razor would be someone known to the victim. But every now and then it’s someone totally out of left field.
Right. And not to go down a rabbit hole, but even Brian K had a motive… was it a rational one that non sexual sadist psychopaths can understand? Not really. But in his mind he was settling a score and proving something. I believe that will be the case here, there’s always some kind of motive.

Hello all! I've been reading and keeping up with the thread for a couple days now and all the thoughts and leads everyone has been posting has been inspiring, so I thought maybe I would leave my thoughts here to inspire anyone else!

My main focus has been the motive of this crime. If money was the motive, then it is my belief the ransom notes would have included either Proof of Life or some form of an open communication line, therefore assuring they receive the money they want. I think regardless of intelligence, the kidnapper(s) would have known no money would exchange hands until there is Proof of Life.

So if money isn't the motive, then my next best guess is attention. The fact these ransom notes have been delivered only to news stations would corroborate this. Not to mention, SG's obvious ties to the news. It feels like a lot of this crime has been done to capture the attention of the country and News Cycle. (Another thought along these lines is the fact the response to the kidnappers from SG and LE may have been purposely not posted through news channels in order to deny them that fame, and therefore prompting the kidnapper to reach out again.)

That has been my line of thinking thus far, and if anyone disagrees with the above I would love to hear it. It's hard poking holes in your own theories haha.

On another note, I keep seeing mention of an Uber Driver and I can't seem to find where that comes into play, as far as I know NG was dropped off at home that night by her family. If anyone has a link or can quickly clear that up for me I would appreciate it.

No worries, lol, they'll be back. JMO
My reason for asking is because if they find a reason to return again, another proof of reason why they need to return, judge to sign off on search warrant etc. which will be a delay. I hope this is a better explanation of why I am asking.

Is this stating one of the two individuals is who they are looking for as a possible suspect? Both have some sort of id badges, LE would be able to see the details better showing here.
no

Something could also be not premeditated/planned. Imagine a relative treats another relative poorly - years of condescending comments and barbs and insults. And then one day the other relative has enough and explodes back. Family can bring out the absolute worst in each other.

Every time she said it though, she explicitly made sure to quote her source. So technically isn't she not the one saying it if she's directly quoting somebody. And under what circumstances does this fall under free speech/press. I just feel like there are a lot of loopholes here.

JMO
i would hold her liable for the reporting on TC. She never named the source.

She's the one saying it publicly and causing damages. I could tell you something about a third person but that doesn't really damage their reputation. If you take that information and blast it publicly and it is not true, you're the one causing damages. Technically, we have both committed slander and could be sued but they couldn't get money from me, because I didn't cause damages.

It is reported that NG took an Uber over to her daughter's home and then family took her home that night.

No one in this picture is a suspect. It's LE.

Is the photo implying the guy in line onscreen is of interest? An older man wearing a work lanyard with an ID?
I saw this on Twitter a few minutes ago. Last remark might answer your question:

No. It was clarified that that man in the picture is the investigator.
