They were taking photos inside the house and garage. One of them left with boxes from inside.

This is more of a general question for any LE or LE-adjacent who may know- in these high profile cases where time may be of the essence, do the detectives on the inside of the cases work overnight to go through evidence collected? Or are there multiple shifts coming and going, who comb through evidence, pictures, traffic cams, paperwork etc? Obviously it would depend on the size of the LE agency and regional resources, but curious as to how quickly things like this could move and if it really is a 24/7 operation at this point in the investigation.

I am the one who said the Circle K is right next to AG’s house, it’s .5 miles, a 2 min drive or 10 min walk. However it is also one of the closest gas stations to NG’s house and is on the way to the highway from her house.

I live a few minutes from NG, I’m not a verified insider or anything but I do know people who know her/the family.

I haven't actually seen the blood splatter but the trajectory, force, and "tool" will all affect how you'd plant that.

Bbm but re her birthday I was thinking celebrate could be a reference to a family member’s birthday etc. They seemed more passive in the video imo. My interpretation was they recognized and showed respect for the power the sender/s have.

It seemed like NG cherished her grandchild (all of them, of course, but AG's seems to be the one she spent the most time with due to proximity). I really hope SIL wouldn't do that to him, and the rest of the family. I hope there's an innocuous reason LE's taking photos there, but I don’t know.

And if SIL was involved I really hope AG wasn’t… it’s possible she wasn’t if he planned it with a friend or something. IDK what to think anymore. Really hoped the family wasn’t involved.

I've hoped since the beginning there was no family involvement in the crime. It's horrific enough to lose a love one this way but then to have to deal with that aspect on top magnifies the trauma!

When AB revealed what her source told her I was annoyed with her, both for possibly hindering investigation but also for bringing SO much negative attention on someone who may not be guilty. Days later she was telling Megyn Kelly her source is still adamant with the tip, so...

I am 100% sure, following latest plea from Savannah, that Ms Guthrie has passed but I still hope that her family (despite what my theories comprise) are not involved.

Maybe I'm not understanding this. Don't they need probable cause to get a warrant? I'd be surprised if they went there last night, parked, and then suddenly realized that they didn't have a warrant. So maybe they were there last night for some slightly different reason?

I don't think they pulled up and "realized they didn't have a warrant", but sometimes just showing up and asking to check inside is enough to make some people panic and scramble. Remember too they started searching the area between the two houses today as well. Something could have popped up on a cell phone dump, they may have found something in between the houses, there may have been something suspicious in plain sight. There's really no telling what happened between last night and today that convinced a judge to sign off on a search warrant.

I find it hard to believe if SIL and AG are involved, that they would be able to send these ransom notes without it being figured out by LE before now. Especially since it involved the bitcoin account and IP encryption. I feel like her death may have been heat of the moment if it was SIL/AG, so it seems off that they could throw together an elaborate ransom situation that quickly. I don’t know. This case is really crazy. So now I’m leaning towards the ransom notes not being really connected.

Searching AG’s house could simply mean it’s the most important location for reconstructing the timeline and finding physical/digital evidence not because NG died there or anyone who lives there is guilty of her disappearance.

Detectives left with boxes and a folding table. They were inside for about two hours. Maybe the camera they removed yesterday held the identity of the person(s) responsible for NG's disappearance. Hopefully, an arrest will happen soon.
