What if NG hired an Uber and wasn’t expected at AG’s house? Even if she was expected something upset SIL and she was murdered without a prior plan. Then SIL decides to cover up the murder by staging the kidnapping. And then, the kidnapping to cover up the murder requires an actual ransom so that plan is hatched but it takes a few days to figure out how to pull it off. Did his band mates help him with all this? I just voted "total stranger", which to me means NG was targeted because the kidnapper thought SG would pay out a large sum, but otherwise doesn't have a direct connection to the family other than being local to Tucson and general knowledge. I think they are highly intelligent, tech savvy, and lacking general emotions or empathy.

I live in the burbs. Almost everyone I know enters through the garage, even when being dropped off. We all have keypads that control our garage doors.
