This is the sticking point for me. There is no way that I could sit next to a sibling that I thought was implicated. Or stay at their home.

I believe she returned home that night. I highly doubt anyone planted blood.

I don't think blood was planted either (and I think blood experts would be able to figure that out).

Since it is her blood, I do think it would have to be after the dinner not before. If she were injured innocently, she surely would clean that up. And I would think the Uber driver would notice something about her if injured.

But, honestly, my mind continues to flit from theory to theory to no theory.

I had that thought too. That they now know she is dead and they want to simply bring her home. But the "celebrate with her" seemed to suggest she is still alive. So I concluded the family have received a threat to NG's life and are now resigned to paying whatever amount is being demanded. But then the "this is very valuable to us" is a very odd thing to say about a live person being returned

My first thought that the "celebrate with her" was referring to a "celebration of life". I'm thinking that the siblings now know that the kidnapper cannot show a sign of life for their mother, but they are willing to pay to get her body back.

What are people’s thoughts on the towing of Nancy’s car from the garage? Do they think she actually used the car that night? They took it when they came back in some sort of renewed search, but I’m struggling to put together what that might mean.

Perhaps got to thinking, from some indication in the communications?, that the intruder lurked around the garage concealing themselves for Mrs. Guthrie’s return or doing some staging at some point and hoping they left touch evidence behind so the car is taken in for the technicians to comb over?

I see what you were saying, but I cannot see that angle. I cannot imagine in 1 million years if your spouse does something like that, you know you are going to be presumed part of it, that you don't distance yourself. I think just the opposite. I cannot imagine in 1 million years that if that went down at my home with my spouse, that I would not be coming up with something to plausibly claim my innocence. And the fact that she did not contact the police, to me, would speak volumes on her involvement and trying to come up with maybe the ransom thing or something to try to clean up IMO.

It also would make me wonder more about her potentially being the impulse for it. In other words, if the husband went off in anger and did something, wouldn't he try to protect his wife to try to distance herself from it and come up with something to make it look like she had no part of it? Instead a kidnapping scenario?

Well, theoretically it's possible that IF there is any involvement on the husband's part, that she was involved as well, or as you say may have even been the catalyst, and he's covering for her. That's not an unusual scenario in a marriage.

I'm just saying that even if she were not involved, there are reasons she might cover for her husband also.

We lived near coyotes for 15 years and yes you can still hear a dog bark with coyotees howling. Having said that, I am reading she did not have a dog. Also coyotes move around a area quite a bit hunting. They will sound close sometimes, and distant at other times. They howl a good bit upon finding a rabbit or something else they are hunting and they only do this at night. It was really cool living near them. They never bothered any of our stray farm cats in all those years.

Coyotes not a fan of cats, or is there just a lot of other game for them out there?

I don't love speculating on how people behave in grief. People often act very strange indeed.

HOWEVER - I also noticed SG's hand contact with her brother is quite different to the contact with AG. She places her hand in her brother's hand and strokes his hand during the video. Her hand is then almost like a claw over AG's's, and there is no movement or stroking at all (unlike the earlier video where there was more touch and movement between the two).

I was wondering if it was my imagination. It looked like she was leaning away from AG and holding her hand in an “ew, cooties” kind of way.

- did NG leave her house through the garage to get in the uber?
- does anyone know when the Amazon package was delivered to the doorstep? (It’s visible in the NewsNation video)
- Do police know when sil returned home Saturday night?

Thought: maybe they towed NG car because the family used it Saturday night to avoid detection/tracking in their own car. It is possible to disengage a garage door opener and still access the garage

think the house was staged with drips of blood and cameras cut off and apple watch brought back
think savannah and brother are playing along with ransom until they make an arrest
FBI doesnt show their cards unless they have a sealed case which i think they are working towards now

are sleuths thinking that. video footage at gas station which became of such interest is going to show TC?

OR - could (going with my theory) the SIL have been there that night and that particular Circle K would place him in the vicinity of NG vs his own home or where he was supposed to be?
I don't see why Circle K would report just some random man or some random car since the media isn't reporting any specfic car or suspect to report. It makes me think a traffic camera caught AG car at the intersection and LE needed tape pulled to see who was driving the car

Please let me know if I am missing an angle here in my thought process. Let's for argument's sake now say that her ending happened at the home of her daughter and SIL. If it was perhaps over money, say they were taking money from an account of hers, and she found out confronted them, or anything like that, and say the SIL did something, if AG had no part in it, wouldn't she have called 911?

If she was afraid that she would end up being a victim herself, even if she got herself, and if they have a child, etc., out of the house at some point, wouldn't she have contacted the police? And isn't the fact that she did not contact the police if things got out of hand in that house proof that she was part of it?

People have noted that the holding hands with the sister in the latest video is not really holding hands. That body language speaks volumes. I don't know if she is still having to put on a façade pretending that she believes her sister had no part in this to try to get information, or to try to get cooperation to get whoever sent the emails/notes.

I thought the “silver briefcase” was taken out of LE vehicle and brought into AG’s home? I heard someone describe it as a folding table later on in the night.

It can be seen here, it looks like a folded table to me, and yes it was taken into the house and then brought back out at the end.
