Just a friendly reminder: I sure wish stuff wasn't published on Twitter -- and that we weren't posting Twitter links because some of us don't use SM and can't access the content :(

There is zero evidence SG has come into contact with SIL since arriving. Perhaps initially, but the only appearances of SG we have seen have been with her siblings. She is absolutely not staying with SIL or even AG at this point.
she was filmed going in and out of their home when this first broke. She was there with security.

Good God, I hope not. :(
Yeah, I dont really believe that. I believe they are closing in and wrapping up details honestly!!

And I'm sure she is worried about her children as well. Assume they are in a tight security situation with her husband back at home.
Yeh, most likely. Sadly I don't see any way SG could go back to hosting the Today show or having much of a public profile after this. Both for her own safety and that of her family. There was a situation with a morning show anchor in my country where there was a plot to kidnap and unalive her; she's basically disappeared from the media (although there were some other reasons too for that).

I'd be super surprised if she was on her own property. Far too risky for the Perps. I think somewhere in that vast desert nearby, a well known dumping grounds for the criminal element. Of course, I could be wrong - I have been more than a few times.

Amateur opinion and speculation
Exactly. It'd be the first place LE would look. Well ok, a week later, but still...

I thought they checked the septic tank on the day they returned to the house after 'releasing' it (tuesday?).

I see posts saying SIL. Who is that? Does that mean sister-in-law? And who would that be? AG is SG's sister. Are people thinking that SG's brother, if he has a wife, is part of this? Where did that come from?

Why am I having a feeling that this case is going to break wide open today? JMO

I wished this thread could be slowed down like the chats on YouTube.

It is going lightening fast.

Ms Guthrie's son-in-law. Daughter's husband.

The family’s failure to find blood at the front door a week ago speaks (somewhat) to their innocence and the guilt of a person less familiar with the family My assumption is the front door is never used by Nancy, so the family had no reason to dream that she had exited by the front door. That said, a stranger locking the front door(s) behind himself seems unlikely as well. Hard to figure out this one. So little makes sense.
Family members didn't see the blood? From first articles, police said it was a horrible scene.

I was trying to think of something I could use to identify myself to my family if I were in NG's situation and the possibility that an in-law was involved. To me, it would have to be something deeply personal that was never discussed in the presence of anyone that had married into my family.

For my immediate family, it would be the home number we had when we were growing up in Manhattan, back when the prefix was part of a word.

No one who married into our family would know that, and neither would our children and grandchildren.

I’m struggling each time I wake up and see there’s still no Nancy. I doubt she is alive based on everything we know, and the family’s defeated video from yesterday, but there’s always that tiny fraction, a glimmer of hope.

Do we know where TC teaches? I can't find his info on any of the government salaries pages.

We know church members notified the family about Nancy's absence. Who was supposed to pick up Nancy for church that Sunday morning? Wouldn't the alarm have been sounded at that time?
While that's reasonable, unfortunately, don't know whether church members notified the family that NG wasn't there. I think that's what LE said initially, but then some news reports said that she hadn't been attending church in person since the pandemic. If she was watching a live feed at the church, it sounds like no one would've been able to tell if she was present or absent.

It's possible that she *did* attend church in person, that she attended another church, or that she participated in some online church-related activity where her absence would have been noticed. In any event, there is a lot of murkiness about the nature of her church attendance and about what made her family look for her.
