Not following. They want the bitcoin paid by a deadline or they'll kill the lady. Pressure to get paid. Apparently they have not received any ransom payment yet and are upping the ante with a deadline and a threat.
Right, my point is that the ransom can be paid at any time. They don’t have to wait til Monday at 5. It could already be paid for all we know.

Maybe it was paid and that’s why they’re looking in her septic tank in the back yard right now. I sure freaking hope not tho.

That, to me should of been a first thing as well to have been investigated. The outbuildings, inside the home, outside the home and DEF that sewer tank! IMO Awful, now let's see if that finds her, so awfully. IMO
Seems like a dry well, cesspool tank or water collection cistern.

I'm a home owner on a multi acre lot but am not familiar with desert living. My septic tank has a much smaller cover. An ominous are to search nonetheless.

Just a friendly reminder: I sure wish stuff wasn't published on Twitter -- and that we weren't posting Twitter links because some of us don't use SM and can't access the content :(
Sorry! I was asking MassGuy about footage posted showing Sheriff's deputies searching the garage of the sister and brother-in-law of Savannah Guthrie, and flashes indicating possible luminol testing.

Yup. That’s a really big issue. I would have expected something big by now, especially with all the resources here.
Do you think they might wait if no proof that she is actually deceased-since the kidnap angle is still in play, appeal to someone while working the case and hope for a confession/location? Would it be worked differently if it were sensitive, like someone in her inner circle?
We know church members notified the family about Nancy's absence. Who was supposed to pick up Nancy for church that Sunday morning? Wouldn't the alarm have been sounded at that time?
We do not know church members did anything. The Sheriff just repeated what he was told, in my opinion. Was it a fact? Was that a proven statement?

I sure will be ticked off if that is where she will be found. We all talked about septic system a few days ago, myself included. Someone here on websleuths even suggested when there was a tank brought it that maybe it was being used to drain the septic, but we never got word of what it was used for.
A flatbed truck with a tank on it was seen at NG home on day 2. So they have at least been considering it since then...MOO

There is zero evidence SG has come into contact with SIL since arriving. Perhaps initially, but the only appearances of SG we have seen have been with her siblings. She is absolutely not staying with SIL or even AG at this point.
Last night I read that she and her brother have been staying with her older sibling. I assume this means AG, since there aren't any other siblings I'm aware of. I'll look through the thread and try to find the post. I believe it was from a news article wherein the 6M ransom was mentioned.

Seems way too obvious to put her in a well or sewer on the property. Even if they did continue a fake ransom story, they would know the house would be searched thoroughly.

Which news station? Do you happen to have a link? :)
I'm watching fox... I will see if I can find an online link that I can share, but it's been hard to find!

We saw the Cellbrite the other day going in to AG's house. It was in a black case, and said "Cellbrite" on it.
Thank you.
I knew I heard/saw that somewhere.

And they want everyone to keep talking and not lawyer up, so they don't want anyone to be declared a suspect, because that is when they lawyer up. LE also needs a body. Once this eventually hits a jury, no body is harder to prove a crime. If you have a body, usually you can find cause of death, then you might find a murder weapon. Lots to gain from getting a body. Anyone remember Kyron Horman case? Never found; stepmother did it IMO. LE never could bring charges because they really needed more physical evidence. (I lived just a few miles from where he disappeared and followed the case very, very, very closely. I worked out at the gym that they went to. For years the gym still had a fence with Kyron's picture, balloons, and flowers for him....)
IMO they are looking for a body right now in Nancy's backyard. Agree having a body will make a huge difference in proving the crime. IMO they are saying that they don't have any suspects because they don't want suspects knowing that they are suspects of LE. The more solid evidence they gather, the more the likelihood of a solid case that leads to a conviction. IMO

Regarding criticism of authorities using large printed maps. Think in terms of having an engineer on a job site with blueprints to the house or building, not just a digital house plan you downloaded from eplans.com. Engineers, contractors, city planners still use printed blueprints, maps in addition to digital tools. Everything in the world is not on Google maps. We have giant cad printers to print digital copies of things. Sometimes, bigger is actually better.
I wasn’t criticizing…just being flippant.

It seems like it may be some kind of map of septic systems or sewers in the area based on what is being seen now.

This investigation is a right mess if they're just now getting around to checking the septic tank.

My opinion only.
I remember hearing someone, I think it was Harvey Levin, state that local LE was inexperienced in this area. I thought that was a great way to put it. No disrespect to anyone in that field but it may have been time to call in another agency last week.

Ditto. I live in Idaho and watched that YouTube fool first emerge strongly in the Idaho 4 case. His theories were ridiculous! Incidentally, that's also the first time I saw Brian's reporting. I think he does good work. No sensationalism.

All feels weird. Like they are either very close to a finish line or nowhere near one.

is that a bandage above her elbow? Interesting if this was taken the night of dinner and game re: doorstep blood. Just a thought.
That photo is not said to have been taken from the mahjong dinner night. It could have been from 2 years ago who knows.

My septic tanks (2) have the same, large, green access covers.

Unbelievable if they are only checking the septic tank now. MO
