I was thinking.. $6 million is a oddly specific number. Why not $10 million? or more. Especially in bitcoin.
Perhaps it has something to do with the exchange rate of bitcoin? Or rules and regulations about bitcoin? IDK, someone with knowledge about that end of things would have to chime it.

Someone else here suggested SG's employer might have death/kidnap insurance on their TV celebrities. Maybe the extortionists did their homework and it is tied into that somehow.

Or they know SG's cash liquidity.

IDK just guessing.

SG is wealthy for sure, but not super rich. If she is worth $40 million, $10 million is a big chunk of her wealth. Maybe they thought $6 million was more apt to be paid.

I'd love to know what Brian has shared here. The link doesn't work for me, I assume because I don't have Twitter. Is it an article or a video?
I just watched it. Interview the ex-detective is quite interesting. Some information about crime patterns in the local area. He says if it is a kidnapping, it's professionally done and possibly cartel activity. Answers some questions about what they could have been doing inside AG's house last night.

I've been following this thread and hope NG comes home alive. I just saw this post on 4chan from a poster with a Mexican flag and felt I should bring it to someone's attention but too spooked and feel too foolish to actually send a tip, lol, so I signed into my Websleuths account which I've never used to post here. Please ignore the politically incorrect things you may see if you click the link. Please delete if not allowed.

what is the video attached to the post of, what makes you think it justifies a tip, is there something in the video related to Nancy?

This has probably been posted, but thread is moving so fast, I'm posting just in case, bbm:

The authors of Nancy Guthrie’s ransom note may have exposed themselves as operating outside the US because of one tiny detail in their note – a specification that their multi-million dollar demands be paid out in US dollars, law enforcement experts think.

“Why would you use that if you’re a domestic person? That points to somebody who might be potentially outside the country, which also lends the potential for this being a scam,” former FBI agent Michael Harrigan told The Post.

“If you’re domestic, why would you ever put ‘USD?’ You put six million,” he added.

I already wrote about it but boy, all I can say is that the “experts” never traveled even to Canada, lol!

Do they know how many countries in the world use dollars as currency? I would definitely put US dollar. I live in the US but from one travel to Australia when US/AU dollar was favorable to me, I learned.

There probably would be other reasons to suspect a person living outside the US, but not “US dollar”.

I think 6 mln might come from 5 mln to the ones who “abducted” NG plus 1 mln “commission” to the crypto-guy.

JMO:

I am thinking that a teenager playing computer games can easily make friends in Saudi Arabia or India or the Emirates, and all these kids may know more about cybersecurity or cryptocurrency than adults. So perhaps LE has to interview some teenagers around NG.

What is it that spooked you? I can't tell from the screenshots and the link is not working?

The video is a tour of the home that was listed for sale a year ago

But then they just left with one little paper sack. If they found anything, I'd have thought we'd see more activity, the house torn apart, and more things removed.
On the latest Brian Entin vid I posted upthread he was chatting with a former 20 yr veteran of the Tucson police force.
The former LE said basically that anything could be in that bag. If LE had any trash they would also bring it out in a paper bag like that too.
He also said LE probably should have processed Annie’s house the same day they processed the Mom’s. But a lot of veteran LE retired and the force is made up with a few long timers but also a lot of rookies.

I forgot to mention this the other day, but I noticed on Google Maps that AG's address appeared blurred out on Google Maps. At least, the address I found publicly online. I wasn't sure if it was the exact same house though; I tried to match it against the photos of the house, but I'm not 100%.

I'm confused, is it empty now, was that why it was suggested to be looked at?

The ransom demand is said to be $6 million, and for that kind of money the employer will want to be notified ahead of time I assume. Of course this case has national intense coverage.

But the amount demanded could be even higher than $6 million.

Perhaps the FBI checking out the kidnapper note is the cause of the delay in paying the ransom.
Do people actually think they will inform the media and public when a ransom is paid? I don't.

I guess the idea is to at least for LE to drive there and check if NG is there?

Can you just say what, specifically, should be brought to attention... ??

Hackers have already used AI to steal information from one of the tax filing services. It might not be long before criminals know all of our financials. One of the Shark Tank guys said this is a good thing, which I don't understand. This NG ransom demand might be the just tip of an iceberg on the horizon.

Ah ok. But the property is likely under the control of somebody right, even a sales agent?
