Transcript:

"Hi there everybody. Um, I wanted to come on and just share a few thoughts as we enter into another week of this nightmare. Um, I just want to say first of all thank you so much for all of the prayers and the love that we have felt, my sister and brother and I. And that our mom has felt. Because we believe that somehow, some way she is feeling these prayers and that God is lifting her even in this moment and in this darkest place.

We believe our mom is still out there. We need your help. Law enforcement is working tirelessly, around the clock, trying to bring her home, trying to find her. She was taken and we don't know where. And we need your help. So I'm coming on just to ask you not just for your prayers but no matter where you are, even if you're far from Tucson, if you see anything, if you hear anything, if there's anything at all that seems strange to you, that you report to law enforcement. We are at an hour of desperation. And we need your help."
Note she says MOM -- not MOTHER as in the last video with her siblings....

Wow!!! She is talking as she is alive. Meaning so many misread the tone of her last Instagram post. Didn’t see this coming!

I disagree about misreading tone of former post. They believe something different now...

All of SG's social media posts on this have been essentially lowercase no capitalization, which is not her usual style at all. She typically posts like a journalist, not a 20 year old girl being poetic. Probably means nothing, but some covering the case have pointed it out and wondered if it was code, or if we're just looking for stuff now.
Maybe there's an IG connection? Doubtful, but definitely interesting grammar.

Lower case feels softer to me and yes, maybe more younger? Juvenile? Are they trying to get through with someone with "less education"?

They could align with the language used in the ransom notes. Have a connection/bond with language - create the sameness so the perp feels understood or on the same level? I'm just rambling thoughts now!

I wonder if there's any way that a company like Google can find search queries that look suspicious regarding this case. If you're the perpetrator, you probably did some web searches on the target or the address or typed in words like kidnapping or abduction into a search engine. Obviously you'd be looking into the period before NG was taken from her home.
With respect, many of us would be under investigation for suspicious searches. I searched "How long does a body take to become skeletal" yesterday after a discussion about this on WS 😅

Thank you for the transcript. It seems to me that SG is conveying something in a veiled way--maybe LE is targeting a location 1 hour from Tucson specifically? - "We are at an hour of desperation" sounds off to me.

Sorry if too far-fetched.
IDK if this matters - but it's 4:00 on the east coast - an hour away from 5:00.....do we know if the ransom is due at 5:00 EST??

the new video makes me think they got proof of life TBH. appealing to the public because they believe someone could see her out there.
what I see is SG and family just want their mother back no matter what. Going to public which tells me they are desperate and LE at a standstill. I sort of think they have determined the notes are a hoax.

Listening to SG's new video, it doesn't sound like LE is close to solving this.
IMO, It sounds like they don't really have much of anything. :( She sounds defeated and frustrated, literally grasping at straws.

MOO:

If they are investigating a particular person or group, then yes. They can take a look at search history for incriminating stuff. If they have no starting point, it is not practical to scour all search traffic to try to find queries of interest. I don't think this is a viable path of investigation without first narrowing it to a suspect or person of interest.

Gotcha, maybe someday that will be an option. That would be a game changer in criminal investigations I would think.

and Now I am circling back to my initial thinking. repairmen, someone delivering or installing something. Who gathered just enough intel on their visit(s) to the property to case the home.
That was my first thought. ^^^
Not so sure anymore.
Anyone employed for cleaning, cooking, yard work, etc., would know quite a bit regarding their employer.
But how would they think they'd ever get away with such a crime ?
They'd have to know they'd be looked at first ?
Not much information out there, however I'd imagine LE have questioned them all and come up with nothing so far ?
Jmo.

“Multiple ransom notes have been sent out to the media, including one that was sent to us,” JJ McKinney from Tucson ABC affiliate KGUN9 reported.

“In the letter, the potential kidnappers demanded that the Guthries pay them $6 million before this Monday.”

The ransom note writers said Nancy’s Guthrie’s life is in peril if the deadline – set for 5 p.m. local time on Monday – isn’t met, the outlet reported.

Edited by me, I misspoke and gave incorrect information.

I asked chat GPT to write a ransom note for me yesterday to see if the wording would be similar....waiting for people to show up at my house......prob wont do that again. (for the record - it says it cant do that.....)

This will get deleted, but I had to scroll 26 time to read all of this post, while there are notes more compact notes somewhere here. Sorry to be rude, but really.
ok I'll delete it

If someone "sees her out there" after 8 days of capture in a super high profile media case, then I think Jesse Pinkman and his gang are behind it.

I feel like they're actually giving up on the ransom angle, based on the new video.

what makes you think they're giving up, genuinely asking?

so few true crime cases are actually high profile, as in known by the general public. that's why they put all those billboards up - the vast majority of people have maybe heard this case in passing or scrolled by it on their social media, if at all. they wouldn't know who nancy is or what she looks like if they saw her at a rest stop. SG is asking people to keep their eyes open.

we don't know time zone, but that "may" mean Mountain, which is Tucson?

There is a reason SG is alone in this last video, and that she appears like "herself", (to the public eye), and with direct eye contact. I can't speculate on the reason, but like some others here I sense an undertone of ....something....wrath? more than frustration and desperation, which are also preent.
To be honest, her siblings have felt like distractions in the previous videos. This seems like Savannah taking things into her own hands.

The past videos seemed to be addressed to the kidnaper/s, we will do what you want, we will pay you, pleading. In this one, she is asking citizens to get out there and help catch those mfers who took her mother. The gloves are off. You can bet the perpetrators didn’t tell her they want more law enforcement involved.

One t

One thing that seems very clear from this video: it would be pointless to post something like this - even as a diversion - if police were closing in on your family members as murder suspects.
Unless it’s to throw off the perp.
