I think they have one of those human face masks under the ski masks. They are pretty easy to get off Amazon. Some have printed facial hair. Everything we see just has a flat look. There’s no contours to the eyes or mouth.

The eyebrows just do not sit right with me. They're SO dark and thin, but also at times they don't look like eyebrows at all.

IMO - optical illusion. It seems the balaclava falls over the brows which makes it seem the brows are very thin

That just looks like shading from the rims of the mask. Not like eyebrows.

It could be shading or maybe even stitching that gives it the "thin, arched eyebrows" look

I saw commentary by ex-LE I think it was, I think he said he tried to grab the bushes to use to conceal /block he camera and when that didn't work he destroyed the camera altogether.

The flowers would lead you to believe this is the suspects first “rodeo”? I think if this was his 2nd or more he would’ve learned of a better option to cover the camera than lantanna?

This obviously means that they don’t actually have a suspect, at least one that they can identify.

I’m starting to believe that this person was just stupid. If the ransom was in fact real, from this particular individual, it was an afterthought. They also don’t seem to have cased the house thoroughly. They would have known what to do with the camera immediately. Instead they’re looking for something to cover it with. They then decided to just rip it off.

I think it’s also important to keep in mind that we know next to nothing about Nancy Guthrie aside from her watching a church service on a live feed. She could have issues with a neighbor. When the floodlights were mentioned as being destroyed by the person who wrote the ransom, someone brought up the possibility that could have been what this was all about. Someone was ticked off about them always shining. People do horrible things over small matters all the time. To take the time to destroy them is wild when they didn’t even think of how to deal with the door cam. I guess they could think they the flood light may give them away, but they didn’t check to see if there was a door cam. It’s weird. It’s dumb. Maybe this is an amateur young person from the neighborhood. I don’t think they’ve ever said whether or not anything was stolen from the house. That would reveal if this was in fact a robbery gone bad. That robbery was the motivation.

All this being said, this person doesn’t seem to be well organized.

If the purpose was a robbery, why not take something material? Make NG come up with jewelry, etc. rather than just take her? Seems weird to have left things behind that might be valuable.

It would take 5 years in AZ to get the insurance and a declaration of death without a body.

DE is the SIL's bandmate. While I guess it could be him, the family says they don't recognize the guy in the photos/videos. Also, DE lacks the facial hair and as far as I can tell has prominent ears. I could be wrong, but I don't think it looks like the guy has large ears under that ski mask.

Tucson is high elevation desert. 2400 + feet. Gets pretty chilly as soon as the sun goes down. It is still winter. And what they say about Arizona..It’s all about altitude, not latitude.

Spent a winter there. Don't recall wearing more than shorts/short sleeves. Maybe a light jacket at night.
