Before we all get too excited, I think they may have caught the person that sent the bogus ransom request. I can only hope they found NG as well.

Can you share more on why you think this?

Praying that NG is found alive. I just have a feeling something's going to break tonight when we're all asleep..

Wondering if the release of the photos was to scare the perp/get them to make moves or flee.

Hearing about a blackhawk helicopter near the homes but FBI teams about 90 mins SE of Tucson.. possibly near mountains?
EDIT: Could be related to other military activity or missing hiker, obviously total speculation. I'm just watching some flight trackers online.

I was watching that too. The Fort Huachuca Army military base is where the flight originated, near that area, so it could very well just be a training flight or some other non-related action.

The area of interest is pretty remote, but has a nice lake, small marina, campground and pretty grassy area with trees. Parker Canyon Lake. I would think it would get a lot of visits from military members from Fort Huachuca who were recreating on leave.

Big 'ol Chinook helicopter is a bit brawny for an air search, however it certainly could prove useful if it was full of LE personnel who were going to investigate something in that region.

"Fort Huachuca, located in southeastern Arizona, is a premier U.S. Army installation and joint-services base focused on military intelligence, cybersecurity, and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) training. It serves as the home of the U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE), the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), and the Electronic Proving Ground."

That campground is 81 miles southeast of central Tucson, about a 2 hour drive.

Who said she entered via the garage? If she was dropped at home by her SIL why wouldn't she go through the front door? Seems a lot more trouble to open a garage door than a front door. IMO.

We know she has used the front door because her blood spatter was found there. And even if she did enter through the garage there should still be evidence of a vehicle pulling up to the house and swinging into the driveway. I can't imagine letting an 84 year old woman with limited mobility walk from the road and get herself into the house via the garage. She isn't the kind of person you just 'drop off'. In the released video you can see the the walkway and the road so a vehicle would have activated the camera.

There is evidence garage door opened and closed at the time she was driven home.

Why do you assume car dropping her off didn't drive INTO garage - and she then entered house through internal access door!

Just FYI but in addition to the person detained - there is active surveillance right now on other houses/people/ and a specific "thing" ... potentially we could see this all come to an end tonight.

Fingers crossed.

Anong other things, sadly, he probably lacks the brains to keep an elderly woman alive for 10 days in hiding with the pressure of massive international publicity.
Or he's not badass enough to carry out anything fatal. Imo. Praying for a good outcome

I agree the arrest is likely whoever owns the bitcoin wallet, let's hope it's the actual guy though. Maybe someone sent in a valid tip

Thank you. Appreciated. I'm new to this. Just to be clear, I wasn't using AI for deliberations or presenting AI deliberations; I just asked to deblur and enhance the photo and then remove the hand. No face was shared. And I understand the limitations in that regard. Separately, I am looking for rules of membership, but I can't seem to find them. If would if you would be so kind as to send me the link. Thanks again
Welcome to Ws @Irishding, happy to have you here, now off to find out more about the potential POI news!

Or even right up to it..if you have an automatic door opener or a pin key it is not uncommon at all to go in that way. Not everyone does this but it is a common practice for some esp. if there are no stairs.

What do they keep pointing out? I was watching JLR earlier, and a lot of the homeowners were gesturing with their hands and pointing. But to/at what? Something the saw? Something they heard? Both? Cuz it was something!!!
Possibly pointing out a traffic/intersection camera to investigators? Are there any highly traveled streets or intersections in AG’s neighborhood?

AI can’t deblur or enhance. It makes an entirely new image. I’m so sick of AI I wish everyone would use their actual intelligence.
100% agree. I want to discuss with real people, not an AI bullet-point list.

Is there any reputable TV network or live video stream coverage of the current breaking news? I checked CNN and they were not covering it right now. Curious if anyone else has seen live video coverage elsewhere.

This has been discussed at length but.... Her front entry is a curved path with multiple steps to navigate and 2 doors (security screen door and standard door). Her garage door apparently is controlled by and electric door opener and APP. Easy access to home. Many folks with direct access garages use their garage as their main entry.
