I think it's more likely he attempted to scam family with the bitcoin ransom notes
If that is the case, it does nothing to help find NG, sadly. JMO

Nancy still not being found is the saddest part. 😞 If this is the guy, (I hate to even say it) he would've had to kill her and hide her body immediately. Sounds like their house is way too crowded to conceal anyone. And he still thought he could get a ransom and get away with it?

I hope there's still a chance Nancy's okay 💔 If this isn't the guy and just a Bitcoin scammer, where is Nancy? 😕

I guess it'll be easier to answer whether it's him when or if LE chooses to publish photos of this guy.. see if his build and face matches the guy in the footage.
If nothing else, it seems implausible that a single person was involved.

I'm wondering if he's the son of the 56 yo? It is an unusual name and this is not a very populated area.
IMO, Video guy is more likely to be younger - most guys in their 50s have let themselves get fatter than that.

Because it's not based on the investigation itself, but a tip, likely one that came in today.
A "tip" brings some guys with a badge to your door...maybe some guys watching your house. Maybe a traffic stop to check you out.

A "tip" does not bring SWAT from 30 minutes away and FBI agents with a warrant to search your house. That would require compelling evidence in that "tip".

They probably received thousands of tips today. Obviously there aren't thousands of SWAT call outs today to serve thousands of warrants.

Could this guy be some connected but not primary suspect? Of course. But the information on him to warrant that level of response would have to be enough to..well...warrant that level of response.

The tip was supposedly that Nancy was in there, so they wouldn't need a warrant in the first place (exigency).
Where can I read about the tip that Nancy was there? I hadn't heard that

Can you say what the arrest was for? Is he a sex offender?
Yes, the (possible) father was arrested for SA of a child. He was released in 2025 after serving 5 years.

A DoorDash driver living at the border wouldn't be my first guess for the perp. Not high hopes here.
Recently evicted from home and who works where NG lives. I don’t know what to think.

Sounds like the father is the DoorDash driver and son possibly works for fed ex? I think the younger was detained? They were evicted from home so living with mother in law

The 36 yo is a bad driver. Just say'in
Don't see criminal records, but driving borders on criminal.

I pray 🙏🏼 Nancy will be found alive.

How do you know that was the tip? MIL wouldn't know - so she can't be your source

The MIL said it in one of her interviews. Cops told her they got a tip Nancy was there, were asking about Nancy and showing the doorbell camera video.

Hoping Bitcoin deposit is LE trying to use a deposit to track the wallet owner, rather than the ransom.

I heard an expert on this case saying it was possible which I now can't find of course, will keep searching. So for now JMO and MOO.
No one can track a pacemaker. It doesn't ping off of anything. It's only job is to collect info from the heart and transmit to doctor. Transmitting device was left at her home.
Maybe this here needs to change?

Recently evicted from home...where did I miss that news?

MIL said cops told her that. I believe they told her that, but I don’t believe that to actually be the case.

It's definitely possible - 'detained for questioning' runs the spectrum of 'we got 'em' to 'released a few hours later, uninvolved'.

What is your theory of why they might have picked him up.
My guess is probably cell data and vehicle tracking through footage (though the car has been supposedly broken down, so who knows? timing is 'huh' though), or a combo of both. Would be really interested in knowing what he was up to the weekend NG disappeared. Or maybe he's the person that was caught on the neighbor's camera a month or so before? This case puzzles me more and more the longer it goes on. Sure hoping it's not just a 'tip'. JMO.

I'd be really interested to know what his work hours are like. I know MIL of CPjr said he worked Monday through Friday, but I'm curious if any of it was evenings or overnights.
