If that is the case, it does nothing to help find NG, sadly. JMOI think it's more likely he attempted to scam family with the bitcoin ransom notes

If nothing else, it seems implausible that a single person was involved.Nancy still not being found is the saddest part.If this is the guy, (I hate to even say it) he would've had to kill her and hide her body immediately. Sounds like their house is way too crowded to conceal anyone. And he still thought he could get a ransom and get away with it?
I hope there's still a chance Nancy's okayIf this isn't the guy and just a Bitcoin scammer, where is Nancy?
I guess it'll be easier to answer whether it's him when or if LE chooses to publish photos of this guy.. see if his build and face matches the guy in the footage.
IMO, Video guy is more likely to be younger - most guys in their 50s have let themselves get fatter than that.I'm wondering if he's the son of the 56 yo? It is an unusual name and this is not a very populated area.
A "tip" brings some guys with a badge to your door...maybe some guys watching your house. Maybe a traffic stop to check you out.Because it's not based on the investigation itself, but a tip, likely one that came in today.
Where can I read about the tip that Nancy was there? I hadn't heard thatThe tip was supposedly that Nancy was in there, so they wouldn't need a warrant in the first place (exigency).
Yes, the (possible) father was arrested for SA of a child. He was released in 2025 after serving 5 years. Can you say what the arrest was for? Is he a sex offender?
Recently evicted from home and who works where NG lives. I don’t know what to think.A DoorDash driver living at the border wouldn't be my first guess for the perp. Not high hopes here.
Or to be this fantastic writer. But he doesn't sound sophisticated enough for TOR/Onion VPN routing though imo
How do you know that was the tip? MIL wouldn't know - so she can't be your sourceThe tip was supposedly that Nancy was in there, so they wouldn't need a warrant in the first place (exigency).
The MIL said it in one of her interviews. Cops told her they got a tip Nancy was there, were asking about Nancy and showing the doorbell camera video.Where can I read about the tip that Nancy was there? I hadn't heard that
Hoping Bitcoin deposit is LE trying to use a deposit to track the wallet owner, rather than the ransom.
I heard an expert on this case saying it was possible which I now can't find of course, will keep searching. So for now JMO and MOO.
Maybe this here needs to change? No one can track a pacemaker. It doesn't ping off of anything. It's only job is to collect info from the heart and transmit to doctor. Transmitting device was left at her home.
MiL said to the reporter on scene not sure it’s it writingWhere can I read about the tip that Nancy was there? I hadn't heard that
Recently evicted from home...where did I miss that news?Recently evicted from home and who works where NG lives. I don’t know what to think.
MIL said cops told her that. I believe they told her that, but I don’t believe that to actually be the case. How do you know that was the tip? MIL wouldn't know - so she can't be your source
My guess is probably cell data and vehicle tracking through footage (though the car has been supposedly broken down, so who knows? timing is 'huh' though), or a combo of both. Would be really interested in knowing what he was up to the weekend NG disappeared. Or maybe he's the person that was caught on the neighbor's camera a month or so before? This case puzzles me more and more the longer it goes on. Sure hoping it's not just a 'tip'. JMO.It's definitely possible - 'detained for questioning' runs the spectrum of 'we got 'em' to 'released a few hours later, uninvolved'.
What is your theory of why they might have picked him up.
