Thank you for this. That website seems to be UK-based, or at least uses words like "colour" and "stockist."

As for "what can WE do with this" thinking...huh? This is Websleuths, lol. Did you make a wrong turn?

Knowing where a jacket is from can provide critical information. Look at any true-crime hobbyist website or forum. This kind of analysis just might be useful.
I recall many times Tricia has mentioned that critical information like brand of jacket, where jewelry was made, etc helped LE in their investigation. This would NOT be the first time! Big heart here--I follow unidentified threads and any information LE can glean is a step in the right direction for them. I can't remember the name of the case--I'd have to go back and look--but LE was actively participating in the WS forum. Or other threads where LE stated provide us with some names to look at and why you think this UID is this person.

It's so common now that the phrase "Sluethers do your thing" is often used by MSM or LE.

I do not believe the family is involved until evidence of that is made public. Same thing with the delivery driver. I think the person on video at the front door is a man, wearing rimless glasses or plastic safety glasses. The perfectly shaped "eyebrows" are the edge of the glass. The beard and bit of hair under the lower lip looks like a man. The build is masculine, with wider shoulders and narrower hips. In one shot, it looks like he's wearing cowboy boots. In a different shot the shoes appear to be athletic shoes but the video is still too fuzzy. To me, it does look like the delivery driver, but I would not bet on that.

Was it for a ransom? Hard to say. The ransom demand wasn't made until almost 24 hours after it was announced she was missing. The ransom demand could have been made by an opportunist who had nothing to do with NG's disappearance, or it could have been something that the kidnapper thought of after the fact. Either way, it's extortion. If kidnapping was the purpose, the kidnapper usually has it planned, leaving a ransom note when they take the person or very soon after, not 24 hours later, but every case is different.

As for family being involved, I would need to know a lot more about them and their relationship with NG. Everything, like who benefits from her will, life insurance, etc., Who begs for money? Who has she supported in the past, but maybe turned down recently? If someone benefits from her will, I would think they would continue to wait She was 84. Where could they keep her safe and hidden and take care of her? Unless they're amazingly stupid, they couldn't possibly think they could get away with this. People are sometimes amazingly stupid, though, especially when they're desperate.

I think the guy on video is the one. He planned to break in, maybe to rob the place, maybe to attack NG and maybe he planned to kidnap her. He could have been watching the house for a while as in days before. There are rapists who choose elderly victims, so her age doesn't protect her. I think he was probably wandering around in her house while she was asleep and then attacked her. He felt comfortable and safe in her house, so maybe has done something like this before. This time, something went wrong; she may have been killed then or seriously hurt. He could have seen pics of SG and found out this was her mom, or he could have already known that, or he may not have known who she was until her disappearance was on the news. If he had never intended to take her, I think she would have been left in the desert. Why leave the residence and risk being seen carrying a victim?

How did he get in? Has LE said anything about point of entry? Until the video, I thought he could have been waiting inside. Was anything taken, besides NG? If he had taken something, he could have sent a pic of her holding it to prove he was the one who had her. What was in his backpack? A few tools? A cordless drill? Tape? Rope? IDK, but it looked like it contained something puffy, clothes, or maybe a sleeping bag?

Just some ideas.

I occurs to me that the family likely doesn't feel comfortable/safe going to their mom's house to retrieve items they might want right now, clear out the fridge, empty garbage, etc.

and not just that, but seriously the press, multiple agencies, pizza deliver guys, hoax ransom demands . . . This case couldn't be any more of a circus, someone needs to be running point on beefing up security at the home. LE sure haven't seemed to be as focused as I would hope on that. JMO

I looked here and don't see the images you shared. Can you give me a link to where on FBI site you found them? TIA

If so, they surely would have made some kind of statement by now, usually political.
MOO

Maybe they did via the ransom letter. Just a thought. They obviously wanted it out in the media i.e. TMZ.

My own opinion is that this isn't terribly complex other then someone broke in..beyond that I don't think this is a scenario of a criminal mastermind - I think it is more to do with mistakes made by LE (federal and local) that have caused this to be such a mystery then some complex criminal undertaking..jmo but I think that is the most likely scenario.

Glad SG brought in a private investigator. Pima police are not going to get this done.
It's basically a task force, with the FBI doing much of the work.

Bringing in a private investigator is unlikely to be very helpful, because this person doesn't have access to things like (phone downloads, cell tower data, DNA, surveillance, etc).

It's certainly not a vote of confidence though.

Does it look like he has some sort of tool in his right hand? It looks to me like a syringe, or knife?
It does look like something to me. But it's so hard to tell.
Imo

no worries not being argumentative in asking for one at all, but I was curious why I hadn't seen one of them before and was hoping to go to the source.

Don’t know if this was ever posted, but seems there was a search warrant for that house searched last night….

The search warrant connected to a man detained for questioning yesterday in the investigation of Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance is sealed, according to the clerk of the Pima County Superior Court.

Hmm... Could be polar bears too 🤔

Based on reports from mid-2025, U.S. officials and terrorism experts raised concerns regarding potential Iranian sleeper cells within the United States, with specific attention on Arizona and other border states.

I know experts are saying this person doesn’t seem professional or intelligent based on some of the things that were done (picking flowers, trying to hide from the camera, etc.). But if this person is truly that ‘stupid,’ then how have they managed to avoid being caught this long? IMO, they don’t seem as dumb as people are making them out to be, this could be far more organized and professional than assumed. Unless that’s exactly the point? …maybe they’re downplaying this person publicly to provoke a reaction or get them to make a mistake.

I'm listening to scanner and someone reported a ski mask found in an alley by their home 19 min away from NG house. No news source has confirmed this yet so not official and just my speculation
Lets hope and pray there is DNA on it!

Too hazy to really tell from those shots. However, I'm pretty sure there's something larger/bulky sticking slightly out of his right jacket pocket. ~0:14-ish. Right hand puts things into right pocket, so... 🤷‍♂️

Whatever it is, it seems distinct from the bag strap and doesn't look like a zipper pull or something else attached to the jacket as it seems there is mass/form to it within the pocket when looking from other angles and it is heavy/bulky enough to hold the pocket open a bit.

Looks like a knurled or striated surface, a tool or something. I could be completely wrong and it's the zipper pull or something soft, but it looks dense and I didn't see one on the other pocket.

So the article says that Carlos stated he was detained because a relative of his called in a tip that said that Carlos' eyes looked like the guy in the video released by the FBI at NG's front door.
Well, that is going to be an awkward family gathering next time....

Oh, I don't mean morbid thoughts, just general housekeeping that likely needs to be done. There is likely food and garbage that needs attending to, and there might be things at Mom's house they would like to have right now for comfort and/or practical purposes.

But with media and youtubers staring at the house with cameras poised, they might not feel comfortable going there. That is very sad and frustrating as is it the home where they grew up for the most part.

That is THEIR place, but the media and youtubers are squatting there.

jmo
Oh sure, I knew exactly what you meant. It’s just when you mentioned refrigerator, my mind went somewhere morbid, and I gave myself the creeps wondering if NG had a large chest type deep freezer. I don’t remember the documentary but a man that had killed his mother, hid her body at the bottom of the deep freezer at his home/hunting lodge.

@JacobOwensTV

One other quote from a neighbor, Robert Reinhart, on what says law enforcement told him during the activity seen in Annie Guthrie’s neighborhood Tuesday. “I believe they said in case someone was tossing a camera from a car window, we’re looking throughout the whole neighborhood.”
