This is what I posted earlier today: Some men tattoo their wrist with a cross. When they extend their arm, the cross is placed as seen in copied pic. Looking at perp’s wrist, I’m wondering if I see a cross due to the spacing from top to mid-section? EDIT TO ADD: the picture on left is from a Forbes news article, I did reference that in my initial post.

I am actually suspicious because they cleared him. They haven’t cleared even the family officially but they cleared this guy and let him go after a brief chat with him? He is now my top suspect just because of that. They could be waiting to see if he leads them to Nancy.

Agree. I 100% think they hope he leads them to something, either Nancy or kidnapper. I think he may be a more minor player?

Yes and SG realizes the clock is ticking in terms of her mother's life. There is only a small window of time and perhaps SG doesn't want to waste one more day trusting LE/FBI.

I mean I do believe they are trying and earnestly want to solve this but it seems possible to me that they need help.

I completely agree and that is why, IMO, it is difficult to understand what is going on, at times.

Why not? I think that her age has not much to do with it. If it's someone looking to settle a score with SG or another family member, I would think that any family member would do. It could just as easily have been a small child, a spouse, or another family member that was kidnapped. Or perhaps it's that her age made the kidnapper think that SG/family members would be more likely to want to pay a ransom and get their mother back. This woman, despite of or because of her age, was specifically chosen.

Interesting questions. Speculating here, but in one scenario, if someone from the Tucson area wanted money and knew that a nationally-known television personality had family in Tucson and developed a plan to kidnap a member of SG's family, then there were several possible targets which include AG, TC, AG's child, and NG. I think the most likely targets would be AG, NG, and the child. The choice of NG might be because she lives alone, but it does raise some interesting questions given this overall scenario. JMO.

To be clear, these were suggested by you.

a) Grogginess only lasts a few moments for most IMO, even if being awoken in the middle of the night. Regardless of whatever situation you speculate, it makes no sense for NG to still be groggy by the time she arrives at the door, IMO.
b) it was the middle of the night; I seriously doubt NG was so confused she thought someone was there to take her to church - something that usually happened during the daytime. She had functioning eyes, as far as we know.

Alternatively, I seriously doubt she opened the door in the middle of the night to a stranger unless she thought it was related to her family’s safety. There is no reason to think she thought that was the case, IMHO.

Or, maybe she answered the door without checking on who it was, because she recognized his voice?

Agreed. But I don't think the glove on the ground is the same glove.

You comb the suburbs and side-roads of the desert you're going to find used latex, nitrile, and maybe butyl gloves, among a lot of random contractor industry trash. They blow out of the back of pickup beds easily and blow in the wind like tumbleweeds.

His get up --as odd as it was-- has the advantage of mass produced and cheap stuff (that holster looks like a $5 bin cheapo or yard sale item, the ski mask and a $15 ozark trail backpack are basic WalMart items), so it doesn't narrow it down that much. Had he gone tactical mall ninja and bought some high end night vision goggles ($thousands) a $350 Camelbak tactical backpack it would be easier to narrow that purchase down for instance. Even something like a distinctive brand or style - say KA-BAR knife w/ matching leather sheath.

Could have been a window. Or multiple entry points. I don't think we even know if she has a security system and if so, how it operates (just movement in the home, just open/closing doors, windows?, was it on that night its full capacity? sometimes people leave them off/forget especially on a late night). Broken into or keys/codes used? Entries already unlocked? Happens a lot where I grew up, less likely in Tucson I would imagine.

I agree - I wonder if initial entry was the back door or perhaps a window - maybe the perp(s) had to exit the house out of the back door to grab the backpack (or for another reason) unlocking the front door with the intent to re-enter that way and spotted the Nest Cam - or maybe the person on the camera footage is a second individual who arrived after the fist perp entered the house and unlocked the front door for second perp to enter. Just different scenarios and MOO -

Good eyes. When I zoom in I do see what you mean and it does look like it could be a tattoo similar to the cross one you posted.

Do we know if NG's home has had intruders or been burglarized in the past? She has a number of cameras but I have not heard if those were installed recently due to some event. Also, we don't know if those multiple entry points were well-secured.

One thing I have learned following cases is sometimes a home can appear to be secure but the security features are not adequate. Sliding glass doors are especially vulnerable and are sometimes inadvertently left unlocked, giving easy access to intruders.

I've been trying to keep up so apologies if this has been answered, but are there are statements out there about what the dogs hit on and where they lost the scent? I only read of dogs having been used here, if anyone has a link to source speaking of dogs being used I'd appreciate it.

I haven't read anything either. Hopefully someone has and they have had the dogs involved

Since this guy has a tattoo that is partly visible on his wrist-- does anyone know if Arizona prisons take pictures of inmates tattoos? It's not unlikely this guy has served time before.
