Speaking of ignored... Does anyone know if that blue shirt near NG's walkway ever got collected/addressed by LE?

That is bugging me too! One of my theories is that the perp(s) handed NG a towel or piece of clothing to stop the bleeding (which is why there are drops along the walkway but not a lot). The shirt doesn't look bloody, but maybe that was folded to the inside when discarded.

I can't believe a major piece of evidence would be neglected, and it likely is nothing (?), but it has been on my mind.

really hard to be sure one way or the other, because the ring picture is dark and blurry, the perp's eyes are partly obscured, and there are some uncontrolled variables here like the angle of the shot and whether the eyes are open to the same degree. all to the point where it's hard to find any definitive points of comparison.

having said that, i *think* the suspect's eyes are upturned, whereas the other pair of eyes is not. look at the relative heights of the inner and outer corners of each eye.

What is complicating things is the amount of press and scrutiny this thing is getting and the number of LE, FBI and private agents involved. That is creating some hoax ransom demands that are getting mixed up with the real ones. Plus the real kidnappers are probably scared of being busted if they share too much info like a voice or video recording. They know the whole country is looking for NG now.

I'm not sure "timestamped" is a correct term for the recovered video, but per Pima Co Sheriff's Dept and the FBI, the doorbell was disconnected at approximately 1:47 am on February 1st.

I agree, but if it was a kidnapping, why didn't the kidnappers send proof of life so they'd get their money and NG could come home? All I can think is that something happened very early with NG, and proof of life was impossible. I also agree that the media circus around this has been insane.

Could it be intruder went there to get money from Nancy, supplies backpack to tie her hands and gag her. Was going to take her to an ATM and out of fear she says, “I don’t have money but my daughter does.”

That the criminal brought something with him to uses/supplies he thought might be needed for some purpose. That is what I would think a backpack with items means.

thank you...i don't disagree.

what i'm saying is that over the last 1160 pages we've gone round and round with zilch. IMO the "ransom requests", TMZ, etc etc are simply 'hoax' distractions. those of us that have been here for (too) a long time see 'it is what it is'.

for all we know the intruder video was filmed last night under the FBI and LE watch. we have no idea. they're trying to make someone nervous IMO. the media is analyzing stride length, posture, behavioral biometrics. PULEEEZ.

after thousands of speculations, i'm only more cemented in the who the why the where and the how. JMO.
