Especially since Nancy lived in a HOA, which I believe she did, from the letter posted in here that the HOA had sent out to all home owners in the community. The home owners association DOES probably did have a private Facebook group. Those things are usually a disaster, but you are so right, people constantly post suspicious photos from their ring cameras, or crowdsource who a mystery person is, or what they are doing there. Unofficial community watchmen, every neighborhood has some in-between stirring up drama. LE has hopefully already reviewed that group for any clues. In between all the lost pet postings, meltdowns over trash collection, and kids on e-bikes, there may some real clues that people posted in real time as they were airing their grievances. (Those boards can be useful too and might actually be for something like this.)Same here. I am always getting notifications from people asking about someone they don't recognize. Also, almost everyone on my street has their porch lights on. I actually have a lightbulb on my porch light that comes on when it's dark, so I don't even need to turn it on/off. It's unbelievable to me that it didn't seem like NG had her front porch light on.
LE, reporters, a pizza delivery person. People have been all over NG's home, inside and outside. No chance of proving anything.Good Lord. They are just now "looking for video from January 1 - February 2" ??? And just now "about" to send an alert through the neighborhood app?? Make sure it's from officials. Great. Luckily the neighborhood group has been more on the ball. Why didn't LE do this immediately. Even to say, PLEASE PRESERVE ANY FOOTAGE FROM JANUARY 1 - FEBRUARY 2" to at least ensure it didn't get overwritten. Honest to God, I have watched my local neighborhood lost pet Facebook groups act more proactive and organized than this investigation.
Too many cooks in the kitchen. Whomever told him that is also pot stirring. They need get along to go along. Saying things like to a reporter certainly isn’t helpful to anyone out there working or to NG and her family. It’s very disrespectful and just escalates public distrust of the case. Immature reportingWhat a clustermug
Complete clown show at this point.
Poor NG.
IMO.
I agree. At this point, JUST FIND HERLE, reporters, a pizza delivery person. People have been all over NG's home, inside and outside. No chance of proving anything.
They're directly behind the paywall of the article I quoted, I just grabbed them since I have a relative that subscribes to Daily Mail. Can't edit the post now but this is the article. If you need to delete because it's insufficient, completely understand, I don't want to cause integrity issues.I don't want to have to delete but please we need you to link back to your source.
Send them the link to this forum and let them know, at this time we are in charge of investigation. If we had more info we could probably solve it faster remotely. haha
If they get a ransom note, I don't see why they can't talk about it. Thats my opinion though
Is this area closer to Nancy’s house or closer to her daughter’s house?
If the power was cut, even if the camera was powered by battery, then it would have no wifi to upload anything. The fact they could retrieve video means power and internet were working.since Harvey confirmed the video of the suspect on the porch camera was at 2:12, was the “camera disconnecting” caused by cutting power to the house and deactivating internet? My parents house was burgled last year and they cut the power to the house prior to deactivate their alarm and the police said it happened often(this is in Vegas). That may explain why the perp is so nonchalant walking up to the camera, and then realized its battery operated and still recording.
