I don't think necessarily, though I think it depends on why you think they used the flowers to begin with.

I think they used them as a "grip" to help remove the camera. Before pulling them up, it looks like they looked around the porch for something else to use. Failing to find anything, the plant became the best option.

If you think they used the flowers to somehow disguise themselves, then maybe? I don't think this is the most likely reason, though, since they were able to mostly shield their face from the camera using their left hand prior to removing it. 🤷‍♀️
I agree the most likely usage of the flowers was to get a better grip for removing the camera, when it seemed the glove might tear from the first attempt, or the glove was slipping on it in the first attempt. We see the first attempt, glove-only.

IMO, etc.

AC runs in AZ even in the winter?
I wouldn't wake up if heat/AC shut off until I got too cold or too hot.
We sure run ours here in Texas. That and the fan shutting off is automatic wake up.

For the letters that did not have any way to contact whoever sent them, I get why SG and her family made public pleas to ask for proof of life and to please get in touch with them.

Other than that, I think the media talking about them is creating major risk issues. Monitoring the account and reporting live if there is activity in it is a risk. Especially if it was first a smaller amount to test whether it worked or if LE can get anything from it. They bring every expert on to their news shows who cheerfully and loudly proclaim, "Oh yea, it definitely can be traceable." Sir. LE is trying to CATCH an active kidnapper with a still missing victim. If it is in fact traceable, maybe keep that to yourself and let the adductor try to move money so LE can... catch them.

If a kidnapper thinks their pay day isn't going to work out (and I have no idea how legit these letters even are), then you run the risk that they drop the plan, cause harm, and peace out over the border. This real time reporting is awful.

Also, there is no need to report on whether the family paid a ransom or not or if there is activity in the account. Pretty sure the abductor will see there is money and try to get a pay day. There is real risk involved in advertising how much a ransom was and if it was paid because it rewards horrific crime and may encourage other criminals that this is a good business. If the family opts to pay, great, I completely get it, but details do not need to be confirmed or advertised.

If Nancy is found and LATER someone wants to do a story and talk about what the ransom notes said or more details, okay, but I don't think any media people should be compromising an investigation. Also LE seems like such a mess with no clear line of who is in charge, I don't even trust the media people are being advised on how much they can actually say or not. Harvey wouldn't report the amount that the "activity" in the wallet showed, but yet a local news station did. There is absolutely no game plan.
IMO if it comes to them, they are reporting it. That's what they do

lsI wouldn't put much stock in it. From whaat I just read on Google, The Daily Mail is not a reputable news source and is more of a tabloid
Here in the UK The Daily Mail is also known as the Daily Fail!

Video of the route from AG to NG's house. There are a lot of businesses on the way to NG's house. It gets more secluded the closer you get to her house, but still, I'm sure the perpetrator turned off of that main road. How many cars are out from 2-3am? His vehicle must've been caught somewhere, at some point.
Thanks, that was interesting to see. Very few lit roads. Not good for this case.

I don't think any ransom notes should be taken seriously at this point. It will be almost two weeks now. The chances that she is still alive at this point is very slim.

Many have speculated that SG appears to have resigned herself somewhat to this possibility.

Then it would be for Mrs. Guthrie's earthly body to have a Christian burial.

Imo

So does AB. I know what you mean, but maybe just communicate with investigators instead of publishing immediately for clicks. JMO

Man with similar backpack is like man with similar Nike shoes. I can't believe TMZ put this out or it's getting any traction. 🙄
Doesn't look like the same jacket...etc...

Also think they should look into restaurants NG, and maybe even her and AG together, went to in past 2 months. Where one or both of them had complained a lot. If they were together and it was AG who threw a fit, then maybe someone wanted to punish her.
Why would you think this; do you know if their personalities suggest this type of behavior?

Agreed. Whatever plan they had has gone to complete s***. There's no way they can collect money without being caught, so they tied up loose ends and bailed. I'd be shocked if they were even still in the U.S.

You have no way of knowing they didn’t contact them first before publishing.

Neoprene gloves are actually quite grippy when dry. They would become more slippery when they got wet, such as the juices from a soft plant.

I don’t think Nancy ever made it home, I think they removed her pacemaker and disposed of it. Got rid of her, dropped some spots of blood on her porch then staged the fake kidnapping.

  • #24,676
I've also seen plural "aids" written
If Nancy’s hearing aids were both being charged when family/LE came to the home, then I think that would be a good indicator she was in bed when intruder(s) entered. It’s not like an intruder would take her hearing aids off, then charge them. My mom charges hers at night.

Does this mean the “1:47 am doorbell camera disconnects” entry has been removed from the timeline? Some clarification would be nice.
Ugh, yes, this definitely muddies the water. I wonder if there were multiple Nest cameras and it was a different one that disconnected. Or if the doorbell camera did later reconnect and upload more footage (as I earlier said I thought was unlikely, but obviously I could have been wrong). MOO

BBM:
Agreed. It sounds like someone who's disgruntled/complaining about the fact that they don't have a larger role.

It will be someone from the Sheriff's Office who said that, not an FBI agent.

An FBI agent is a professional who knows and understands chain of command.

JMO.
Agree. POST class: Jurisdiction 101

How are you supposed to remove a pacemaker that easily? I thought it was under the skin. Are you suggesting the perp has surgical knowledge?

Because of the black gloves he wore which some restaurants use. And maybe the removing of NG body is to punish AG. Just a thought I had but no real insight to that.

Trying to figure out why take NG out of the home if it wasn't for ransom?
